Also - for anyone who's posted pet pictures.......are you doing that via the MFP app on your phone or on your computer? I've seen a cat in a window, a cat in a lap, and a dog in a bed. My cat has been jumping from box to box and just sitting there. He's so cute! Wish I could share.
I haven't shared yet, but I saw a cute one with the cat in his round striped bed yesterday that I wished I had my camera for. Anyways I would take the pic on my phone and upload to the computer with the cord plugged from the computer to the phone. Save the pictures to documents perhaps. At the top of when you are typing a message here you will find an icon "attach files", press on that to start attaching the file you want. Let us know if you need more help. It is probably easier with the app, but I am on the computer most often.
@SarahG626 The cat in the window is my guy, Mike. I have posted pics from both my computer and my iPad using the photo icon as @salleewins describes.

01/23: 124.0
01/22: 124.0 Today was a fair day.
01/25: 123.4 I ate about 600 calories in candy instead of lunch. Ha. Love a good sabotage.
01/26: 123.4 I need to keep in mind - "Just give me 10 days" next time I 'want' to eat candy instead of a real meal. Another poster mentioned something similar above, I have started to either feel I deserve to eat whatever I want or I am at an ok weight so therefore I can afford to eat poorly thinking it won't affect me too negatively. Or it could be something else entirely. I must stop doing it. Stop doing for the next 7 days would be a good start! I will.
01/27: 122.8 Lazy Sunday. It was a good day.
01/28: 122.8
01/29: 123.4 I am pleased that I have been logging this week. I have been in maintenance for some time and it can be easy to get “slack” when I stop logging. You know what you know but it doesn’t always mean you practice what you know. Ha. 10 days chipmunk.
01/30: 122.8 it’s so cold!!!! Wow.

Ready for round 3
OSW 88KG (-3.8kg) or {8.4lbs}
RSW 84.2kg
Goal... Less than I started!
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 84.3kg not a great start but this is my 3rd week in Keto and everything I've read says it's normal and just keep going. Couldn't run this morning as it's been raining for 48 hours and everywhere is under water.
01/24 84.2kg and it stopped raining so I ran.
01/25 83.7kg and a short morning run. It's all green for go today!
01/26 83.2kg is working still. Staying green for calories and within my Keto macros. Will do the strength training today
01/27 83.0kg was sick last night so I went to bed at 6pm without dinner. No idea how this will affect future weight loss! But is officially 3 weeks today and I'm down 5kg (11 lbs) total.
01/28 83.7kg so that's the difference between eating and not! Ran 2.5km and stayed within my new macros yesterday
01/29 83.2kg but scale being weird again so I took the highest. Worked late last night so no other exercise but will be back on it today. Stayed in the green for calories and new macros.
01/30 83.3kg after my morning run. 4km - longest run since before Christmas and I managed to get slightly faster each km. All staying green so it will come off.
01/31 83.1kg still keeping it all in the green and being patient.
02/01 82.9kg nice to finish the round with a loss. Down 1.3kg this round.12 -
Yip, ready for round 3. This one wasn't as amazing as I had envisioned!

Make good food choices, plan my meals and grocery shopping.
01/23 169 Walked 70 mins treadmill. Field trip, exhausted. Within calories but made brownies for a work birthday so calories were not good
01/24 169 Rest day, tired
01/25 169 Holding steady. 60 mins treadmill, calories within limit and tracked.
01/26 167.2 walked 90 mins on trails. Calories good choices except 2 glasses red wine It's the weekend!
01/27 167.6 Walked again on trails, beautiful weather.
01/28 167.6 Walked on treadmill, calories not tracked yet but should be good.
01/29 167.6 Rest day, tired this morning. Still got in 10 000 steps at work. Within calories and just busy making balsamic veggie pasta for school lunches.
01/30 167.8 Walked 80mins treadmill. Not making good food choices, but still within calories. Tracking daily, becoming a habit now, great! Really wanted to be 166 this round, but doesn't look like it.
01/31 167.2 Walked 70 mins treadmill. Super Bowl chili at work - was super hungry, rough day all round. Calories just scraped in but that was with added exercise calories. Tracked everything tho.

Previous daysWed 01/23 70.8 (+0.3) no yoga in the morning, treadmill walk and short run done (35mins, around 5.5km)
So yesterday got slightly out of hand after some work frustrations. I asked a friend to come over for a glass of wine and we had a few glasses, snacks and stayed up waaaay too late. So i didn't have time for yoga this morning, but made time to pack health breakfast, lunch and snacks. I also packed my gym gear and will do at least 30mins of walking on the treadmill, there is no excuse not to do that - aim for what's achievable
This is my last week in the gym here, next week's evenings will be spend with DH and not the treadmill
Thu 01/24 71.4 (+0.6) yoga & treadmill run&walk (70mins, 50 running, 10km)
All my own fault, I was very hungry after that wine on Tue and had to work late after I got home, so of course I told myself I deserved snacks, which were left over from Tue.
shunggie, bethe238, afti50 and abowersgirl (links taken off) you know, last night, when I was guiltily enjoying my snacks and didn't log everything, I thought 'maybe this calorie counting just isn't for me. I've been doing it since May and don't have much to show for'. And then I read your posts and encouragement and realised that it is hard and if I hadn't been here, I probably would have gained more than I have lost, exercised less and just been annoyed with myself. So thank you for reminding me that it is worth it, however slowly. Your journeys are inspiring!
Fri 01/25 70.9 (-0.5) yoga
Alright, this is my last weekend that i'll be logging for about 3 weeks and I feel like it might not happen and that's ok. After the lovely comments I received, I had a talk with myself and realised a few things: Last time I spent 3 months in southern Africa, I gained around 10 kilos - I was 15 years younger. This time, I didn't gain anything apart from a wealth of experiences, new confidence in myself as a person and professionally, more love for my husband (this is the longest we've ever been apart), more appreciation for regular yoga practice and treadmill running, and many new low-medium recipes cooked very quickly with causing as little washing up as possible. I also met and reconnected with many lovely people, both in person and online.
Now, to my progress, I really need to change my eating patterns. It's not even that I'm very unhealthy, but I "spend" 500-700cals on snacks&fruit every day instead of proper meals. I love grazing throughout the day and then also at night. Basically, I could just eat snacks and no proper meals exclusively. I have changed chocolate bars and cookies (with some exceptions) for fruit, nuts, popcorn over the last year or so, but it's still too much, the cals add up so quickly. I don't know how to change my mindset that those snacks are a reward or fuel for "hard" work (desk work), but I'll keep trying. I've changed my goal to only 0.25kg loss per week to match my sedentary lifestyle here and am on 1510cals/day, but I mostly eat 1700-1900 in the week and probably more most weekends. That may explain my lack of proper downward progress, I should just admit that I'm currently in maintenance and accept that. Any exercise I do just ensures that I don't have serious gains and keep my mind balanced.
Wow, sorry for the long post, so many revelations and realisations this morning.
Sat 01/26 71.1 (+0.2) yoga done, treadmill planned
I had a snack feast last night and it was great! Skipped the gym, evening plans changed, so I stayed home with some work, wine, sweets and a few episodes.
bethe238 thank you. My husband will be here with me for 3 weeks and we'll be out most evenings next week and then on holiday (mostly safari lodges) for 2 weeks. Logging only guesstimates makes no sense to me for such a long time, so I rather jump back on the waggon afterwards.
Sun 01/27 dnw DH arrives (in the middle of night to Mon)
Today is the day! Well technically tomorrow morning, so I still have half a day to get through. No exercise or logging as i'm hung over after a fun night with drinks and dancing and great people til the small hours.
Still have to do some work once my brain gets back into working order. No regrets and I could not be happier to see my love again in around 12 hours.
Mon 01/28 72kg (+0.9) No yoga, no run
No surprise, ate all the things yesterday, plus little sleep, the whole week actually. Anyway, DH is here, yay!!!! Diet isn't my main focus for this week and until the end of the round. Most important is that I finish my work this Friday. I'll weigh, but will not worry about the number. Oooh and I will be able to set up my fitbit tonight - just after reading an article that calorie estimates for walking are wrong by up to 50%
https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-wales-47013454
Tue 01/29 72kg (+/-0.0) yoga done
Super tired yesterday, went out for lunch (turkish) and dinner (steak) for a lovely date night and the decision to take the job I was offered, which means moving to the Netherlands in March! But we'll do our own, very soft Brexit.
More eating out today, lunch with a colleague and not sure what dinner will be.
Last night, I set up my fitbit, yay! I won't have much activity the next three weeks, but wanted to start using it anyway. I'm really looking forward to adding lots of activity when back home. Add me if you like, i know some of you had shared their details before, i'll look for them this week. My username is the same as here, FrauKazi.
Wed 01/30 71.6 (-0.4) yoga done
No car so actually got 10,000+steps. But also went out for lunch and dinner. I think that's how it's gonna be for this week.
Thu 01/31 71.6 (+/-0.0) no yoga
Out last night with drinks, great fun
Fri 02/01 71.6 no yoga
Today is my last day at work in Zambia. On Sunday we're off for 2 weeks holiday and then back to the UK.
Round 66 results: +0.8kg, which is acceptable, given how I've been eating.
I will be back for Round 69, maybe end of R68.8 -
I am 5'1" SW 148 GW 125
01/23. 148. 67.1kg
01/24 146.8. Good to see a wee drop. I've been going over daily Cal's by about 60. I figure it will take me a week to adjust. Concentrating on getting the nutrients right, not so easy when daily calouries is 1200. But I'm definitely eating healthier and that's exactly what I need!
01/25 146.8. Going strong, managed to have only one chocolate almond 😃
01/26. 145.5 It's been a good day...staying strong
01/27. 145.5. Admitted to hospital.
01/28. Hospital food is yummy! Couldn't resist the desert or the extra piece of toast. How can you when it's placed in front of you.😄
01/29. 145.5. At least I didn't gain. I've had a good day diet wise and stayed well within my calouries.
01/30 145.5 I am unable to exercise but hopefully have another drop soon.
01/31. 145.5 lb. 66kg. A bit discouraged that I haven't dropped a wee bit more. Though not being able to exercise, maybe I'm expecting too much. So I'm going to try at getting 1 lb or 500gm off per 10 days. Struggled with craving but praise God I overcome.
02/01. 144.6 lb. 65.6kg. Yay another loss!

ROUND 66 (Round 12 for me)
5’5” 66 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
GW 135 lb.
Cumulative weight loss for Rounds 54-65 = 36.4 lb.
I started Round 54 and Keto WOE on September 24, 2018. My arthritis hip and shoulder pain have decreased significantly since my second week of Keto. Staying within calorie limits is easy enough, but not exceeding my carb limit is still tricky for me. I check my ketone level with a KetoMojo meter a couple of times a week to make sure my numbers are good. Some of my NSVs: feeling less self-conscious, wedding band fits, smaller clothing, a happy husband, and inspiring said husband to work a little harder on quitting his cigarette habit. The closer I get to my goal, the more excited and motivated I become! Don’t expect me to disappear when I reach maintenance. I like you folks, and I really appreciate and enjoy your company!
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 143.4 (sigh) Easy come, easy go. I’m up almost 2 pounds from my weigh-in yesterday. If I’d gone back to bed, I wonder how long it would have taken to go down? Oh well, I had to go to work and a foot doctor appointment this afternoon. I’m less than 10 lb. from my goal, and I will get there. It may not go down tomorrow. It’s cold, and I’m treating myself to a glass of dry red wine. I prefer sweet, but this is pretty good. It’s probably good because I’m not used to sugar anymore. As long as I’m ready for our cruise in April, I’ll be happy. I found out my daughter and her husband are signed up for the same cruise (not planned), and my granddaughter called from Kansas, very excited, to say they’ve decided to take her out of school that week so she can go! We love cruising with and spending time with my granddaughter and took her to Alaska last summer. She has a boyfriend now, so I expect her to start spending less time with me, and over 700 miles between us doesn’t help, either. Please excuse me, but I’m using these daily posts as a journal and keeping copies. Kill two birds with one stone kind of thing?
01/24 141.0 Yesterday’s gain is gone, so I’m glad I didn’t stress over it. I’ve corrected my priorities after someone in the Christian MFP group I belong to asked if we were more diligent about logging in MFP than we were about our Bible study. I found myself guilty, so Bible study is now done with breakfast rather than logging in here first. I played cards with friends today, and I took Thor for a 5 mile walk this afternoon. It was a very pleasant day.
01/25 141.4 Hmm…. it’s up just a little, so I’m still good. Last night, I was pleased to discover I’m already doing better, and more, pushups and sit-ups. I’m getting stronger! I hoped to go to lunch or leave work early today, but lots of folks are ready to complete their tax returns. I ate two boiled eggs and a little slice of cheddar for breakfast and didn’t get another chance to eat until I arrived home this evening. Actually, our break room has lots of candy and other carb-laden snacks, but I know better than to give in. I made it through the day!
01/26 140.4 I slept in this morning, then had a busy day. Thor and I got in a 6.4 mile walk, and my husband and I grocery shopped and had dinner at Denny’s this evening. It was good—the senior tilapia with salad, broccoli, and squash—all keto approved. I still have to get in my sit-ups and pushups before bedtime.
01/27 140.6 My walks are still taking time to pay off, but I can wait. I stayed up late last night, then rose early this morning for church. I’m about to take my Sunday nap, then I’ll try a couple of new recipes. It’s nice having meals I can just heat up during the week, especially on days I work.
01/28 140.6 I’m a little stuck, and I didn’t get a chance to walk today. It would have been a great day to walk, but I had too many clients at work. We do what we have to do. I made a great vegetable (cabbage, spinach, celery, Ro-Tel tomatoes) beef (top round steak) soup in my pressure cooker this evening. I didn’t try to log it because I was in a hurry and didn’t take time to record the recipe and calculate the number of servings. My husband likes it, too, so that makes it a winner. I will complete my pushups and sit-ups before I go to bed. It seems funny, but I enjoy doing them. The cold front has arrived this evening. The wind sounds fierce, and I’m so grateful I don’t live up north. God bless those of you who do, and I pray you can stay warm!
01/29 141.6 Okay, this makes me a little angry. I don’t like going up and down (only down). I went to an appointment to adjust my orthotics this morning, and I need to wear them a few times before taking a long walk. I had to get up early this morning, so I took a nap. I leave for singing group practice in a few minutes. I know the last few pounds are usually the hardest, so I’m trying to be patient.
01/30 140.2 That’s more like it. I could have gone for a walk today—it’s not nearly as cold as it is in the northern states, but it’s still cold for me. I have a sore calf and sore foot, probably both from my orthotics, so that’s my other excuse. I feel bad for those of you suffering with the bitter cold to my north. You’re in my prayers.
I know this is off topic, but there’s something heavy on my heart today. I’m praying, with a broken heart for healing of the spreading cancer of immorality in our nation. New York’s decision to allow abortion up to the birth date of children, and legalize killing the children if they are born alive, is sickening. Virginia has followed suit, and Rhode Island is considering doing the same. Already, in New York, it’s reported more children are aborted than are born. How can this evil exist in a nation founded on Godly principles? I'll try not to mention it again, but it's so disturbing.
01/31 140.6 Okay, I’m stuck. At least I’m stuck 37 lb. lighter than I was 19 weeks ago. Regarding my post yesterday, I was relieved to find out the abortion bill in Virginia was voted down in the subcommittee before coming to a full vote. I hope it's voted down in other states currently considering the same proposal.
I had a birthday today, or yesterday, since it’s after midnight, my time, but I don’t feel older! Yay!

Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 238.4 eating and exercise were good this morning. Have my couch to 5k W2 D3 run tonight. It’s freezing in London!
01/24 237.6 Finished my run last night at did 3.3 km. It may be running and walking but it makes me feel so good! Ate really well and feel like I have so much more energy! It must actually be quite annoying!
01/25 237.4 didn’t walk as much yesterday so this is expected. Going out for an annual get together with friends today and going to enjoy it and not worry about weight. Life is about balance after all. Happy Friday everyone!
01/26 239.8 went for my run. Then had a fabulous meal and drinks with friends. Am I surprised by how much the scale has gone up? Slightly. Do I regret it? Not for one second. Best food I’ve had in ages and the company was superb. I’m sure a lot of it is water weight and tomorrow will probably reflect that.
01/27 239.8 Hmph was expecting this to be lower but maybe my body is still recovering after all the drinks. Onwards and downwards
01/28 238.6 and woosh the salt must be out of my body and getting back to where i was. Ate well yesterday but can’t say much for my exercise apart from the run in the morning. Back to work today. For some reason I find it so much easier when I have a routine.
01/29 235.8 ok someone pinch me. I stood on the scales 4 times and it said the same every time. I haven’t changed my diet or exercise. Maybe the cheat meal made me retain water for longer...regardless I’m so happy. 😎🏃🏼♀️💪😃
01/30 234.2. Holly bananas. What is happening, not that I am complaining. I suppose I have upped my walking. Food is good too and finally not craving sweet stuff after my cheat meal. Tomorrow will be my 1 month anniversary. Happy hump day!
01/31 234.2 it stuck! I will take that. Thought for sure it would shoot back up.
Food and exercise on point but due on tomorrow so will see what happens.
02/01 234.2 to be honest I’m surprised it didn’t go up as I had some honey cake yesterday. Walking was good and I just think my body wanted something sweet. Onwards and downwards. See you in the next round #winning

Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 - 61.8 kg (136.2 lbs.). A good starting point for the round. Did “six-pack in 6 weeks” with Jillian Michaels in the morning. I already logged by food for today. The result – 90kcal over the target value. We are planning a typical Bavarian dinner for my husband’s birthday tonight. Wondering about my weighing result for tomorrow.
01/24 - 61.6 kg (135.8 lbs.). Didn’t expect this after yesterday’s evening meal. 10km run in the morning. Strength training planned for the evening
01/25 - 61.9 kg (136.5 lbs.).↑ Should have been more careful with the nuts. “30 day shred” with Jillian Michaels in the morning.
01/26 – No scale. Zero activity
01/27 –Zero activity
01/28 - No scale. “30 day shred” with Jillian Michaels in the morning. Non-smoker for 4 days. Nothing compared to the previous >25 years of smoking. Still trying to get control over my appetite
01/29 - 62.6 kg (138.0 lbs.). 20min of strength training and 10km run in the morning.
01/30 - 62.3 kg (137.3 lbs.). “Six-pack in 6 weeks” with Jillian Michaels in the morning.
01/31 - 61.7 kg (136.0 lbs.). 20min of strength training in the morning. “30 day shred” with Jillian Michaels is planned for the evening
02/01 - 62.6 kg (138.0 lbs.). It’s a „FOOD RETENTION“ from yesterday . “30 day shred” with Jillian Michaels in the morning. There is too much snow for running, but it will not stay for a long time.

01/23-216.2- yesterday finished at just under 1700cals, I'm happy with that.
01/24-217.4- not so good yesterday, was tempted to not log but I did. I will be having a low cal day today. I have to remind myself that one day does not take away my successes for the last few weeks, according to Fitbit I have still come away with a deficit from it anyway...so why do I feel so guilty and de-motivated?x
01/25- 215.8- 1350cals yesterday. I'm going to get out in the drizzle in a minute and walk the dog and then Iv got plenty of housework to crack on with. My 1 year old has been very fussy the last few days and nights due to not feeling very well with a nasty cold, I'm feeling a little worn down and tired. Today is going to be a good day, weigh in with the family tomorrow and it would be nice to lose something X
01/26- 215.2- 840cals so a little over fasting calories but still way under maintenance and just over 17,000steps! Weigh in today with the family X
01/27- 216.4
01/28- 213.2- I was shocked to see this number this morning as we went out for a late lunch, early dinner yesterday to TGI Friday's and there was wine involved, hopefully it will stick around. Been doing plenty of walking and today's a low cal day X
01/29- 215.0- ahh drats. Yesterday was a good day, ate a little above fasting cals but did 15500steps. I'm about to do a weekly shop, I just couldn't sleep last night so had time to plan the next weeks food, now I've just got to stick to the plan!x
01/30- 214.2lb- did well yday, 1400 cals
01/31- 213.2- cals under maintenance yday but not a fast day like I'd planned, doing it today instead X
02/01- 212.6- Yay, a good day yesterday, 550cals, 11,000steps. I'm proud of myself for my progress the last 2 rounds, on to round 67 now X14 -

Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 - 185lbs - up a little from yesterday. Not surprising as didn't poop yesterday (tmi sorry, but it definitely plays a part). Ate well and drank lots so expect a drop tomorrow
01/24 - 184lbs - yay! As I expected. Things are going in the right direction again. Ate well and drank lots yesterday
01/25 - 184lbs - I thought this would drop. I ate well yesterday, logged everything, drank plenty etc. But I am now full of cold and full of snot, so maybe I'm retaining water due to that? Who knows?!
01/26 - 183.4lbs - had a lovely lie in this morning, so a later weigh in. So don't quite tryst this until I see it for a second time. DH got up with DD at 6 so I could have a rest. Was well needed and appreciated. Now to start the day
01/27 - 183lbs - huh. It stuck! Well that's great!! Yay! Stuck to calories yesterday, but didn't drink enough for sure. Got plenty of steps in though. Today is swimming with DD and then to MILs house for the day
She's a great cook, but not the healthiest lol
01/28 - 182.8lbs - Wahoo! Feeling good about this. I stuck to calorie goal yesterday, and didn't go overboard at MILs! Official weekly weigh in day today and I am 3.4lbs down on last week. Wahoo! Also, my cold has cleared. So, yay! X
01/29 - 182.6lbs - Still going in the right direction. Yes! Hit 10,000 steps yesterday, drank loads, stuck to calorie goal.
01/30 - 182.2lbs - Well this is a surprise. Had a nasty comment from a colleague about my weight yesterday and it really upset me. So I had McDonald's for dinner. I was over calorie goal, but I think still in a deficit. Still, it's high in salt, so I might pay for this tomorrow instead.
01/31 - 182.4lbs - I expect this is the after effect of the McDonald's lol. Could be worse. And I over slept this morning so am now in a rush. Whoops. Thanks for the kind words Beth, my other colleagues are all lovely and gave me lots of support.
02/01 - 182.8lbs - yeah, we had sausage and chips last night. No excuses. Shows on the scale. Oh well. Still down overall for the 10 days. Today is a new day!
Result of round 66: -2.0 lbs
Have a great day everyone!

Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 - 190.1 - I stayed low carb all day yesterday and I’m on the right track for today so far!
01/24 - 189 - Headed in the right direction. I had a very stressful day and I really wanted to eat the stress away with carbs, but I didn’t. I wasn’t perfect on eating no carbs, but in the past I would have said screw it and gotten something sweet when I was stressed. I’m really trying to clean up my relationship with food, especially carbs.
01/25 - 188.6 - Still headed in the right direction. I woke up feeling dehydrated and swollen. Hopefully I got enough water today. I had a glass of wine after work today, but carbs were low otherwise so maybe I’ll still stay under carbs today.
01/26 - 187.3 - I have been doing really well with my low carb goal. I am hoping to get back to exercising this weekend, so I might go up a little in weight but it’ll be worth it.
01/27 - 186.5 - This is the lowest I’ve been in a couple of months. I’m expecting a slow down in the next couple days because this was all water weight. I’m ok with that though. As long as the trend overall keep going down, I’ll be happy.
01/28 - 188.4 - Two pounds of water added back on in one night. I was really craving buffalo wings so I got them. I also got a salad and ate some of the homemade bread that comes with it. I could tell last night that I was retaining water. I’ll be sure to drink lots of water today and keep the carbs down. We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
01/29 - 187 - Headed in the right direction again. I almost said screw it yesterday and started the “I’ll start back up tomorrow” game. I held strong though! I got some low carb snacks and enjoyed those rather than getting completely derailed. Small victories
01/30 - 186.6 - I’m happy that I’m still moving in the right direction. I will have to start tracking next round if I want to keep losing weight so I’m trying to start the habit over the next few days.
01/31 - 186.5 - I went for a walk after work yesterday with a co-worker and tracked all of my food yesterday. I've already tracked half of my food for today. I don't have anything planned for dinner, so I'm going to have to be strong when I stop to get something to cook for dinner tonight.
02/01 - 185.9 - Wow! I’m amazed I’m seeing that number. This good motivation for the next round. Thank you to everyone here because this 10 day challenge has certainly helped to keep me accountable! See you in round 67!!16 -
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 58.6 kg Feeling good and excited to start this round. Completed a 30 min run this morning, and have all my meals packed at work and logged
01/24 57.9 kg The rest of yesterday was good; stayed within my calorie goal, had loads of water and went to bed early. This morning's weight is a big drop from yesterday, so I doubt it will stick around, but it is definitely motivation to stay on track today No run this morning but will try get to gym this afternoon. We are having dinner at my mil's which always causes some anxiety because her food is incredible but often buttered/crumbed/sauced/etc. Will try and be mindful of what I dish up.
01/25 57.7 kg Yesterday was good. Went to gym as planned and had a great upper body weight lifting session, plus ended up not going to the mil so had a small dinner at home. I am surprised to see the 57's sticking around but I expect that to change over the weekend as I find it almost impossible to stay on track when the week is over Also completed a 30 minute run this morning
01/26 57.9 kg I felt very peckish and hungry yesterday and had a late dinner of take-out and wine with hubby and his mom last night. Honestly thought I would see a bigger jump than just the .2 kg. I'll take it though! We ordered bulk groceries that will be delivered today and I am planning to do ALL of the meal prep as I watched a couple of great meal prep inspo videos I am keen to try out Also have a braai (almost like a bbq for anyone who doesn't know ) this evening with friends from Australia. Will try be mindful. Also rest day from gym today.
01/27 58.9 kg Couldn't login to comment but did weigh in.
01/28 59 kg This always happens on weekends and I am struggling so much to control it. While I didn't go completely overboard I ate a bunch of trigger foods for my IBS and the result is bloat and sadness. I was getting so excited about the 57's sticking around I ended up doing meal prep for a bunch of meals this week so hoping to end this round on a good note, and will, as always, try be better over the weekend. Weakend it is for sure!
01/29 58.5 kg Going in the right direction again My tummy was still not fully recovered yesterday but regardless I did a 30 min run in the morning and strength training in the evening. Food was on point and had loads of water. Also did a 30 min run this morning and have all my meals prepped for the day. Feeling positive!
01/30 57.9 kg Yay back in the 57's! Let's see if I can keep it there this time Food and water were both great and had a good strength training sesh yesterday afternoon and a 30 min run this morning. Tummy is feeling much better, only took me 3 days..
01/31 57.4 kg Is this real?! I guess 1 kg (2.2 pounds) loss in a week and a half is possible but I feel like I haven’t been that strict diet wise. Maybe it’s the significant increase in activity, but I’m worried I’m just bouncing up and down because of more or less water retention. I guess I’ll believe it if it sticks around for two or three days, but the weekend is coming up and y’all know what that means! No run this morning due to resting, but will get to the gym this afternoon.
02/01 57.4 This one stuck around! Super happy about that! I decided to not go to gym yesterday and rather take a full rest day. Did go for a 30 min run this morning. And did another body fat check using the home scale and the in-body analyser at the gym (results below). Overall very confusing and somewhat disheartening to see. The full report says I only lost water and muscle (hence the lower weight) but actually gained fat. So I want to be happy about the weight loss but if all I'm losing is water and muscle that's obviously completely missing the point. This is frustrating and sad and on one hand I want to shrug it off and say these things are inherently inaccurate and I only have the two data points, but on the other, one needs to track measurements using something. So I don't know. Maybe I'll try it out again at the end of the next round and see if any of the progress makes sense.

You’ll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. - John C. Maxwell
My goal for 2019 is to get into ONEderland. Changing my life.
Plans:
- Find workout routine that works (walk, bike, planks, yoga, swim, take advantage of retirement to be more active); target 70k steps per week
- Drink more water (target min 64 oz daily; start with 1 glass before coffee)
- Journal Food Daily (tracking with MFP)
- Daily Vitamins (Dr’s orders; need to not ignore)
- Drink less alcohol (4 AF days per week; ~16 AF days per month; limit 1-2 glasses per day)
SW: 245 (12/28/2018)
R63: 245 (+/-0)
R64: 243.3 (-1.7)
R65: 241.6 (- 1.7)
Round 66: My focus is not breaking my tracking streak since 12/28 and being active every day in some way shape or form! Get up out of the chair from work, reading or tv and MOVE! Retiring Jan 31! Goal is to break into the next decade and make it stick.
1/23 - 240.9 - Last couple of days focused on water and staying within my calorie goal. Using Apple watch to remind me to get up from the desk chair and move each hour in addition to the daily walk.
1/24 - 239.6 - A new decade!!! Remember to never ever return to the 40s … you don’t like it there.
Recumbent bike indoors 20 min when raining. Frustrating day brother/sister inlaws ended with DH & I out for Italian & wine. Never a good thing but the food is tracked and now moving forward.
1/25 - 240.7 - I saw the 30s but it was touch and go! Work celebration and enjoyed chips & guac though no alcohol. Not enough water or exercise. Did walk down 6 flights of stairs at work instead of using elevator.
1/26 - No scale @ hotel. Planned hike 3 miles with my son & his Fiancee to Mount Bonnel then Bull Creek. Today’s total steps 14741! Always left half my food on plate at restaurants.
1/27 - No scale @ hotel. Walked with DH 3.5 miles to breakfast before long car ride.
1/28 - 239.1 - Got out of the 40s! Proud of my better eating & exercise habits when out of town dining out every meal this weekend! I was determined to leave the 40s behind for my official Monday WI.
1/29 - 239.1 - It stayed out of the 40s 2 days in a row!!! Frustrating day yesterday not getting out of my chair at work (last day with my computer for people to ask questions or obtain my files before retirement) and interactions with my sister in-law. Win is that I did not snack when stressed!
1/30 - 239.9 - Barely but still out of the 40s! A few walks each over a mile. Dining Out group and stuck to my preplanning. Tons of water. No snacking. Today's challenge is my work retirement party at a mexican restaurant ... deciding on my strategy.
1/31 - 239.1 - Looks like the 30s are sticking! Salty chicken soup at the mexican restaurant yesterday and of course too many chips but otherwise a good day. Could have done better on the exercise.
2/1 - 237.7 - This is really working! Yesterday was my last day at work. Walked to the library to pick up a book 2.68 miles + rode indoor bike. Kept to my food plan. Today is first day of retirement! What to do? It’s the first of the month! Take my measurements and start making plans for Feb.14 -

I hit my “goal weight” around late November. I’ve managed to maintain around this weight since then. What I have realized though, is that I don’t think I would’ve been able to maintain without the daily accountability of this challenge. Thank you to @Grandmajackie and all of you contributors for the daily insights and commiseration. It makes all the difference in being successful at weight loss this time.End R40: 171 (-3)R66 SW: 145.5 EW: 144 (-1.5)

Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 - 145 – Back down again. I don’t have any real temptations (except for the full jar of candy bars at our office front desk) until this weekend. I’d like to drop a little before the weekend hits.
01/24 – 145 – I’ve done pretty well sticking to weight loss calories this week, so I’m hoping to see a little drop tomorrow.
01/25 – 145 – My husband and I have to grab carry out for supper tonight (we’re doing a lot of running around) so since I haven’t lost anything the past couple days, I’ll forego my favorite dish from the restaurant and order the healthier, lighter version.
01/26 – 144 – I’m a little surprised to see this because although I stayed within calories, we ate pretty late and I indulged in a shot of blackberry brandy to chase away the sub-zero wind chills we dealt with yesterday. @deepwoodslady and several others inspired me to shout a few dance tunes from the 80’s to my Alexa Echo and I danced around my kitchen for about 10 minutes while my husband showered. Maybe that’s what did it?
01/27– 144.5 – Today is my only day off and we have more running around to do today. Due to several issues going on right now, I’m going to do my best to stay within weight loss calories, but there will be a lot of eating on the run today.
01/28 – 145 – I made pretty good food choices yesterday, so the weekend fallout isn’t too bad compared to last week.
01/29 – 144 – I’m so glad to see this number on a Tuesday! I hope I can make it stick the rest of the week. I’ve been good avoiding all the tax season goodies that have come in the past week and are sitting on our lunch table. Here in NE Ohio we are preparing too for the -30 to -40 windchills over the next few days. I hope everyone else dealing with this stays safe!
01/30 – 144 – Holding steady. I had a very stressful event happen at work yesterday and my mind wandered to the jar of candy bars sitting on the front desk. Being mindful of the advice I’ve learned on this challenge, I told myself that a candy bar was not going to solve the issue and I really didn’t want it, I just wanted the distraction. So I took a long walk around the office instead. I will admit though, that I had a little extra wine after supper last night, but I kept it within my calories and it was worth it.
01/31 – 145 – Oh well, I stayed within calories yesterday, but I didn’t drink enough water and I had a lean pocket for lunch. It seems that when I eat processed foods, whether within calories or not, my body likes to retain water. I packed a healthier lunch today and will hopefully be down before the weekend.
02/01 – 144 – Back down again, yay! It was 9F degrees outside when I drove in to work this morning and it felt like a heat wave walking into my office. Although I have to work tomorrow, I hope everyone else has a good weekend! See you next round!
@Fraukazi – Have a wonderful holiday!
@Lilylady3k – Congratulations on your retirement!

trying to not let the back injury on 1/11 at work get to me
1/1 174
1/24 172.2 13 waters,10 min shoveling
1/25 172.2 14 waters, closer to calorie goal, retaining water still due to birthday celebrating that was days and my back injury
1/26 169.6 14 waters, within calorie goal, did some stretching, got enough potassium in, back improving
1/27 168.8 14 cups of water
1/28 168.6
1/29 not going to print out the weight today as there is a definite sodium and extra food inflation. Want to stay positive. May not put it in until it is better. Will drink more water tomorrow. Put a day together that is a let down day that is not IF, but in calories, so I can use when need a break. It is higher in sodium unless I can figure out how to do it better. Let's face it--I am around 800 mg a day in sodium daily and a couple 100 extra or more packs a serious inflation immediately, lol. I don't have this part down yet.....:). I did do some light, very light, snow shoveling. Tomorrow will be some more, but a bigger amount. My back is resisting some, so trying to go slow and easy. Needs to be done before work. Have to start early.
1/30 Didn't weigh. No time and didn't want to be possibly disappointed. Anyways did shovel for 40 minutes before work. Did great on calories. Drank a lot of water.
1/31 170 coming back down
2/1 168.8 yesterday good enough

@Winner_in_life - Good luck with stopping smoking.
We have snow today as well, (nearly a foot which is a lot of the SW of England) so no zumba or yoga classes; I will have to exercise at home!11 -
Female 55
Lost down to 180 doing lazy keto last spring, but the summer vacations came and then the holidays
and I put all of the weight back on. I am going to be consistant with tracking my food...good or bad...and
get healthier this year.
Starting weight on 1/9/19 203
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 198.8
01/24 198.6 Started IBIH soup diet yesterday. Usually go up a pound after day 1...so I'll take it!
01/25 197.6 1 pound down! I ate between 5 pm and 6:30 pm. Stuck strickly to the plan and drank lots of water.
13,000 steps. Just going to keep plugging along.
01/26 197.4 Well..at least it's going down, if only slightly. Had a rough day at work and had 2 glasses of wine last
night. 13,000 steps logged yesterday. Going to do my HIT workout today and go for a 3 mile walk.
01/27 196.4 Going down...I like it! Did my 3 mile walk, but did not do my weights. Going to brunch with family. Will make smart choices.
01/28 197.8 ugg...walked 6 miles yesterday and worked out with weights. My food was on track, but water was under. I'll just keep plugging on!
01/29 197.6 NSV..yesterday was Teacher Appreciation day. I walked in to free Chcik fil a in the teacher's lounge, a cart of donuts wheeled to my classroom and a luncheon. I just had a half a chicken breast and some lettuce and veggies at the luncheon and resisted all of the other treats.
I kept tp my plan in the evening and walked 11,000 steps. Not much scale movement, but I'm sure it will come.
01/30 196.4 Hoping this downward trend will continue!
01/31 195.8 Going down.....sloooooooowly.....
02/01 194.4 YAY! 4.4 lbs lost this round. I've never been a daily weigher, but plan on continuing the next round. Hope to keep this downward trend going.15 -
Round 64 SW 219 EW 213 not expecting another drop like this, but happy to report it!
Round 65 SW 211 EW 208.6 2.4 loss
Round 66 goal, 3 pounds
Day/Weight/Comment
01/23 208.2 fell of the wagon a bit last night, but I am back on and ready to go!
01/24 207.8 movin' right along
01/25 206.2 It has been a SUPER stressful week, and I have stayed on track, even made it to kickboxing twice... Yay me! I am going out to dinner tonight, and will indulge, but am confident that it will not derail me. TGIF!
01/26 207.8 I own it! As I said yesterday, last night was a splurge, and it was yummy. My son is working on a health project, and keep hearing him use terms like"good foods" and "bad foods" I want him to understand that You can be healthy, and still enjoy some sliders and fries once in a while, and not feel guilty! Also, that you are in control of your choices. I want him to see that I did not "blow" it, and that today, will continue to my journey of making good choices, and moving more. Weight/Shmeight....I am feeling pretty good right now!
01/27 205.8 Yay! kickboxing today, and shopping for the week. That's right! I was not derailed!
01/28 206 This is ok... I just hope it will be down a little bit again tomorrow. Kickboxed yesterday, walked, and stayed in my calories, definitely did not drink enough water.
01/29 206.2 Harumph
01/30 204.6 That's better! May have a snow day tomorrow.... always a challenge for me!
01/31 204.4... I actually thought I was the same this morning... but .2 is .2 ! Kickboxing tonight, and hopefully a good night's sleep. Having some issues with that lately, and I know from experience that it affects my progress.
02/1 203.8 I have exceeded my goal! I worked really hard this round! Onederland is in sight, but I know it is a stretch to try and make it in the next round... but that will be my goal. Great job everyone!16 -

That's a good one to keep handy, thanks @BethE238!
@Winner_in_Life It's easy to gain when we quit unless we find something to substitute that hand to mouth motion. My first few months I popped a whole lot of tic tacs and chewed a whole lotta gum. Been smoke free more than 10 years now. Definitely made it easier not to eat so much. Good luck friend!
Yayyyyy ~ stick with it @roscoe1998 !!! 💪💪💪
aaaahhhh @Lilylady3k what to do, what to do? The awesome luxury of my time is my own. I sure you're having a great day!! 🙏😃🙌 Enjoy retirement!
And CONGRATS to everyone (weighing everyday or not or losing weight or not) who finished just determined to keep trying to do better. What ever it is. We all deserve a pat on the back for that.
It's a Friday reminder happiness is an inside job ~ 😜 have a great weekend everyone.
