I never let anyone take my picture and I always found better angles. As a matter of fact, the pained look on my face was because my mother was taking my picture in spite of my protests. It hurts to see myself looking that way, but I keep reminding myself that I’m changing it. Here’s my 73lb difference.
Wow! Amazing transformation. You look great and I bet you feel better too.19 -

I'll add that from last month. This is just yesterday though
Starting 169lbs size 12 going 14 probably, 35 inch waist. Height at 5'5.5
Current is 129lbs size 4 going lower, 28 inch waist. Same height LOL!
Goal: Abs! I don't want to be skinny, I want to be fit and healthy.17 -
Thanks for posting your pictures everyone. They are very inspirational. I'm just starting this journey - down 15 pounds so far in about 3 weeks. I am taking pictures so I can compare for myself - maybe I'll post as times goes on. Keep the pics coming.12

This is a "during" shot. I started in December and have lost 19 pounds. It's going slower than I'd like, but I'm okay with that. I'm 1/5 of the way to my goal and hoping to make it by the end of the year. If not, I'll keep going because I'm going to get there. I'm tired of living the way I was back in December.

March 11, 2019... That day has been circled on my calendar for the last 6 months and now, it's here. I can't believe it.
6 months ago on September 11, 2018 I took a long look at myself in the mirror, and decided that it was time for a change. I had no energy and was in chronic pain. On that day, I gave myself a wonderful gift... I decided to change my life through nutrition and exercise. There would be no doctors, shots, or expensive protein drinks. There would be no "quick fix." Instead, it would be eating healthy, and going to the gym, and plugging away pound by pound.
It has been quite a journey, but I've learned a ton about myself and about how proper nutrition can heal your body. To say that I am 100% pain-free would be lying, as I have hip arthritis and I am bone-on-bone, BUT by losing weight and eating nutritious food, I have cut my pain considerably and have more stamina. I ran a mile on the treadmill yesterday in 10:44! Yes, I hurt a little afterwards, but not for long. I would have been lucky to have walked a mile in September.
I have about 20 more pounds to go, so my journey isn't over yet, but TODAY, I celebrate my 6-month milestone!
