03/04 - 211.4 up 1.0lb from Friday but that is the way my weekends go. Got out for a walk and did W1D1 of couch 2 5k. Total 5.5km. Food good and plenty of water
03/05 - 210.0 - food good apart from one crepe with Nutella. At least it was only one. It is usually at least 3 on Pancake Tuesday. Small walk and a Pilates class
03/06 - 210.4 - that pancake! Not much exercise but I hit my steps and was ok foodwise.
03/07 - 211.4 - what is that about? Loads of pottering about yesterday, food good and loads of water
03/08 - 208.8 - did great foodwise, no exercise though!

I feel like my body keeps holding on to a certain weight for some days and then just drops it out of nowhere (like today and my SW of this round)
03/11 - 79,9 kg - i'm under 80! (at least for one day haha). didn't do too well yesterday, went over with like 300 calories, but I stopped myself so that's good! I also realized that I won't have a scale Wednesday so tomorrow will be my final weight in for this round.

03/04 159.2 up a pound or so from recent days but I had a bad weekend with lots of drinking and snacking though stayed around maintenance calories, plus it's totm
03/05 159.4 well I was a total lazy slob yesterday so I guess I don't deserve a loss! I did stay below my calories though...
03/06 161.4 (+2#) I had high hopes getting on the scales this morning. Yesterday was a great day, I enjoyed a good long session at the gym and ate at my calorie goal of 1200 rather than way below it. Didn't sleep that great though. Gutted to be back in the 160s
03/07 159.4 felt sure it was going to be lower today. What happened to the 157.2 I saw about ten days ago? Nothing has changed, I have been in a constant deficit of at least 500 cals with maybe one or two days at maintenance. Yesterday I ate just over 1000 calories and burnt about 450 at the gym and went to bed hungry 😔 My trend line on Libra is now going up not down and it says n/a where the date for my goal weight should be.
03/08 157.4 (-2#) finally! I'm relieved about that! And surprised because I have stiff legs from a workout and that usually means water weight for me. Also I ate a lot of salad yesterday so I assumed I would be holding a lot of food bulk. I worked out in the evening rather than the morning so maybe that helped. I'm noticing a lot of people talking about drinking more water so I'm gonna aim for two litres a day plus coffee etc. I prefer sparkling with a slice, hopefully that'll do the trick!

Between injury and lymph nodes swelling up again had a bit of a free for all on the food yesterday so scale soared from the carbs and sodium, went for a couple of walks for fresh air.

Scale dropping again after the weekend's food. Rib injury seems to have eased off (bumped it on the plate at the bottom of the pole at my class on Friday) and my lymph nodes seem to have calmed down again. Today's goals are to get my rest day steps in, eat under maintenance and hit my macro goals.

And the water weight is off no rowing this morning, weather didn't look to great so I went for a run last night instead. Was just under maintenance yesterday and hit my macro goals, so I call that a good day. Goal today is to get out for a walk at lunchtime and eat my planned meals.

Well I don't know if I have just been dehydrated last 2 days (I don't think I have) but there was some drop on the scale the last 2 days compared to normal, I've checked my scale with some dumbbells and all seems to be in order. I did start taking some electrolyte supplements, so maybe they just helped release some of the water I've been carrying over shark week, workouts and recent flying. Today's goals are to get some strength training and steps in.

Yay my Libra trend is back on a downward slant again. Got steps in yesterday but no strength training apart from the bodyweight exercises that I do on breaks at work, will do it at lunchtime today instead.
Over the weekend I indulged a little but within reason, trendweight is still going down and I am finding it far easier not to snack between meals during the week by having a really calorific fat and protein packed lunch.

03/05 – 214 I wasn’t sure how this was going but glad it is lower. I do everything right so always want to see lower. I forgot to mention because I am in another challenge I started trying exercise more, besides the walking I do when I get the grandson. I started Sunday, the body is sore but it still feels good.

4 March: 124.8 lbs * Thrilled to be back for my second round! I have a few tricky days coming up so I'm thankful to have this challenge to help me stay accountable. My goal this round is to get down to 124 (or my more ambitious goal of 123.8).
5 March: 124 lbs * Quite the dramatic drop. And while technically my Round 70 'goal weight', I don't trust it'll stick around. Seems a bit too good to be true, but we'll see.
Best of luck to everyone on the glorious and terrifying Pancake Day. I have calories put aside to indulge for dessert tonight!
6 March: 124 lbs * Day 3 of being in the 124s and I couldn't be happier. Very eager to see the elusive 123s! Since it was a food based day yesterday (Pancake Day!), I put 550 calories aside and ate a giant stack of homemade blueberry pancakes and maple syrup with my husband for dessert last night. This was an important day for me because I showed myself that I can participate in food related days/events without going over my calories and without derailing my progress.
7 March: 123.8 lbs * I'm super surprised about this weigh-in for a few reasons. First, I ate about 90% of my calories very close to my nightly eating cutoff of 8PM (homemade cheese and meat board night with my husband!). Second, I went over my daily calories by about 60 to have a piece of chocolate after all the delicious cheese. Third, my TOTM is due any day now and I've been feeling a bit bloated because of it. I felt everything was working against me and that I'd be up today, so I'm REALLY happy to see the scale go down and give me a taste of my 'ambitious round 70 goal'. Hello 123s! I hope I get to see you again tomorrow.
8 March: 124 lbs * TOTM arrived yesterday evening, so here's the slight gain I was anticipating. Feeling bloated and gross today, trying my hardest not to indulge in all the sweet things I used to eat for comfort. Made Nutella on toast for breakfast to keep the cravings at bay. Happy that the gain (if it can even really be counted as that) was so slight, I've had months where it was much, much worse than this. Staying positive and hoping to catch another glimpse of the 123s soon!
9 March: 123.5 lbs * Back to the 123s! I'm excited but also extremely surprised. TOTM was awful yesterday (still not great today) and I allowed myself to eat just a little under maintenance to help with the sluggishness I was feeling. And, let's be honest, I was craving ice cream. Just shows how unpredictable these daily fluctuations can be. Not sure if I'm eating at maintenance again today, I'm leaving the option open if I'm feeling particularly awful again.
10 March: 123.3 lbs * I didn't end up eating at maintenance again yesterday since I started feeling much better. TOTM cravings were running wild regardless. I wanted ice cream and pizza... so I ate it, stayed within my calories, and woke up to the scale having gone down a little this morning. Success! Before I started using MyFitnessPal, wanting pizza on a Saturday night meant eating a medium-large meat lovers pizza and a side by myself along with a litre of coke and more than likely some sort of high calorie sweet for dessert. Last night I enjoyed a small Hawaiian pizza with a glass of water and a 100ml tub of Häagen-Dazs and loved every bite of it! So happy I can keep these impulses in check and still treat myself. That feels like even more of a personal accomplishment than the actual weight loss.
11 March: 123.5 lbs * I did not drink enough water yesterday. Goal today is to have a glass with every meal and a few in between. TOTM is done at least! Really, really hoping I can stay in the 123s for the end of this round.

3/4: — 200.0 — I’ve been hovering at this weight for a bit, wanting to get under 200. I can tell I’ve lost even though the scale doesn’t show it. So I took measurements today and I have lost INCHES!! I’m really excited about that. So glad I took measurements earlier.

03/05 – 143 – I’m glad to see the number go back down.
03/06 – 142.5 – I had a stress snack attack at work yesterday, so I munched on some popcorn and had a handful of mixed nuts. It’s better than going for the cookies and chocolate in the break room, which is exactly how I’ve dealt with it in the past. My desk is stuffed full of healthier snack choices, I just need to make sure I’m not overeating the healthy snacks.
03/07 – 142 – It’s been a few weeks since I’ve seen this number.
03/08 – 142 – I had to run around to several client offices yesterday. One of my favorites is a local Italian restaurant. The owner surprised me with a personal pan mini pizza to eat while I was doing his books since I’d shown up during lunch time. (I usually eat lunch before I go out to his place because I don’t want to be tempted.) I ate the whole delicious thing. I skipped supper because I was still full from the pizza, but I’m still surprised it didn’t show up on the scale this morning from water retention. It may show up tomorrow, but I’m happy I’m still in the middle of maintenance range.
03/09 – 142.5 – Normal daily weight bounce. We’ve got out of town family coming to visit today and tomorrow. I’ll try to stick with maintenance calories while they’re here.
03/10 - 142.5 - When the Florida grandson comes to visit and he asks for fried chicken and pizza for dinner, we get fried chicken and pizza for dinner. I had one piece of each, so I didn't go crazy. I also had a couple beers with the son-in-law. No regrets.

03/04 - 136.4 (-2lb) - Off to a quick start! Must have had a light day yesterday or something so am already at goal this round... Let's see if it sticks
03/05 - 134 (-2.4lb) - Woah! OK so there's obviously some water retention/loss stuff happening here. I've gone from being out of action with a shoulder injury and eating a lot of junk, to being totally back on the wagon in terms of food and exercise in the last few days. We will wait to see how this settles over the coming week I think! Zero complaints though haha.
03/06 - 132.9 (-1.1) - The whoosh is slowing a little, which is good. I am eating between 1500-1600kcals a day, so sticking with that for now and am hoping that I'll see the loss from the last few days hold. Clearly just the dramatic change from sweets and biscuits to protein, fruit and veggies! Bye bye water weight. I'm happy though, as I gave myself a goal of 128lb for mid-April which is now looking very achievable.
03/07 - 133.1 (+0.2) - Ok back to reality. I wondered how long the whoosh could last. Very happy with a tiny jump back up considering I started this round almost 3.5lb heavier! Weather is keeping me indoors and I am champing at the bit to get back out to my jogging/hiking. Forecast is not looking good. Otherwise, the week's food prep has been a god send and I am feeling focused and strong.
03/08 - 132.4 (-0.7) - Yay! Very close to my mini-goal of 132lb - hopefully see this by Tuesday. I have a night in with my girlfriends tonight with lots of delicious goodies and a few drinks, undoubtedly a greasy breakfast treat tomorrow, then back to the lighter food after that. I've got a fairly active weekend planned so looking to balance it out.
03/09 - no scale - Great night last night but I'm glad I didn't have to step on the scales this morning. Enjoyed my breakfast treat and now I'm off to get some healthy groceries in for the week!
03/10 - 137 (+4.6) - Hahaha didn't think I had THAT much fun on Friday, but apparently I did. Went for a 5km run yesterday, my first since my shoulder injury a month ago, so very happy with that. Did nearly 14000 steps and stuck to my calorie goal as well, despite being a little bit dusty after Friday drinks. A great Saturday all round!
03/11 - 136.9 (-0.1) - OK now I'm getting a little annoyed. The only thing I can think that's causing this fluctuation is that I started back on the pill on Friday and have had two days of heavier exercise over the weekend. Anyway, focusing on sticking to my calories and trusting the process - I know it works, just need to have faith and ignore the fluctuations. My clothes are feeling a bit looser so there's a NSV as well

03/07 - 196.4 - I love how easily the weight drops at the beginning. I checked my glucose level this morning (my daughter has T1D) and I’m down 4-10 points, depending on the day I tested. Only 5 more to normal fasting glucose levels!!
03/08 - 195.8 - OMG!!! Fasting glucose of 92!! I really wasn’t expecting to see that this morning, but it’s confirmation for me that I’m doing the right thing. Being down 6.2 lbs isn’t so bad either!!
03/09 - 195.4 - Still doing good, still feeling good! I’ll be busy all day today, so probably limited time to even think about food!

Life took over the last few weeks with the girls' competition, weekend away with the grandkids, continuing building works and so so busy! Too much going on - I need to find a little bit of time to look after me!

03/05 - 152.40lb - result of a weekend away with the eldest son, daughter in law and the grandkids and no control over what I ate! Unsurprisingly I don't feel any better for it in any way at all. 03/04 177.2I was super tired yesterday and I'm feeling like TOM is about to start. I went a smidge over calories but I got in a short walk too. I have a short week at work, which is nice. Tomorrow is my day off, but my son and I both have dentist appointments. Then I work Wednesday and get Thursday, Friday and the weekend off! I'm thinking of something fun to do on those days!

Other than that, I also started. I had considered skipping weighing in for a few days, but decided against it. Time of month can bring a temporary gain, but it’s not something to stress over. So I’ll continue on logging and learning!

There are lots of cookies and muffins around -- this is bad! It's interesting -- if you just say "oh, I can't eat that!" and laugh, it's kind of empowering. I am in control of what I eat... no one else.
3/8 -- 132.2 Spring is coming -- you can feel it in the air (still cold, but sunny, and well, just a little springier out there! I am pleased with this round so far. Weekend plans all weekend, and of course they all involve eating and drinking with friends. I have to remember how close I am to wearing those summer clothes!
3/9 -- 132.2 No change -- I am aiming for 131! I am reading the Blue Zones Solution and Old in Art School (authors Dan Buettner and Nell Painter) over spring break -- they will keep me mindful! The Blue Zone Diet is really great -- I'm loving the four best beverages -- water, coffee, green tea, and red wine. I drink them all!

03/04 - 137.4 lbs. (Up 2.4 pounds) I think yesterday was a fluke and that I showed as 135 because I was so dehydrated. I drank like 5 vodka sodas on Saturday night, but I also did so much dancing! Haha. So today I am back to the basics but I have changed my calories to 1480 (losing .5 lb per week). I hope I can stick with this without worrying about gaining weight. 1480 is not that much.

But I did eat more than 1200, (1346), and since I realized eating too much in the evening is challenging I will add an extra 100 calories to my breakfast 🙂. I think it's my Fitbit that threw me off. I don't want to see my chart turn red (i.e. more calories in than out). But it's mind over matter right now. I am trying to build myself up for life long success.

I think this is going great and honestly I had a moment of self reflection yesterday where I realized this last 1.5 pounds doesn't really matter. I'm happy with where my body is at right now. I just don't want to gain weight back. And NSV Yesterday I got a pair of jeans I ordered from Old Navy in the mail and they fit perfectly.

When I saw the scale go so quickly to 136.4 again my first thought is maybe the scale is glitching, but in reality I think this is just my new normal and that's just fine. My clothes fit so much better and I feel stronger as well. I've been doing yoga now for 39 straight days and today I am going to start the Dedicate 30 day yoga journey

I did move my scale to a different part of my floor and it seemed to calculate longer, so my guess is my weight has been creeping up. Also I had way more sodium than I usually do. I need to watch that. But it's just so hard. I can't imagine how much sodium I must have consumed before I started logging. Also I think my water was lower yesterday so I'll drink much more today to see if that helps. ✌️♥️

I'll admit, I went back to eating more restrictive because I didn't like seeing that scale go up, especially right before a weekend. Tonight I am going out of town and Sunday I'll be away all day, so I want to give myself some cushion. Today at 11:30 I am planning on going to a dance class. The dance is called Nia, have any of you done it before? I did it 3 years ago as part of an intensive outpatient program. I was super into it and wish I had continued after I finished. Nia is a unique blend of dance, yoga, Chi Gong and Aikido, that promotes energy, strength and well-being.

The person who threw the event is a ballroom dancer and all his friends are ballroom dancer, so I got asked to dance with 4 different professional ballroom dancers and they were just making me feel so light on my feet! I drank some, so I think my calories came out even. All and all it was one of those nights where I really appreciated where I am in life and health.

03/04—211.8—Had a hungry day yesterday, but also an exercise-filled day. My head is fine (I smacked it hard yesterday on the tailgate of my car). This is gonna be a good week.
03/05—211.4—Another rather hungry day, though I was able to keep my calories in a good place. I hate the cold, but I took a nice long walk yesterday while it was in the thirties. I felt fairly invigorated, but I probably won't do that again today.
03/06—212.8—Not a concerning bump for several reasons. 1. Bumps happen; 2. I had a Frosty yesterday; 3. This was an early weigh-in; 4. My digestive system is positively wonky! Still having a good week, though I'm terribly sleepy this moment as I sit at my desk and attempt to write regulatory comments!

Changing my life.Round 70: My focus is to continue tracking streak, reduce snacking on poor choices, drink more water and be active every day in some way shape or form! This round I need to move the needle on the scale!

- Find workout routine that works (walk, bike, planks, yoga, swim, take advantage of retirement to be more active); target 70k steps per week
- Drink more water (target min 64 oz daily; start with 1 glass before coffee)
- Journal Food Daily (tracking with MFP since 12/28/2018)
- Daily Vitamins (Dr’s orders; need to not ignore)
- Drink less alcohol (4 AF days per week; ~16 AF days per month; limit 1-2 glasses per day)

3/4 - 235.1 - fishing, long drive, no exercise, 9933 steps, 64oz water, track, V. Returned from the fishing camp without gaining tons of weight! YEAH
3/5 - 234.4 - walked 2+ miles, bike 20 min, 10692 steps, 24 oz water, track, V. Did not drink nearly enough water!
3/6 - No scale San Fran - walked 1+ miles then again airport & Bart, bike 20 min, 11500 steps, 64 oz water, track, V.
3/7 - No scale San Fran - bike 45 min, walked around town & Exploratorium, 18878 steps, 64+ water, track.
3/8 - No scale San Fran - walked around town & MOMA, 17343, 64 oz water, track.
3/9 - 234.3 - walked airport, 8571 steps, 48 oz water, track, V, AF.
3/10 - 233.7 - walked twice yesterday 1+ miles plus 3+ miles, 14490 steps, 64 oz water, track, AF.
3/11 - 233.3 - walked 1+ mile, gardened, 8317 steps, 64 oz water, track, AF.
