I have never thought of it that way when showing them in photos. I like that idea, I really do! Thank you xx
It really does bother me sometimes when people tell me that they can’t lose any weight because they can’t/don’t have time to work out.
It’s true, because of my body, every bit of this has been done with zero exercise. It really can still be done no matter what.12 -

You are a fantastic testament to what consistency and determination can accomplish And a reminder to the community that there are tons of ridiculously successful people on MFP just quietly going about their business, losing weight and being awesome.9 -

There are so many new posters that come on here saying they have 100+ lbs to lose, but can't exercise and are convinced that they have to to lose weight. That's why your testimonial is gold. It gives them hope and your photos show proof that it can be done.10 -
This is super inspiring to me. You've lost almost as much as I weigh, I can definitely lose my excess!
You look fantastic1 -
You are taking charge and taking your life back. Way to go!2

Yes you can lose your excess! I won’t sit here and tell you it is easy, it’s not. Some days I just wanted to cry and give up on it all. It was too much for me to lose, I could never do it! But oh boy was I wrong and I’m so very happy to have proved to myself just how wrong I was.
I have learnt so very much not only about nutrition, healthy eating, portion sizes etc. but also about myself in general. I am nothing like the person I was at my biggest. I am loving the new me also. Even the kind of music I once listened too has changed. I felt constantly like I had to just be quiet and do or like what others said. I believed I liked those things my whole life.
My biggest change that I kringe but also sadly laugh at, that would be my new taste in clothes. I always thought I loved the clothes I wore. No! I hate them, I only told myself that because of the lack of any other option.
And the changes in me keep coming 😊
You got this! No matter what, you CAN do it. I’m happy to help support you if you like. Just add me 😊22 -
I am so glad you were able to do it. I have struggled with my weight all of my life and I am trying once again to make the changes I need to in order to live a little better. I was 509 at my heaviest and over the last couple of years I have gone on and off diets and gained and lost. Presently I am in the ballpark of the mid 440s. Transformations like yours give me hope. I recently cut basically all sugar out of my diet. It has been my downfall so many times in the past and I have decided enough is enough. It has done wonders for my cravings.
I hope that I can be as strong as you and stick with it. I can only imagine that you are a hero to everyone who reads your post, especially whose who are or have been where you were.
I am pulling for you and I wish you all the best as you lose those remaining lbs.4 -

Congratulations on your loss so far, it’s sure not easy at that weight.
Having a sweet tooth is a hard thing to beat. So is what is called a fat tooth. Yes we get addicted to fats just the same and also find stopping them is very hard.
The only real fat I have now is 3/4 of a slice of bacon (our bacon is different to American bacon) and one lightly fried egg every morning. I very much enjoy it and it gives me the fats I need to help with my stones. The rest of the day I eat very little if no fats as it’s just not really in most of the foods I like.
Feel free to add me. I’m never too far away if you want to chat or are having a bad day.
I’m currently totally bed ridden, but today weighted in at 2lbs lighter. So it can even be done when down and out for a while.7 -

Your journey is an inspiration! #1, you supply the best argument ever to people afraid that they can't lose weight without sweat-dripping workouts; and #2, I was particularly touched by how much you see your tastes and your views of yourself changing as you go.
Thank you for sharing your story, and all the best in reaching your goal!3 -
Congratulations...what a lot of work!! You look amazing. I wish my brother (maybe close to your starting weight) could
somehow find the motivation you found.1 -

Obviously I don’t know your brother, his age or his story. But one thing I do know for sure, it doesn’t matter what or how many times he tries. If he isn’t ready and he hasn’t hit HIS rock bottom. It won’t happen. Yeah he will lose on all kinds of diets. But it will go back on with extra as soon as he stops. So it is not until he is ready to actually stop dieting, that his life will change.
You are more than welcome to show him my photos, tell him my story. You can him send him the links to my YouTube videos when I upload.
Early March I will be away for a week in a Different state. We have to go and bury my mums ashes with her parents in another state. Mum past away last November 1st. But as soon as I get home, I will be putting my story on YouTube and then following the rest right through and past the skin removal surgeries.
But it will be able the whole journey. Both good and bad. The first will be about what happened the day I hit my own personal rock bottom.
I really hope your brother can see his and get whatever help he needs as soon as he is ready. I’m here if he wants support 😊7
