Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 - 201.2 (4296 steps) Monday was a halfway decent day. No exercise. It was pouring rain so I skipped the grocery store and went to Wendy’s for a "drive-by dinner". Grilled Chicken sandwich and apples slices. Small bit of LNS but I was in bed early. Still pouring rain today. Hope to have the energy to grocery shop and meal prep tonight after work. Ugh!
02/13 - 202.0 (7461 steps) 34 minutes on the bike (7.03 miles) Tuesday I made it to the grocery store (both of them) and did not have any gumption to do any meal prep. It was pushing 7pm by the time that I got home. I do plan to do some tonight. Usually, once I get going, it goes pretty smoothly. I am so ready for summer and warmer temps plus being able to walk outside. This weather just makes me want to hibernate and eat! Bad combination
02/14 - 201.4 (7072 steps) 39 minutes on the bike (8.04 miles) Wednesday I did do SOME meal prep. I did 2 meals with shrimp and couscous (those are for home b/c I don’t want to stink up the office) and 3 meals with steak, brussels sprouts, and blue cheese (2 for work and 1 for home). I still have 4 pork chops that need to be cooked and I might make some Knorr Rice Sides to pair with those. That should get me through the weekend.
02/15 - 199.4 (7069 steps) 27 minutes on the bike (5.73 miles) I had planned to do more but next thing I knew it was after 10pm. I survived the office potluck AND a surprise family dinner at Applebee’s. My goal is to attempt to see a ONE on tomorrow’s weigh-in too. I seem to see it only 1 day and then it’s gone. Small steps. My overall trend since 1/1/19 is going down. I’m happy to see that.
02/16 - 198.6 (7086 steps) Friday was a good day. Work meals were light so I was able to treat myself with Jimmy John’s. I skipped the bike and went to bed early.
02/17 - 198.7 (7553 steps) I rode 2 horses at the barn yesterday for about 1hr 15mins worth of exercise. My eating was okay until after dinner. I binged on cheese. OMG I love cheese! I was exhausted so I went to bed at 7:30. That probably saved me from really going off the deep end.
02/18 – 197.5 (2656 steps) Sunday was a VERY lazy day. My back was killing me so I spent most of the day on the couch. Luckily, I did not find myself snacking all day and stayed within my calories.
02/19 - 199.8 (2945 steps) No exercise. Monday my back was killing me so I stayed home. I was doing decent on my food until Grandma called and we ended up at the ER with her. 6 hours waiting there and then eating my stress did me in. I wasn’t over too bad but I was very inactive.
02/20 - 201.6 (4813 steps) 😔😔 No exercise. I know this is probably my stress and eating since Grandma has been in the hospital. Not how I want to end this round but tomorrow is a new day.

2/20 - 174.4 - Early weigh in. Second evening of eating dinner late and stayed up late waiting for a pot of soup to cool down a little before putting it in fridge. Snow today, schools and daycare closed, that means I'll get to talk to my grands on a video call😀
My gift for being on keto one year, besides the fat loss, was...

I have been truly blessed by the Almighty Father. I prayed for a way to lose the weight I had gained and was granted the answers through spiritual guidance. He has made my journey easy. I seek his guidance, praise him and thank him every day, all day. I've been cycling around the 170's for 6 months. I've learned some new things about myself. I've always been a patient person, but I have become even more so. I will break through to a new decade, when the time is right.

02/12 201.4 yay.
02/13 201 I need to get to 199 by 2/17.... If I do, I will win the challenge at my gym, and get a free month of classes, and 1/2 my money back. I am so close!! Although, I have to admit, for some reason my brain eliminated the 200 and I was thinking one more pound... but it's 2 UGH!
02/14 200.4 getting there....
02/15 200.4.... yesterday was rough... valentine's day treats, and I forgot to go to the gym... let me repeat that... I forgot to go!! I did do a little Jillian Michaels at home though...so I guess that's good.
02/16 200.8 ugh.
02/17 200.0.... I saw it... I saw the ONE.... and then it flickered away, and settled back on the TWO.... my scale is taunting me!!!!! LOL !!!

02/20 199.0 I won my gym challenge! I kind of came home and when of the rails a bit, but I am good now. The Valentine's Day candy had to go anyway LOL. Heading to NYC for the weekend with family, will be difficult to stay on track, but I will not let it bring me down long term.

Hi, My name is Joan. This will be my first round.
Age- 60 years young.
Height-5’3 1/2”.
OW-156# - Oct 2016
Hit Maintenance goal weight -125#- June 2017.
I set a goal weight range of 125-130, for myself. My weight’s been creeping back up. Jan 2019-135. I Do Not want to regain weight lost as I have in past; because I feel SO good at lower weight!
I just can’t let that happen!
This challenge sounds like just what I need.

2/12-131.6. First drop in 3 weeks! “Happy Dancin”
2/13-132.4; slept crappy last night. Did the Nighttime snacking thing. But not out a control. Still under my daily cal limit. Gotta stay on plan with my eating today. My weakest is when I’m very tired and not feeling well.
2/14-132.6, weighing daily is stressing me right now. Been working hard. Hope to see a better number tomorrow.
2/15-133.0– scale is making me crazy!!! Absolutely no good reason for going up! But Im determined. Im going to do a alternating daily calorie goal to hopefully break this plateau and work on getting my water in better. IF is not an option nor Keto for me. One positive, I was so ticked this morning; I did a 45 min HIIT workout before coming to work.
2/16-131.2!!!! Go figure. Still going strong. I will succeed
2/17-130.4!!!! Now , that’s a reflection of my hard work, YES!

02/19- 211.2 Family emergency. Spent the whole day in hospital ER. Skipped lunch, overate @ dinner.
02/20- 209.2 Another family emergency has arisen, so I might not be back tomorrow to finish. I definitely won't make my weight loss goal, but I should definitely be lighter than when I started. Good luck, my friends.

2/12- 175.8 Try to stay under calories and doing weights at the gym.
2/13- No scale I did not end up going to the gym last night. I did not eat a regular breakfast/lunch because of driving and meetings. When I got here my blood sugar was low and I was shaky, so I ate an early dinner and went for an indoor walk instead. I can do the gym tonight, though the weather is so nice I might just walk again. As long as I'm moving I feel I'm going in the right direction.
2/14- No scale I walked in a lovely new place called Tower Park. Got in a little over 3 miles. It's been awhile since I've done 4 it's been too cold or too dark. Ate well yesterday though sodium is high because I'm eating out every meal (work travel). I don't have a scale but my hands are a little puffy so I know I'm retaining water. I'm going a day early due to bad weather tomorrow morning so back to the scale and regular food. I think I should be able to stop and walk a trail along the Missouri river. I've done it once before and it was awesome! Maybe a pic tomorrow... Remind me not to be sad when my scale has an outrageous number on it.
2/15- 177.1 I knew it would be up due to sodium and 4 hours sleep. I feel good about yesterday. I ate within calorie goal and walked 3.5 miles. I did get to go to the fantastic trail. When I got there it was 57 when I drove away an hour and ten minutes later it was 39 and the wind was biting. I did get some cool pics I put below. The first you can barely see the entry of the tunnel all the way to the right, then in the middle and finally the other side. I also did C25K Week3day1 without stopping. I was straight up panting but I didn't stop.
2/16- 177.2 wrong direction...
2/17- 178.1 Another crappy day. Bad weather yesterday and today. My only exercise yesterday was shoveling the driveway.
2/18- 179.0 I know it has to be water. I haven't been over on calories in days. I walked 3 miles yesterday and trust the process.
2/19- No scale I am on the road again. I was over yesterday. I went over calorie goal by 421. I never do that but I was stuck in the car for 7 hours and when I finally stopped to eat I was starving. I didn't eat enough veggies or get enough sleep. Not feeling my best self. I'm not going to have a scale until possibly Friday depending on how the trip goes.
2/20- No scale Stayed within calorie goals and walked 3.25 miles on the hotel dreadmill. Work today then hit the road around 3:00 for another 7 hour drive then I'm home for the rest of the week! At least this week I'm traveling with my bf instead of alone. We both travel for our jobs a LOT and it's rare we can go together. It's also more challenging to stay within calorie goal though he's very supportive. It's not that he actively tries to sabotage me, it's just that we eat in more interesting restaurants. Today's challenge will be the drive. It's so boring and easy to snack. I don't expect a loss this round. I've lost 6.1 pounds in the last 20 days, that's a big loss. I'd be thrilled to be where I started but I'm a realist.

Goal: finish day 25 of the 30 days of yoga challenge; walk 8,000 steps a days; start jogging (maybe?)
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 - 140.4 lbs ; yesterday went great! I walked 8,000 steps and completed day 15 of yoga, ate just under calories.
02/13 - 139.4 lbs ; yoga and10,200 steps yesterday ☑️☑️ Super excited to be in the 130's. I can see my goal in sight. I have started taking a long walk after lunch to go get a diet 7-up at 7-Eleven, it's working as motovation!
02/14 - 140.8 ugh back up to almost where I started. I just can't regain that .2 lb. Yesterday I did fine with food but I was very sedentary because it was pouring rain, so I didn't go for a walk and I had the day off. Tonight I have a date, as it's v-day. I'm gonna have some Thai food. So actually I probably will gain back that .2 (plus more). But that's ok I want to enjoy myself. But I will still do my best to track.
02/15 140.0 lb suprised by this loss, but I'll take it!
02/16 140.0 lb. Yesterday was such a challenge. I was so tired from the night before. I have been really failing my step challenge because of this constant rain.
02/17 140.0 lb. Well I seem to be at a stand still. I thought I did everything right yesterday. I walked 10,000 steps ☑️ I completed day 21 of yoga with Adriene ☑️ I ate just under calories ☑️ I drank water ☑️. I call it all a win and I'm proud of myself. I predict these last 5 pounds will be tricky to lose. I might need to start jogging to really see results.
02/18 138.8 lbs ‼️oh yeah I was more than ready for this whoosh. So grateful! Three hours before bed I drank like 32 ounces of water, so I'm going to keep doing that to see if that helps with my water retention.
02/19 139.6 lb. Kinda disappointed to see I'm back up almost a pound. I did a long difficult hike yesterday, and I thought I would see a dip in the scale. Is it normal to not see the numbers go down the next day? I'm trying to stay positive. I drank my 32 oz of water before bed last night, ate within my goal, and did my yoga.
02/20 138.8 lbs
Oh yeah back down! I'm ready to finish strong! I did 10,000 steps and I sprinkled in some jogging during my long walk to see if I could do it. And it felt fine! The only thing is I was wearing too many layers and I quickly over heated with no where to put them. So now I know when I am gonna jog to only bring a light jacket/sweater. But that was a great NSV. Today I plan on doing my yoga and after lunch I'll do another jog/walk. I love feeling so healthy!

Been a year since I've last committed to this and now the weight has come back with a vengeance. Well, so have I!
Trying out some new exercises (signed up for rock climbing!) this time, hopefully everything goes smoothly. Thank you for starting this thread
Note: I weigh-in in the mornings for consistency, so my comments will be more or less about the day before. Cheers!
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 -132.0 Rock climbing 2.5hr, jogging 1.5mi, small cool down core workout. Was good with calories until roommate tempted me with a homemade muffin ... it was delicious!
02/13 - 131.6 The crazy snowfall yesterday (weather warning in effect) coupled nicely with my rest day. Things outside are clearing up now and I've got no excuses on that front.
02/14 - 132.6 Whooo I blame this totally on the simply atrocious amount of snacks brought into the office today (someone got chocolates for the team!), and the fact that I had to stay in the said office until 7pm got in a good 1.8 mi run and some core workouts though so it wasn't all too bad. Also modified the rough GW, 3 lb seem much more reasonable
02/15 - 131.8 Was feeling kinda down due to our monthly office "Mix-and-Mingle" event - ate some pretty unhealthy stuff But what the heck, at least I didn't have any alcohol (the calories in those things!). Had a nice long 2.5hr rock climbing session, made up 2 lvl 9 climbs that I couldn't before, and killed a lvl 8 that was giving me a hard time earlier this week . Went home and supplemented the power workout with a 2mi run and quick 10min cool down core exercise.
02/16 - [ski trip, no weigh-in]
02/17 - [ski trip, no weigh-in]
02/18 - 131.6 phew! What a trip. The hills were chunks of ice after the bouts of freezing rain we've been having, but I'm glad to have gotten in one more trip this season. Glad to be home!
02/19 - 132.8 darn! I guess that's what I get for sitting on my butt for two days. Hard to get motivation to move when it's that time of the month. It's also a mental block, I suppose, when this round is getting close to the end and I'm back at where I was at the beginning! Got a nice run planned for today though, and thinking about it makes me feel slightly better.
02/20 - 131.0 How did this happen? I thought the scale was off but I tried a few times and there it was. Maybe I'm closer to my goal than I originally thought

Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 - 322.6 - Eh. It's a fluctuation most likely from water. I don't mind it as long as it doesn't become a trend. I'm trying a new worksheet that my dietitian gave me to go off of for this week and see how it goes. It is designed to maximize my nutrition or my calorie intake. Overall I am feeling stronger, better, and more energized. I'm good and for the first time in a long time I can say that and mean it.
02/13 - 322.0 - So, yesterday was a rough day. I had a binge, small, but a binge and I was fine until I saw the numbers, then I wanted to purge. I cried and just saw myself ballooning to 600 lbs and more. Ed was screaming in my head to purge, purge, PURGE. Instead I spent the day doing self-care. I ditched the exercise as I couldn't trust myself to not take it to an extreme, so I rested. I hooked (crocheted) and made progress on my heart scarf that I am making just for me. I decluttered my tables in my living/dining/exercise area. I spent time snuggling with Alex the Mighty (see profile picture). I watched shows that I enjoyed on Hulu. I went to bed at a decent hour.
02/14 - 322.4 - TOM hit! 2 weeks late, but finally hit. This isn't that uncommon with PCOS. Feeling bloated and kinda blah today. I worked really hard in pulmonary rehabilitation today. I have three more sessions and then I'm done. I will graduate into my insurance's program for health in a gym. I get to choose between Planet Fitness and the YMCA. YMCA is within walking distance and Planet Fitness is just a short hop away on the bus. So, not sure which one I'll go with. I'm nervous about today. I'm going to a potluck and going to try and not freak out if I eat more than I should. So, yeah.
02/15 - 323.8 - Well, I guess the potluck got to me. I did overeat. I have no idea the total ingredients. I thought I did okay. Also with TOM no idea where my weight will finally end up being. My official weigh-in is coming up. If it is a gain, it's a gain. I'm not thrilled with the idea, but I'm getting comfortable with being okay with it. It is a part of life and my choices. I had an emotional moment this morning and had more milk than the dietitian has allotted for me to have according to this worksheet. It's lunch time, and I am going to have a nice, savory salad with grilled chicken. Life will be just as okay with gains as with losses.
02/16 - 320.4 - WHOOOOSH! Well tomorrow is my official weigh-in. I wasn't expecting this loss. We'll see what tomorrow says. I ate well yesterday. I hit most of my protein goals. That is my weak spot in my diet is hitting my protein. I can get the others just fine. I need to find ways to incorporate more protein in. I also did two episodes of Zombies, Run which was fantastic! I wasn't feeling beat down by the end of each episode, but pretty good. I'm getting stronger each day. I might try to do two again today and some strength training.
02/17 - 319.6 - Yay! I mostly stuck to the dietitian's guidelines yesterday. I had more dairy than is on the sheet. I'm doing better with finding protein choice; so that was higher yesterday. I did two episodes of Zombies, Run! yesterday. It's definitely got my attention at this point in season; it's been interesting since the first episode but lately, just wow. I may end up doing a couple of them again today to find out what's going on next. I had to do them in my apartment as there was people in the community room; so my cat spazzed and started to dart about the apartment. It was cuter and hysterical at the same time.
02/18 - 317.4 - WHOOSH! I was still over on dairy yesterday, but for the first time I hit my protein goal. I should be able to repeat that again today. I did another episode of Zombies, Run! I got my water back in order. I have a couple of appointments this afternoon, one with my psychiatrist and one with my therapist. I need to clean on the apartment a bit. I feel good today.
02/19 - My therapist and I talked about the thing of numbers and my eating disorder yesterday. I am not giving up the scale completely; however, she does want me to give it up completely feeling that it is very triggering if it doesn't say what I want it to say. To her it just hasn't let me down big enough yet to cause an issue, yet. I have agreed to reduce how often I weigh. So, I will weigh for now, three times a week, Sunday, Tuesday, Friday. So, no weigh in today, will weigh in tomorrow.
Yesterday I did okay with food and had a little treat even and stayed within in my calories ( this will also change on being tracked, if possible). I did good with protein again, which I'm super happy about as it really is the weak spot in my nutrition.
*EDITED TO ADD* I just realized it IS Tuesday. It's too late in the day to get an accurate weight. I'll weigh-in tomorrow.
02/20 - 317.2 - Woohoo. Still moving down, bit by bit. As this is my last weigh-in I have lost 4.2 pounds this round. Not bad. I'm getting the urge to go ahead and weigh in one more day tomorrow just to even it out, but I won't. I'm going to stay strong and dedicate myself to ALL the goals that are geared at my total health. There's no point in losing weight if my mental health suffers.

02/18-302.0 Well I didn't think I'd hit this goal so soon. 12 pounds off this week?! Are you kidding?! Woohoo!
02/19-301.8 Didn't sleep well last night so I took a nap after taking the kids to school. Now my whole day feels behind. I missed breakfast and I am so behind on my water for the day. Hoping I can catch up.
02/20-299.6 Yesterday ended up going really well. I ended up missing my last 32oz of water but I still managed to drink 96oz! I managed to eat enough despite the late start. Went over a little on sodium but nothing too bad. SOO excited to be back in the 200's!! I'm not going to amend my goal since tomorrow is the last day of this round but I am so glad to see such a change over the last 10 days!

2/12: 19x.x - Didn’t weigh today. Missed you all! Dropped off at the end of last round. Was out of town and flights were cancelled coming home. Back again - ready to get back to my health routine. Hope I didn’t gain too much while away - I made healthy food choices, and didn’t have more than 2 drinks a day, but didn’t track at all!
2/13: 19x.x - Forgot to weigh again 😩 Still stuck in the snow. Not meeting my goals. I am getting back to it tomorrow! Gah! Scared to step back on the scale.
2/14: 193.6 - Phew! Was so nervous about weighing after the last week. It could be worse, and I know I am retaining a lot of water right now from TOM. Maybe I actually lost weight on my trip 😱.
2/15: 191.2 - Happy dance! I am now in the “overweight” BMI and not “obese class 1.” Kids go back to school today, husband comes home from work trip, gym here I come!
2/16: 190.6 - I have now lost 20lbs. Only 50 (+/-5) to go! I keep a list of different types of milestones and it’s really motivating to cross them off as I go. Crossing 2 off 2 days in a row feels unreal.
2/17: 189.4 - New decade! I hope to never see the 190s again
2/18: 189.6 - Too much salt, not enough movement. Glad it’s the start of a new week - easier to stay on routine on weekdays.
2/19: DNW - The day before was a good day, stayed on track
2/21: 188.8 - Busy day yesterday with the kiddos yesterday, stayed on track for evening

Day/Weight/Comment
02/17 It’s 5:26 in the evening and I weigh myself in the AM so I’ll report on that one tomorrow, but I’ve decided to do this because I’ve been eating unhealthy while sitting on the couch recovering from foot surgery. We will see how it goes!
02/18: 154.4
I overate by 450 calories but I’m trying not to beat myself up too bad considering the amount of exercise/walking I can do is pretty much 0. I haven’t gained as much weight as I thought I had. My broken foot happened in Dec 2017 and my surgery wasn’t until Dec 2018 thanks to insurance so I feel like going from 129 to 154 is bad but not as bad as it could’ve been after being a virtual couch potato for a year and a literal one for two months. Yes I was walking on a broken foot for a year, people seem shocked by this but it’s true. Here’s to LESS overeating today!
02/19: 154.0
Ok so it’s probably just water weight but I’m going to take it as a win to keep me moving in the right direction. I only overate by 225 calories yesterday, so big improvement from the day before! Unfortunately both the weight loss and my lack of appetite may also be because I’m getting sick and I feel hella bad. All the same I’m going to try to do even better today and just drink lots of fluids and rest. Best wishes everyone!
02/20: 153.6
Yay! Only overate by 42 calories. It’s been my habit to snack throughout the day so now I’m just switching some out for healthier options and switching to water (minus the morning coffee and the bedtime hot tea with no cream or sugar). Not seeing physical results and I know I probably won’t for a while (esp since I can’t do much aerobically) but I am feeling emotionally good.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

2/20- dnw my youngest turns 3 today but just like his 1st and 2nd birthdays he is unwell! Poor thing was up half the night with croup! This meant I was up until 2 and then up at 6 as his brother was up and wanted to do cake and presents! So with all that going on I just didn't have a chance to step on the scales! Off out for a run when husband gets home from work, food going well, haven't even eaten any of the birthday cake! So I'm hoping yesterday's number sticks!
Sending hugs! I HATE croup. It's awful! Hope your little one is feeling better soon and you all get a better night's rest tonight x

02/12 – 162 – There goes the bloat of the last few days, yay. Did not go to the gym but made it through the day OK yesterday. Draggy again today but don’t have to go anywhere except drive DH to work.
02/13 – 161.8 – No gym today as still feeling off, although much better. Will get my exercise shoveling out the car so I can go pick up DH. Glad our driveway is short.
02/14 – 162 – DH brought home chocolate. My cals. were low for the day (at that point) and did not eat it all so was only a tiny bit over.
02/15 – 162.2 – Feeling back to normal. Caved and bought some fancy ice cream yesterday which made DH happy. I had ½ cup which I can manage and keep within cals. The trouble is the cravings that starts – maybe I should do a “test” and see how many days it takes of not caving till the craving goes away, lol?
02/16 – 163.4 – Well, there’s the chocolate and ice cream. At least I have 6 days to beat it back down.
02/17 – 163.4
02/18 – 162.8 – Off to the gym today. Seems like forever since I’ve been there.
02/19 – 162.2 – Good workout yesterday. Just did my usual but have some sore muscles today – shows what a 1 ½ weeks of no exercise can do. Just feel so much better.
02/20 – 162.4 – Gym again today, up early to take DH to work so I’d have the car. Managed more movement at home yesterday. It’s odd but the more I move, the less poor food choices tempt me.

@wellnfree It is a Permin design. They have several like this. I bought it online from a UK vendor crosstitchuk.com Have fun I know what you mean about being haunted by a design I have sworn off buying any new projects this year as I have enough for many years to come - but there is one I keep returning to look at.4

Day/Weight/Comment
02/12: 204.7 Having one of those days that I want to eat a *lot*. Which means I’m not hungry but want to keep eating. But I’m fighting it and so far so good. Thankfully this doesn’t happen often.
02/13: 203.7 Back on track today. I’m 10 lbs down from my original start weight. Yay!
02/14: 203.7 Thank goodness cravings are gone. I’m happily skipping the candy this year. We had some at work and I was able to say no.
02/15: 203.0. Feeling good. Going to have some temptations tomorrow since we are going to visit relatives out of town. I’m just going to plan for a little extra calories and get right back to my healthy WOE the next day.
02/16: 203.4 Ate some peanut butter which I know always moves the scale up a bit.
02/17: 203.7 Visiting family and indulged a bit. Back to it today
02/18: 203.5 Eating better and tracking all food.
02/19: 203.0 I realized its not good for my WOE to have a cheat “day”. I can have 1 cheat item once a week, but having too much upsets my stomach. I like to plan on a cheat item on Saturdays but I don’t do it every Saturday. So far this is working for me.
02/20: 202.3 Yay! Made my goal weight for this round. Plan to keep going in this direction. Feeling good about my food choices.

Drink at least 64 oz of water a day
Walk 100,000 steps during the challenge
Day/Weight/Comment
02/12 159, not a great start to Round 68. I think my salt intake over the past few days caught up with me. Today is another day so I am not going to be too discouraged. I ordered Plated for this week and the calories count are really high, especially for my height and intake. I made their Steak Quesadilla yesterday and the serving size was 960 calories. I cut my portion in half so calories were within the 1360 I could eat, but I was still very hungry. I order from meal subsciptions around once every month, but took January and December off because of the holidays, so this was the first time I have cooked with them on a diet.
45 minutes of exercise, 11,771 steps, 64 oz of water
02/13 158, good drop after eating well yesterday. It's raining heavily today so hoping to make it to gym after work. Officially no longer obese, just overweight so pretty happy to see 158. My next mini goal is 157.6 (15 lbs down) and hope to get there soon!
45 minutes of exercise, 7386 steps, 76 oz of water
02/14 158.5 up a bit, but ate really well yesterday so just will trust the process and see where the scale goes this round. It rained heavily yesterday and it looks like the rain will continue to Friday. I am hoping to get at least 5000 steps in so that I can make up the difference later in the round. Most of my steps involve walking outdoors and running errands, so the rain hinders that ability.
45 minutes of exercise, 10,168 steps, 64 oz of water
02/15 157.4, new low and 15.2 lbs lost. I know tomorrow I will be up a bit since it has been a back and forth round, but still proud of an overall downward trend.
45 minutes of exercise, 7348 steps, didn’t track but probably around 35 oz of water
02/16 158.2, expected this number with the way the round is going and it seems like splurge days or carb heavy days show up a couple of days after. I ate well yesterday, but didn’t get to my steps or water goals (drank a lot of diet soda and coffee). I will drink a lot of water today to compensate for yesterday
60 minutes of strength step class, 15,672 steps, 72 oz of water
02/17 157.8, I went out for sushi last night and think I ate ok. I had two spicy tuna rolls and a side salad, but that was my lunch and dinner. I still feel very thirsty so there must have been a lot of salt or I am just more thirsty around my period (which starts on Wednesday). I’m going to track my period on Fitbit this month and it will start giving trends after 2 cycles.
9823 steps, 64 oz of water, 60 minutes on arctrainer
02/18 157.4, getting closer to that 156.x number that was my goal. I feel like I am losing motivation this week (longest I have ever tracked or exercised regularly), so just focusing on staying positive and realizing that any loss is better than none.
35 minutes of exercise, 13,530 steps, 64 oz of water
02/19 157.4, feeling pretty optimistic about diet today and have a lot more energy since I slept well. I currently am a member of my local YMCA (close to my home) and Equinox (close to work and heavily discounted bc corporate). I love being a member of my local YMCA since so community focused/walking distance to home, but have been a bit frustrated with machine time maxed at 35 minutes during high frequency times-- 45 would be ideal. I have even gone various times from 5-8pm and it is packed. I feel selfish since I love that people are trying to get healthy, like me, but it isn't a great experience to see every machine taken and a 20 minute line in Jan/Feb for a 35 minute workout. Vent over haha! Will try YMCA today at 4pm see if that makes a difference.
35 minutes of exercise, 10,960 steps, 64 oz
02/20 156.6, new low number and hoping that I see a 156.x number tomorrow! I don't think I will get to the 155 number by the end of the month, but honestly that was a stretch in a month with only 28 days. Just taking it a day at a time.

About me: 62, 5'7", hit maintenance in March 2018 but, typical yoyo, currently bouncing way over original goal weight of 130.
GOALS THIS ROUND reporting on all the "yesterdays":- under calorie goal 9/10 days: 6/10 so far
- over 8K steps 9/10 days: 6/10 so far
- three strength workouts: 2/3 so far
- four cardio workouts: 3/4 so far
2/11 for continuity - 135.4
2/12 - 132.6 - under calories yesterday. Whew, it was food and water I was carrying lol! Was not feeling well yesterday so light on steps.
2/13 - 132.4 - way under calories yesterday, my fitbit didn't sync till the last minute! Yesterday 10K steps and a 25 minute video workout: heart rate was high and muscles are sore, so I can't decide if it was cardio or strength
2/14 - 133.2 - bounce expected. Under calorie goal, 8K steps.
2/15 - 133.4 - under calorie goal yesterday, 11K steps, and I RAN 2.5 MILES. With the dog in the rain.
2/16 - 132.6 - under calorie goal and 10K steps. Got to get with my plan about actual workouts though! Still, super happy about how my mini goals for this round are motivating me to do that little bit extra.
2/17 - 133.2 - yesterday under calorie goal, 11K steps, 30 minute rowing workout.
2/18 - 132.8 - yesterday over maint calories, only 3K steps. Cumulative bad sleep got to me.
2/19 - 134.0 - gah! Yesterday over maint calories, but 10K steps and a nice sharp bike ride. Weekends are hard!
2/20 - 134.2 - double gah. Yesterday noon, got in a small strength workout, enough for some solid sore muscles, and a short walk. But just gave up at and after dinner, so tired I wanted to cry and put my face in the food and didn't stop. Went to bed at 7:45 and got 9.5 hours of real sleep. Not sure what all the extremely tired thing is lately, but I know that when I am super tired I really mess up on food.
The good news: Still reporting, still logging even if after the fact when my choices are less than optimal.
