Start Weight on 1st Jan '19
Starting - 158.50lb
End R64 - 154.90lb - Round loss 3.6lb - Loss to date 3.60lb
End R65 - 149.90lb - Round loss 5.0lb - Loss to date 8.60lb
End R66 - 149.90lb - Round loss 0.00lb - Loss to date 8.60lb
Disappointed with the last round as didn't feel the scales accurately reflected my 10 days. Going to try and change up my diet a bit this round and try and get out walking a bit more (already do 10k+ steps a few days a week so going to try and achieve this every day) along with keeping up my weekly swim one day a week and twice weekly gym PT session. Here we go!!!!
Round Target - lose 1.50-2lb
02/01 - 149.90
02/02 - 149.00lb (-0.90lb) Yay - off to a good start. Was a good food day and also walked 13k steps yesterday too - more of the same then I guess
02/03 - DNW - 10,561 steps
02/04 - 150.40lb - AARRGH!!! Back up we go again. Hoping this is just the weekend taunting me....... Found this pretty easy last year, but not so far this year ? Not doing anything really that different (have gone back and looked over my food diaries - is it that "(peri)-menopause thing" that makes it so much harder ? May investigate this a bit more.....
Didn't have my fitbit on yesterday but was busy all day cleaning and doing housework (builder are still going!). Planned walk later for the school run and then another one later on too. Hoping to see a drop tomorrow
02/05 - 149.90 down 0.50lb today but back to this number AGAIN! Fourth time in two weeks I've seen this number and would love it to be the last! Did my planned walks yesterday (14K steps in total) - unlikely to be so many today but will get in what walking I can and I am also at the gym tonight for an hour. Food all planned for today, will aim to drink more water as been a bit lax on that front recently and hope tomorrow sees another drop - anything less that 149.90lb - please!!!
02/06 - 150.40lb - here AGAIN!!!! Beginning to think my scales may be stuck in some horrendous loop
8,020 steps yesterday plus a weights session at the gym so that was all good and so was my food (I thought). Decided last night to go back to one of my earlier food diaries when I was losing weight relatively easily and repeat it today and see what happens...... I refuse to give up though - 5 days left of this round to crack it! Also planning a walk later after work .....
02/07 - 149.50lb down 0.90lb - OK this is good, heading in the right direction and my scale didn't stop on 149.90 again! Did my 10,000 steps yesterday and my food was spot on. Food planned for the day and will also be at the gym tonight for an hour - I shall continue my quest .....
02/08 - 148.70lb down 0.80lb - ok this is better. 7500 steps yesterday plus a tough HiiT session at the gym. No change in calories consumed but was grabbing convenience foods like bars or shakes for breakfast rather than preparing something (lazy I know!). As a result eating less overall carbs and more protein? Could this be the answer or at least part of it......
02/09 - 147.60 down 1.1lb - ooohhhh exciting - and continued to stay away from the meal bars / snacks and had a high protein lower carb day (still had an apple, we had (wholemeal) wraps for dinner so still eating carbs). Got in my 9k steps so a good day. Off for a swim now Have a great weekend people
02/10 - 147.30 down 0.3lb - feel like I'm back in the groove now! Actually made progress this round although it is Sunday so roast day (all within calories and macros but just a big diner late in the day) - will try to minimise the carbs that I have (although still need a couple of roast potatoes obviously!) as hopefully finish this round well
02/11 - 148.00 slightly up from yesterday but not unexpected - usual Monday morning "gain" after our family roast dinner on a Sunday night. Also walked 14k steps yesterday. Finished the round 1.9lb down so very happy with that as weight didn't seem to move for quite a while - bring on the next round
See you there10 -

05/02 So I am just back from my holiday in Gran Canaria, I missed Round 66 due to the holiday and being ill, still a little unwell but had some weigh in details on my trend app so have taken the figure from that. Big swing today is from very sodium-laden pizza last night as got home later than expected and I haven't had a chance to meal prep over the weekend since I got back, just easing back into it this week, as always struggling to get back into a routine. So trying to focus just on averaging calories over the week this round. I will get back into my fitness routine next week when I am feeling a little less run down.
06/02 Good day calorie-wise but low on protein, will bring the average up over the week. Took my bike out for it's first spin to work yesterday - didn't die - so that's an NSV for the week I have my pole dance class this evening and a lot of walking to do today from work then to/from pole class which is about 10km in all.
07/02 Yesterday had a very active day 10km of walking (with a little jog also), 2 hour Pole Therapy Class and about a further 3000 incidental steps on top of that, seem to be back in the swing with my deficit again, need to get back to my macro focus next week.
08/02 Had a terrible night's sleep last night which has resulted in me being ravenous today so going to try and volume eat at dinner and bulk out my meal with as many veg as possible. Still feeling DOMS from pole class, a little uncomfortable but in a good way. Probably TMI but whilst I've been ill my BMs are all to pot which could also be a reason for the lack of movement on the scale, can't blame the scale batteries, changed them yesterday
11/02 This is the first really lazy weekend I've had in ages and it was awesome, still I was 2100 calories under my goal for the week and got a little bit of strength training in yesterday afternoon. Think I may have to head to the doctors later this week if my ear, nose & throat infection still hasn't cleared itself as it's been at me for almost 3 weeks now.10 -

Day/Weight/Comment
02/02 Unable to weigh. Arrived back home this afternoon so I will weigh in again tomorrow morning.
02/03 11st 5.0lb Very happy with this...now to be careful as I have been invited out to my daughter's house for the day including lunch
02/04 11st 5.8lb Well, some weight put on. It was difficult to estimate the food I was given but I refused a pudding which was 333 calories! My son on law opened a bottle of champagne which only he and I had - he had bought it for us to share on New Year's day but as my daughter was not well, I didn't go there. I ended up drinking 3 glasses of that...fatal.
02/05 11st 5.6lb Ate just under mfp calories and none of my exercise calories which were higher than usual. Hopefully it's water retention which has kept my weight up - I had some crisps before bed. I treated myself as my net calories were quite low. Bad idea.
02/06 11st 6.2 Again - ate under my mfp calories and none of my exercise calories. No salty foods and ate nothing in the evening. My neighbour brought me round some flavoured water which had nil calories! However, I had a long session at the dentist having a root canal treatment and my face was swollen still in the evening, so maybe that contributed.
02/07 11st 5.4lb Finally going back down. Eating at 1200 only gives me a deficit of 200 from my maintenance level, so ignoring the first 300 exercise calories is the only way to get a 500 deficit, and I don't get that many exercise calories every day.
02/08 11st 5.4lb Happy to have stayed the same today - weighed this morning, only just found time to post it
02/09 11st 5.0lb Pleased to see I'm back to this weight after 6 days of fluctuations.
02/10 11st 5.0lb I'll take that, though it's time to drop lower. According to Libra, my trend is so slow I'll not reach my target weight until 2021!
02/11 11st 4.0lb Looks good but it's because I was so busy yesterday I didn't eat until the evening and so my calorie intake was lower. I couldn't even complete my diary.11 -

Round 65 SW- 220.6 EW- 218.0 (-2.6lb)
Round 66 SW- 218.0 EW- 212.6 (-5.4lb)
Total loss so far: 8lb
Round 67 SW- 212.6lb
Round 67 GW- 209.6lb
Day/Weight/Comment
02/02- 212.6- I had an alright day yesterday, 2000cals eaten and 13600 steps, so I came away with a deficit. Aunt Flo came to visit today so I'm alright with my weight staying steady.
02/03- 211.4lb- whoo! 550cals yesterday, 9900steps. Over the last week I averaged 12,000steps a day, very pleased with that. We have my sons class puppet staying with us for the week so we are going to treat him to a cinema trip today, a large Diet Coke for me. My partner will cook enchiladas for our tea tonight, already looking forward to it X
02/04- 211.2lb- 9500steps, 1300cals, no popcorn, yay! On the down side we got to the cinema and then we realised we'd left the class puppet at home...not so good. Today is miserable and rainy here so I'm opting for staying at home and cracking on with housework, fun fun fun, I will have to make sure I stick to my calories today so I still come away with a nice deficit X
02/05- 210.6lb- I did very well yesterday with eating, managed to stay within my fasting limit. Steps could of been better at about 8000. Today's goal is to stay under 1700cals, I'm going to eat a fulfilling breakfast before going and doing our weekly food shop X
02/06- 211.4lb- Did well yesterday, stuck to my calorie goal, quite a salty day so I'm not surprised by the bump up on the scales. Today is a fast day and trying to get in plenty of steps and maybe even a workout video after kids have gone to bed though my thighs and bum are still aching from Monday's attempts!x
02/07- 211.4lb- 24,500 steps yesterday, 700cals, a very good day. On another note though my new scales have come and confirm that my current scales are out by quite a bit 😓. I will wait until the end of the month to swap to them completely as I'm on the biggest loser challenge and don't want to mess up my numbers there but then il have to take the hit of about a 10lb increase...not good but ultimately for the last month I have still been exercising and eating well, none of that has changed, just the number on the scales. Still can't help but feel a little de-motivated by it though, I feel like I have to do all of January's work again X
02/08- 212.0lb- not too good of a day yesterday, ate to just above TDEE, not many steps.
02/09- 211.6- 15,000 steps, 800cals yesterday, I am still feeling motivated, I would like the scale to shift a little more over the next few days X
02/10- 213.2lb- not many steps yesterday, made poor choices with eating and was over on calories by quite abit, still was accountable though.
02/11- 212.8lb- 900cals yesterday, 8500steps, was abit dissapointed to end on this number, my average daily cals over the last week were 1400cals so I know I'm eating at a deficit, will hopefully see more of a drop next round.

02/08- 61.65 - all week I've over-eaten sugar. The table of temptation at work has been bursting with cakes and I've indulged! I think it has been made worse by not enough sleep! 4 days off now so time to get back on track before the end of this round.
02/09- 61.60 - no snacking in the evening but had lots during the day
02/10- 61.45 - slowly heading back to where I was last round. Resolution for next week - back to the running, weights & yoga. This week I just did step and netball.

Day/Weight/Comment
02/02 – 144 – I had a very stressful day at work, culminating with the office landlord deciding to change out the ceramic tile in the lobby right outside my office door. 4 hours of a jackhammer banging on tile. I couldn’t leave because I’ve got 9 corporate tax clients sitting on my desk. After I gave the owner a piece of my mind, he sent the workers home for the day. When I got home, I took my cue from @deepwoodslady and played some heavy metal music on my Alexa and danced while I did dishes. Although I can see the irony, that music can really relieve some stress and I burned some extra calories.
02/03 - 144 - I'm sick again with a chest cold and so my husband made some good homemade food for us today. My weight will probably be up tomorrow, but it will be worth it.
02/04 – 145 – No surprise, I had less than 2000 steps in yesterday since I spent a good portion of the day in bed. The good news is that I’m feeling better and am able to come into the office. Back to the food logging, water, and steps.
02/05 – 145 – I was hoping all the water I drank yesterday would get rid of that pound, but I should know by now that’s not how my body works. A former co-worker is stopping by the office today with samples from her cupcake business. I am budgeting my calories for ONE mini cupcake. I’m posting this to keep myself accountable, because her cupcakes are incredible.
02/06 – 144.5 – The weight is slowly heading back down. I did manage to eat only one mini cupcake yesterday.
02/07 – 144 -
02/08 – 142.5 – I think my scale got “stuck” on this number this morning. I'll believe it if I see it again tomorrow. I’ve still been sick the past couple days with bronchitis and although I ate very little on Wednesday, I made up for it yesterday. I went to the Dr. on Wednesday and got some antibiotics, so I’m hoping I’ll keep getting better and be able to start getting my steps in.
02/09 – 143.5 – This weight makes more sense. I’m still coughing, but I’m definitely feeling better. We have a catered lunch at the office today and I’m making spinach lasagna for some friends and family tomorrow. The sodium alone will probably raise my weight over this weekend, but I’ll eat lightly the rest of the weekend to minimize the damage.
02/10 - 143 - I know this won't last for tomorrow, but it's nice to see.
02/11 – 142.5 – I have come to the conclusion that I will never figure out when my body is going to gain and lose weight, especially water weight, and I will have been logging and tracking daily for a year next month. See you next round!

Lost down to 180 doing lazy keto last spring, but the summer vacations came and then the holidays
and I put all of the weight back on. I am going to be consistant with tracking my food...good or bad...and
get healthier this year.

Day/Weight/Comment
02/02 194.2 Had some wine last night, but kept everything else on plan. Did not get any excercise. Today is a beutiful day, so my goal is 15,000 steps.
02/03 194.4 Walked 5 miles around the lake yesterday. Had some wine last night but stuck with my keto foods and was within my calorie count.
02/04 195.4 Walked 6 miles, fasted until 3, but apparently the cheese and nuts got me. Back on IBIH soup plan for the work week.
02/05 196.2 Don't know how I
m up, but I'm just going to keep plugging along.....
02/06 194.8 NSV I walked into our faculty meeting yesterday to a table full of chips, dips, snack mixes and king cake. I avoided all of it and just sipped my herbal tea. I've stuck with my plan and got 12,000 steps yesterday. Would like to see my hard work reflected on the scale....
02/07 194.6 so slow.........Hoping for a big drop in a few days. I'll just keep plugging along...
02/08 194.6 Still no movement. Walked 13,000 steps yesterday and logged 1100 calories. My body does not want to give up this fat!!!!
02/09 194.2
02/10 194.4 I hope I end this round at a lower weight than I started. Still plugging along......

02/03 - No scale today. Registered 12,573 steps
02/04 - 170.5. Did 5k+ steps. Ate above calorie limit but it's Chinese new year's eve. Lots of food going around.
02/05 - 169.7. 5k+ steps. Danced 30 min. Went to a bday dinner but roughly kept the day's consumption below 2,000kcal.
02/06 - 169.2

02/08 - 168.7. Ah, the sweets have made their presence known. Tomorrow is another day.

SW on 01/18/19: 326lbs
GW: 234lbs (temp goal)
Round 66 Start: 323.5 End: 318
This round covers my pill break (02/01-02/08), due to PCOS I can have a lot of water weight increase. I'm willing to eat up to maintainance some days, if needed - basically giving myself extra leeway to cope with period cravings!
Day/Weight/Comment
02/02: 319.5lbs (+1.5) - Happy enough with this, ate pretty much right to my calorie goal yesterday and I think this may be around my actual weight.
02/03: 319.5 (+0) Yay for consistency.
02/04: 318.75 (-0.75) Going the right way, surprised as I'm feeling bloated as hell today.
02/05: 317.75 (-1) Wooshing! Feel like death today though.
02/06: 318 (+0.25) Happy enough, staying stable, and feeling better today again. Fish and chips tonight for my brother's birthday, will be nice! Babysitting my nephew too for a couple of hours.
02/07: 318.5 (+0.5) Earlier weigh and a gigantic meal last night, within my calorie goals though so should all even out. Yoghurt with fresh banana and a cup of tea for breakfast though, should start my day well without being too heavy. Expect to be down again by the end of the round. Had a lovely time yesterday though!
02/08: 314.5 (-4) Period was probably hiding my loss. My actual calorie deficit currently puts me at a 1.5lb/ week loss, possibly moving enough to make ~2lbs a week. Not sure how much water a person can have to lose for this whoosh! I did weigh twice to check. Very nice to see!
02/09: 314.5 (+0) Seeing this two days in a row is amazing. Nearly 12lbs since my starting weight, 14.5lbs from where I've been sitting on average for a while/where I was after Christmas, 21.5lbs from my heaviest. Having lost a stone from where I've sat for so long is an amazing feeling. Overdid it yesterday, but I don't want to overeat, because I know I'm getting there. Pretty happy overall!
02/10: 316.5 (+2) Would've liked to be the other way, but not worried. Still achy today, I've noticed my pain can seem to link with slight increases before.
02/11: 316.5 (+0) 2lb loss recorded today for the last week, for my weekly weigh-in.
10 day change -3lbs! See you all tomorrow for round 68.11 -
Keeping up with intermittent fasting 16/8.

Day/Weight/Comment
02/02 – 216.8 @ 6:00 am
02/03 – 217.6 @ 6:00 am. Up over the past two days, but lost inches since last measuring so not worried yet.
02/04 – 217.2 @ 6:00 am. Boringest SuperBowl EVER made it easy to keep moving and stay within calories.
02/05 – DNW
02/06 – 216.0 @ 5:30 am. Looks like I’ve hit another plateau. Been between 215 and 218 since January 8th
02/07 – DNW
02/08 – 215.4 @ 6:00 am. So far meeting goal number 2 only by adding minutes of goal number 1, but getting closer!! Goal 3 being met within T25 workouts started on Monday so yayyyy about that.
02/09 – 214.9 @ 6:30am – such a tease …. prayers its sticks.
02/10 – 215.2 @ 5:00am – did it to myself. Worked out more than an hour, but didn’t eat enough calories or drink enough water on top of being a carb heavy day yesterday. Need to make better choices today.
02/11 – 215.0 @ 7:00am – finishing minus 1.8 pounds
GOAL RESULTS
1. Meditation/smeditation ..... no time and 0 effort this week!
2. Technically failed at meeting my goal (3/7 days) but averaged 70 minutes 7 days .... AND hurt my foot in the process!!! Mayo Clinic diagnosis seems to be Metatarsalgia so hoping rest and ice repairs the injury today or tomorrow and won't slow my progress too much.
3. Started a 12 week shred on 2/4 and have officially lost 2.2 pounds and 3 inches in a week!! so super pleased about that. Definitely look and feel leaner so happy to confirm developing muscle is the reason the weight is slowing down.
See you next round ~ Good luck all!8 -
So, here's my info!
5'3", 61 yrs. old, heaviest all time weight 198 (can we just say 200-ish?) 40 years ago! Got to and stayed around 155, and I feel like I've been on a constant weight battle my whole life! Aug. 2016 I decided enough was enough and took MFP seriously -- and got to 122! I felt GREAT! I am determined to get back there. I know how great it feels to just be lighter.
Current goal: To actually complete one of these 10 days challenges!
02/02 133.7
02/03 133.5 -- a small improvement (ha!) but I will take it. Superbowl food coming up... oh no! Does anyone just else eat the top off of pizza? (smile!) I'm taking lots of good veggies, low cal guacamole Trader Joe makes a great one with yogurt), fresh fruit, and yes, brie... I just want to be 133.anything again tomorrow.
02/04 -- did not weigh in
02/05 -- 135.0 After no sugar yesterday, and a 75 minute poweryoga class last night, done in 95 degrees (so hot! Felt great btw) I weighed in this morning at 135. Imagine what yesterday would have been! UGH -- that Superbowl party did damage. I'm going to stay on this no sugar thing....that will be my challenge to myself this week. 133, I miss you (smile!)
02/06 133.7 -- Yay! Great relief!! I woke up feeling lighter, and knowing that it was going to be at least a pound down.... now I hope I'm heading to the 120's. I am on day three of no sugar... not as hard as I thought it would be (yet!) I'm eating eggs for breakfast, raw zucchini and veggies for snacks, and lots of greens with baked chicken or grilled fish for dinner, herbal tea (I'm on a Yogi Green Tea and Blueberry kick lately) and a glass of red wine (always!). Hope to get in a poweryoga hour tonight.
2/7 133.7 -- no change. BUT -- I'm six days in, and I'm still here! Only four more days to go, I'm still sugar free (except for the wine -- is there sugar in cabernet? ) and I'm feeling lighter. Skipped yoga tonight for a long walk with the dog. Had a mix of steamed broccoli and cauliflower tonight for dinner and it was delicious! Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow.
2/8 133.7 -- no change again -- and another day of no sugar.
2/9 133.7 -- YET AGAIN! This is getting hard now.... and yesterday, I totally had sugar -- FOUR of those little sea salt soiree dark chocolate bites from Ghiradelli -- but I'm back to no sugar today!
2/10 - 132.6 this morning. Keeping this short and sweet -- Yippee! More importantly, I'm actually completing a 10 day challenge! This works!
2/11 -- 132.6 -- no change! I'll take it...yesterday was hard -- lots of temptations, and I succumbed a few times! (Trader Joe's has landmines -- er tasting stations-- all over the place!) Plus I was planning on a yoga power hour, and then just wimped out. Made a beautiful baked wild salmon for dinner and had it with lots of greens and pineapple salsa (15 cals./tbsp! Thank you Trader Joe's). See you guys in the next round!9 -
@mamarh and @quiltingjaine -- thanks for the mentions! It's good to know there are other pizza top eaters! LOL! And mamarh -- it truly has taken me decades! But it is a battle worth winning -- as I said in one of my posts, the feeling of lightness and health is worth it all. Thanks for your support!5

You’ll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine. - John C. Maxwell
My goal for 2019 is to get into ONEderland. Changing my life.
Plans:
- Find workout routine that works (walk, bike, planks, yoga, swim, take advantage of retirement to be more active); target 70k steps per week
- Drink more water (target min 64 oz daily; start with 1 glass before coffee)
- Journal Food Daily (tracking with MFP since 12/28/2018)
- Daily Vitamins (Dr’s orders; need to not ignore)
- Drink less alcohol (4 AF days per week; ~16 AF days per month; limit 1-2 glasses per day)
SW: 245 (12/28/2018)

R64: 243.3 (-1.7)
R65: 241.6 (- 1.7)
R66: 237.7 (- 3.9)
R67: 237.2 (-.5)
Round 67: My focus is to continue tracking streak, drink more water and be active every day in some way shape or form!
Posting weight each morning, and comments for the previous day.
2/2 - 237.4 - walked 1+ miles 3x, bike 12 min, steps 12873, 80oz water, track, V, AF; Developed a schedule for daily/weekly routine for the first 4 months of retirement that includes exercise every morning and then weekly - meal planning + grocery list, anti-procrastination projects, vacation planning, gardening, culling through boxes of pictures, spanish lessons etc. Setting the time aside.
2/3 - 237.5 - walked 2.5 miles before brunch, steps 12373, 80oz water, track V, AF; Wonderful brunch which included Chantilly cake to celebrate my retirement. I believe this is the last celebration but of course will not be the last food challenge in 2019.
2/4 - 236.7 - walked 3.5 miles, steps 12171, 80oz water, track, V, AF It was a good day.
2/5 - 237.4 - walked 2 miles, 15 min bike, steps 13601, 48oz water, track, V, AF It was a good busy day. Don’t get discouraged that the scale went up … keep focused.
2/6 - 237.8 - walked 2+ miles, yoga, planks, hand weights, gardening, steps 14056, 64 oz water, track, V, AF. Snacking and 2nds on pasta were my downfalls.
2/7 - 236.7 - walked 4+ miles, 15 min bike, steps 15560, 64 oz water, track, V, AF. Felt like I accomplished a lot today. Anti-Procrastination Day!
2/8 - 236.3 - walked 3+ miles, yoga, planks, hand weights, steps 13843, 80oz water, track, V, 2 glasses wine. Bunco and held it together. Helps that the hostess is doing WW and everything was healthy/low cal.
2/9 - 236.5 - walked 2+ miles, 15 min bike, 12279 steps, 64oz water, track, V, 2 glasses wine. Busy day dealing with finances for retirement, etc. Feel like I’m accomplishing something each day since beginning of my retirement Feb 1 but the scale is moving SLOW. Don’t get discouraged! You will be back in the Capris in no time … and then shorts!
2/10 - 236.7 - Lazy day no exercise. 4473 steps, 64oz water, track, V, AF. Lots of reading and sitting by the fire unfortunately snacking involved.
2/11 - 237.2 - walked 3+ miles, 12149 steps, 64+oz water, track, V, AF. Disappointed that it went back up after 4 days.10 -
I figured out how to copy a note on my iphone. But can’t figure out how it is pasted and how you add it on here on your last post. My weight today is 132.4. Thx for any help. Joan6

Hi-I’m Karen
Sept. 2018 OSW 187
I am jumping back in late because I have been caring for my dad after his knee replacement, and we are in the process of moving. I am home now, and will take my scale with me when I go back to my dad’s house. I have missed you guys!💚
2/9-165 I’ve been good and careful at my dad’s house. I was hoping to still be in the 160’s. I made Beet Kvass (easy)and drank some yesterday.
2/10-165-We ate Mexican food out and I ask for a burrito on a plate with no tortilla....it is still salty though.
2/11-168-A swoosh up after eating heavy food. I leave to go back to my dad’s today and will take my scale .8 -

02/02 / 177.6 / Didn't work out.
02/03 / 176.2 / A miracle. I did work out, but wasn't expecting to see this on the scale. Today has not been great calorie-wise though, so I'm expecting a bit of an increase tomorrow.
02/04 / 177.4 / Completely expected. Today's a new day. I will get back on track.
02/05 / 177.6 / Surprising.. not because it's a gain, but because it's less of a gain than I thought it would be. I have not been doing well this round as far as calories and working out are concerned. I think that my motivation is faltering. I will eat right today, and I will exercise when I get home. I've come too far to stop now.
02/06 / 177.6 / I did meet my calorie goal yesterday, but I didn't work out. I have an injury that I'll have to work around for a couple of days. I'll just have to find a different workout to do. I want to be down to 175 by the end of this round. Hey.. it's possible.
02/07 / DNW
02/08 / 177 this morning / It's not a gain, but I'm sooo anxious to lose some more weight! I've been stuck in 177 land for majority of the challenge. In other news, I bought some fun new stuff to work out with. I'm officially about to start working on my musclesss...

02/01 180.8
02/02 181.6 Sigh. In the past year, I’ve made very little progress. I’ve lost 10 lbs, then gained five and lost and gained those same five for eight months. To tell the truth, sometimes I wonder why I log and report on this site. Truthfully, the reporting reflects my effort. It’s not like I’ve watched every morsel or even made great strides with exercise. In the end, I suppose, keeping track has stopped my monumental weight gain in its tracks and that’s something. I have 50 pounds to lose, gained over years of raising kids, job and marriage stress and just plain having too many birthdays. While the actual weight loss has been a failure so far, I’m going to count my of my issues and stopping the rolling weight gain as a win. In April, I will start a new MFP year, let’s see what I can do by then.
02/03 180,6 Bouncy, bouncy bounce.

02/06 179.8

02/09 180.2 New determination today. Got results from knee tests. Some degenerative arthritis, bulging meniscus, fluid on the knee. No surgery required. Well … osteoarthritis runs rampant in my family, especially among the girls. Being the youngest, I have witnessed much, so now I have new incentive. I’ve been reading everything I can lay my hands on about osteoarthritis and I am ready to take action. Apparently, losing 20 percent of your body weight significantly relieves arthritis pain. For me, that is 34 pounds. I am going to double and triple my efforts, starting today.
02/10 180.6
02/11 180.2 BAD breakfast choice this morning. PB&J sandwich with a regular Pepsi (I know ... yuk!). It is so obvious that when I sleep poorly, I make poor breakfast choices. I need to set up a plan that guards against this.

02/02 176.9 A drop to start the round. All good. Three mile walk in the sunshine and a delicious portion controlled dinner made for a very nice night. Today and tomorrow will be limb collection and breakdown time. Probably won’t walk both days. The yard work will be enough. Happy Saturday all.
02/03 177.6 I was within calories yesterday but only because of a little yard work last night. I’m ok with it. I knew this would be a small loss after the last round. Woohoo roller coaster up
02/04 179.1 And we keep going up, but I had a VERY high sodium day yesterday with some Asian food. I did walk and do the day2 week2 of C25K, this time without stopping once so I'm happy with that. I also spent a couple of hours in the yard chopping up limbs. My shoulders and arms are sore from doing it. I thought I was working a lot of those muscles going to the gym but apparently not the ones that involve dragging huge limbs across the yard. Just have to stick to the plan.
02/05 178.5 Down is always the right direction. I am so happy to be in the 70's. I mean I'm not thrilled to be at a higher number than I was 3 days ago but I'm in a good place. I got in three chilly miles yesterday. I was going to go 4 but I was under dressed for the weather. I didn't realize the wind was gusting at 500 mph. I was so cold I almost did only one mile, then almost stopped at two miles, and I threw in the towel at three. I could not get warm all night after I got home. Turned on the gas fireplace and ran others out of the living room trying to get warm. Ended up taking a bath to finally feel warm. Woke up to freezing rain
02/06 179.1 Up again, but TOM is here and probably part of this little temporary hump in my roller coaster. I don't know how it can still sneak up on me, but alas it did... again... I only did 45 minutes at the gym last night, I was worried about the weather and left. It was sleeting. It stopped a little after I got home but this morning my neighborhood was a skating rink. No walking outside tonight - I'm headed to the indoor gym. I should do C25K day3 week2 today but right now I'm not feeling it. It may be one of those slow 3 miles but I got them in so don't look at me like that nights.
02/07 179.1 I think I will be down to my goal by the end of the round. I did not go to the gym last night. I went home early because it was sleeting again. It was a weird night, we had a house shaking thunderstorm but with freezing rain. I am so lucky to have job where I can work from home on days like today. I really want to get to the gym tonight. It will depend on the roads, otherwise maybe a cardio video? I don't know. Five days to lose the stupid water weight...
02/08 179.2 I was under in calories yesterday but the only exercise I did was laundry and cooking dinner. I didn't leave the house. I haven't walked since Monday and I can tell. I went to the gym Tuesday night, nothing Wednesday and Thursday. I feel terrible. Sitting around all day yesterday was not good for me. It was 9 degrees this morning when I cleaned off the car to come to work. Weather will NOT derail me. Even though it's Friday night and I got paid I have to go to the indoor gym to walk after work. No questions asked. I realize now that my body needs that, my mental state needs me to walk maybe more than my body. How can I be this old (months away from being 50) and just now realize how much better it makes me feel???
02/09 179.2 I hate doing updates on my phone. I typed this once already and lost it.
02/10 178.2 Baby whoosh, hoping to see another. Walked three miles in the cold Friday night and another 3 on the indoor track yesterday. I need another 3 at least to stay on track (haha) today. High of 37...
02/11 176.8 Whoosh!!! I had hope I'd be back down. I got my three in yesterday. It was chilly but not bad. I did my week2day3 of C25K. I felt really good about it. I'm walking today but not doing the next one, just a regular walk. I'm a little anxious about week3day1 because it's run 3 minutes. I'm sputtering after 90 seconds of running now. Oh well if it takes me a couple of tries to do w3d1 that's ok as long as I do it. I'm going to really watch my sodium today. I do NOT need a little jump up due to water. If I see any loss this round I'll be happy, if I beat my modest goal I'll be super happy.

02/02 - 328.8 - It was gain, but fluctuations happen.
02/03 - 327.4 - I'm happy with this. It's less than where I was a week ago.
02/04 - 327.2 - Woohoo. Inching down. Every little bit counts. I didn't do my strength training yesterday, but I did do an episode of Zombies, Run!
02/05 - 326.0 - Woot wasn’t expecting this big of a drop as I didn’t get as much exercise in as per usual. Looks like my body needed the day off.
02/06 - 325.8 - It's another tick in the right direction. I took a chance and put on a pair of a smaller pair of jeans than I have worn in awhile and they fit! I'm ecstatic! I didn't do either of my exercises yesterday. I did reach my step goal of 5,000. Today I have my pulmonary rehabilitation where I will get a workout in as well. It'll be a busy day.
02/07 - NO WEIGHT - I woke up with five minutes until I had to leave. So I woke up, dressed, didn't even stop to feed the cat on my way out. I went to pulmonary rehabilitation and worked my rear end off. I did treadmill, arm crank, NuStep, leg press and arm weights. I'm still walking during commercials now that I'm home. I have a longer walk to and from the bus due to the city doing something to the street right in front of the stop I usually use. I'm already well past my step goal.
02/08 - 323.6 - Woot! Did not expect this! I admit, I don't trust it yet. So, we will see what it says in the morning or two mornings. I did walk over 18,000 steps yesterday and stayed within my caloric goal. Today was a bit disappointing. I'm making positive changes, but for some reason my HDL has had dramatic drop. Hopefully it will recovering. But on the plus side of the day I walked from home to Transitions without needing to stop!
02/09 - 323.0 - I guess it's for real. Woot woot! It means I can likely fit into some of my older clothes that I lost the ability to wear over a year ago. I only walked over 8,000 steps yesterday, but still count it as a good day.
02/10 - 322.6 - Yahoo! I just feel so elated to see consistent drops. It’s not what I expected. Tomorrow I have a major weigh in with my dietitian. She has never seen me this small. I admit there are some nerves about it. Blessed be.
02/11- 321.4 - WHOOSH! Did not expect this! Yesterday I hardly did anything; it was my rest day. Today back into the the stuff! Yay! I am nervous. Today I go to see my dietitian and PCP today. We'll see what they have to say about my recent numbers.9 -
