This is why I don't buy Ben & Jerry's anymore. I used to live off the Heath Bar Crunch and whatever the cookie dough one was years ago before all the new fancy flavors.
And then there was the quart of American Idol (I think it was Breyer's) birthday cake flavor. OMG, the frosting in it!
Halo Top/Enlightened/Vons version/Ralphs version do right by me now and I only eat them a few spoonfuls at a time.3 -

Same. For me a serving of ice cream is an entire pint, lol!2 -

Interesting how it really seems to be luck of the draw with these and the mcdonalds sticks. I did the same thing someone else did, I didn't realize the sticks were only breakfast and they weren't serving anymore.
@missperfectpitch thanks for the review, I was wondering how those "lighter" B&J pints were. The core pints sound good but I've found a lot of ben and jerry's seem to be disappointing for me, so I'd hate to waste the calories. I much prefer other brands because I feel like they taste creamier/richer and just better in general. B&J just has the awesome add ins and names that intrigue me, haha!0 -

Literally coming out of lurking to say: Tillamook ice cream is amazing. It really does taste richer/creamier than other ice creams. My favorite are Marionberry Pie and Monster Cookie. There are a bunch of flavors I want to try but they aren't carried in my area.7

Oh man, I will have to try it. I love their cheese, didn't realize they came out with ice cream.1 -

It is definitely a struggle! I used to binge and eat 1-2 pints of ice cream at a time (before MFP). I now allot my calories on a weekly basis doing calorie cycling so that I've got quite a few calories for snacks on the weekends, and can usually fit in 1/2 - 3/4 of a pint that way. Otherwise, I supplement with things like a giant serving of popcorn and other higher volume or filling snacks along with one small serving of ice cream.1 -
Has this been shared? losing track haha

Yeah, for lighter ice creams, the Ben and Jerry's pints don't seem to be quite as good as some other options. Calorie-wise, they're about the same as a normal Breyer's/Edy's etc. ice cream, but the flavor doesn't seem to be as good as those. I haven't tried Halo Top or Enlightened (I can't do the artificial sweeteners), but in my opinion the Arctic Zero light ice cream pints are better/more flavorful for way fewer calories. For the B&J's regular pints, they are good (and some better than others), but I think they're not as good as other companies like Haagen-Dazs, Talenti, Graeter's, and Jeni's. Speaking of the mix-ins that make some of the B&J's pints great, those were what weren't quite up to par in the lighter B&J pints (at least, for the first three flavors that were released last year - the cookie mix-ins were lacking flavor).2 -

Yes, lol but I am still interested! They have a 2 off and 1 off coupon on their site I printed and bought the apple but haven't tried yet.0 -
Tillamook coffee almond fudge is really good. I also tried those Olly cookies and they are the best protein cookies I have ever had!1

For those that love caramel this is the dessert for you! Very rich & full of caramel.3 -

Have you tried The Birthday Cake in particular?
Yassss!!!! They have been getting some of the cheese which is fantastic so I am excited to try the ice cream!
I wish Giant would get Graeters too!0 -

I saw the Starbucks cinnamon shortbread latte advertised and decided to try one this morning, it was really good, didn't think I would like it as much as I did! I got it with almond milk and an extra shot of espresso and the coffee to sugar ratio was perfect for me. They put real cinnamon in it so it does not have that gross fake cinnamon (think hard candy) taste.

The chocolate chip cookie dough core flavor was good, but not great. It has a cookie milk ice cream base with chocolate chips and a chocolate chip cookie dough core. I couldn't taste any cookies in the base, so it just seemed like a chocolate chip ice cream to me. The cookie dough core was good, though a bit sparse. Out of the new cookie dough core flavors, this sounded the least interesting, so I'm hoping that I can find the other two soon and that they'll be more unique. This was good, but a bit boring.
The Moophoria Cherry Garcia with a twist has a cherry ice cream base with cherries as well as a chocolate base with chocolate chips. I enjoyed the cherry ice cream half of the pint, but the chocolate half was a bit bland with a fake taste and felt like it was missing something. Texturally, the ice cream was a little more whipped/foamy than I would've liked. For low calorie ice creams without artificial sweeteners, I prefer the flavor and texture of the Arctic zero pints over the Moophoria line.
You were spot on with the review of the Cookie Dough Core! The base was so boring & the redeeming thing was the cookie dough.
The only three Ben & Jerry's pints I really love are Cinnamon Buns (my all time favorite), Pecan Sticky Buns, & Confetti Cake (was limited edition). I was sad to see that one go.
They need to bring this cookie dough (was sold at scoop shops) to grocery stores already!
A new Blue Bunny flavor to look out for

I'm in the Midwest and don't have lots of the stores you all talk about nearby, but wanted to let others know Enlightened ice cream is B1G1 free at Sprouts. It still ends up being $3/pint, but worth it if you really enjoy their ice cream.2

Cinnamon Buns is one of my favorite B&J's pints too! I've never seen Pecan Sticky Buns or Confetti Cake (though that sounds like it was a great flavor)- is pecan sticky buns a limited edition flavor too?0 -

Pecan Sticky Buns is limited edition, and might just be exclusive to Walmart.0 -

Trust me when I say that the Frappuccino version is even better!!!! There’s so much whipped cream and syrup!1 -

I think so too. The email said they're making way for the 1.6 lb and 3 lb cannisters.
30% off, people!
Oooo, anyone try the Detour Simple (now Protein Boost) bars? I'm looking for something comparable to my beloved Quest Beyond Cereal bars and emailed Detour for free samples but they've completely ignored me.1 -
