2/8 = I don't know because I'm traveling. I met my friend yesterday and while we went out to eat and a movie I ate WAY better than normal. I am sure I will have a gain when i return but I still can find the positive here!! Plus I made myself get up early and use the hotel gym.

@SarahG626, oh no! TMJ is terrible. I have to wear a mouth splint for it, which has been a sanity saver. When I went to the dentist because of this terrible pain and my teeth not meeting, he said, "This can be a big problem for people who are high strung. Are you high strung?" I think my hysterical giggle clued him in.
Sometimes, I find that sudafed (the real stuff) can help with the feeling. I don't know why that would be, but it can work for me. Avoid things that involve a ton of chewing of little pieces; things like popcorn or nuts or chewing gum or little candies or similar items. That can make it worse.

02/02 - 143.2 Yesterday went great! And this morning I was delighted to find myself even closer to my goal. Tonight might be challenging as I have a date. But I chose the skating rink because then I'll be getting active and I don't have to eat anything there (although I might, but I'll be sure to log!) And this guy is in recovery so I won't be drinking around him either. I think this should be pretty fun overall.
02/03 - 143.2 As of this morning I met my mini goal of 7 days in a row of yoga. Yesterday was challenging with food because I snacked instead of having meals and by 5pm I only had 130 calories left for the day so I went hungry on my date. We didn't go skating because it was too crowded and instead saw a movie. When I got home at midnight famished I had my last 130 calories. But overall I am content because I enjoyed myself and didn't break my calorie goal.
02/04 - 144 Yesterday was another great day. I enjoyed spending time with my roommate and went out with my friend. He got a bottle of this super delicious Cab called 19 Crimes, so I ended up over my calorie goal because I drank a few glasses. And even though the scale reflects my lapse in rigidity I'm not sweating it because I had a great time and I completed day 8 of yoga this morning.
02/05 - 143.4 I think I'm doing a lot right. I hope I continue on in this way. I just ordered a fitbit flex 2 on Amazon this morning. It will be here on Thursday. I'm hoping the will encourage me to be more active, take more long walks. Yoga is still going well though!
02/06 - 141.8 I woke up super dihydrated this morning, so I'm guessing this huge jump is due to that as I didn't do anything special yesterday. Or it's some kind of delayed loss, which would be great! Or it's a combination of the two, which would also be great! Today is my day off so I'll be cleaning all day. Super excited to be up and moving so much! Haven't completed day 10 of yoga yet so that's on my aggenda after breakfast 🙂
02/07 - 142.6 So yesterday I did my yoga and made sure to drink plenty of water. I'm not surprised by this number. I take it as a win!
02/08 - 141.9 y'all I'm feeling great! I feel like a data scientist with my new fitbit. Studying my baseline movement and sleep. After a week studying my baseline (til the end of this round) I'll start implementing my movement routine. Then I will be able to compare my pre and post results! I'm excited y'all!

Trying new things hoping to push past plateau because have been stuck between 215 and 218 for a few weeks now. So far meeting goal number 2 only by adding minutes of goal number 1, but getting closer!! Goal 3 being met within T25 workouts started on Monday so yayyyy about that.

02/02 176.9 A drop to start the round. All good. Three mile walk in the sunshine and a delicious portion controlled dinner made for a very nice night. Today and tomorrow will be limb collection and breakdown time. Probably won’t walk both days. The yard work will be enough. Happy Saturday all.
02/03 177.6 I was within calories yesterday but only because of a little yard work last night. I’m ok with it. I knew this would be a small loss after the last round. Woohoo roller coaster up
02/04 179.1 And we keep going up, but I had a VERY high sodium day yesterday with some Asian food. I did walk and do the day2 week2 of C25K, this time without stopping once so I'm happy with that. I also spent a couple of hours in the yard chopping up limbs. My shoulders and arms are sore from doing it. I thought I was working a lot of those muscles going to the gym but apparently not the ones that involve dragging huge limbs across the yard. Just have to stick to the plan.
02/05 178.5 Down is always the right direction. I am so happy to be in the 70's. I mean I'm not thrilled to be at a higher number than I was 3 days ago but I'm in a good place. I got in three chilly miles yesterday. I was going to go 4 but I was under dressed for the weather. I didn't realize the wind was gusting at 500 mph. I was so cold I almost did only one mile, then almost stopped at two miles, and I threw in the towel at three. I could not get warm all night after I got home. Turned on the gas fireplace and ran others out of the living room trying to get warm. Ended up taking a bath to finally feel warm. Woke up to freezing rain
02/06 179.1 Up again, but TOM is here and probably part of this little temporary hump in my roller coaster. I don't know how it can still sneak up on me, but alas it did... again... I only did 45 minutes at the gym last night, I was worried about the weather and left. It was sleeting. It stopped a little after I got home but this morning my neighborhood was a skating rink. No walking outside tonight - I'm headed to the indoor gym. I should do C25K day3 week2 today but right now I'm not feeling it. It may be one of those slow 3 miles but I got them in so don't look at me like that nights.
02/07 179.1 I think I will be down to my goal by the end of the round. I did not go to the gym last night. I went home early because it was sleeting again. It was a weird night, we had a house shaking thunderstorm but with freezing rain. I am so lucky to have job where I can work from home on days like today. I really want to get to the gym tonight. It will depend on the roads, otherwise maybe a cardio video? I don't know. Five days to lose the stupid water weight...
02/08 179.2 I was under in calories yesterday but the only exercise I did was laundry and cooking dinner. I didn't leave the house. I haven't walked since Monday and I can tell. I went to the gym Tuesday night, nothing Wednesday and Thursday. I feel terrible. Sitting around all day yesterday was not good for me. It was 9 degrees this morning when I cleaned off the car to come to work. Weather will NOT derail me. Even though it's Friday night and I got paid I have to go to the indoor gym to walk after work. No questions asked. I realize now that my body needs that, my mental state needs me to walk maybe more than my body. How can I be this old (months away from being 50) and just now realize how much better it makes me feel???

@laurenhugs23 fitbits are awesome! Although sometimes I feel like it's mocking me with the sleep thing. After DD (2.5yrs) has kept me up half the night, having the app telling me I only managed 3 hours sleep makes me feel like screaming 'Yes, I know!!!' hahaha7

I just spent 15 minutes looking back over challenge notes from September, when my weight first dropped into the 170's. On the surface, the carb eating at first was from stress. Then the full realization of losing almost 80 lbs in a year. That really did scare me. I wanted to slow down the loss, so eating some keto forbidden carbs did not concern me and it wasn't daily. Then through the holidays, I had just a few goodies on hand for my family. I did enjoy 2 oatmeal cookies😁 January has always been when I gain weight and this year's unusual cold just made me want to eat. I honestly still do not crave anything usual like sweet and salty, but I do like crunchy. I figure that is my new crave on keto, because I don't eat anything crunchy. Radishes and celery don't fit the bill. Crackers, pretzels and once in a while chips. NONE of these junk foods taste good to me. They taste like pasty flour. Chips taste like rancid grease unless they have an added flavor AND they upset my stomach. They all are just crunchy. This is a very odd craving to battle. I had not been taking my B vitamins since early January and I think that's the reason for wanting the grain carbs. I started taking the B's again 3 days ago. I have to take them with food because they upset my stomach. Of course, when I remembered to take them it was bedtime when my stomach was empty, therefore, the chocolate truffle eating (they were on the table next to the vitamins) because I definitely do not want chocolate. Yesterday, I took them with my meal. I've been contemplating all of this for a while. I'm ready to move on now. If you took the time to read this "ebook" Lol. Thanks.8
