03/24 152.6 This makes 5.2 down since I started this challenge, and 2.8 down overnight! Now that's the week 1 whoosh I'd hoped for and never got. I exercised and ate some calories back, had my usual ice cream bar and even three squares of caramel dark chocolate yesterday! I also looked up the calories in my favorite bakery cookies and discovered to my horror that each one has over 500 calories! I used to eat several in the course of a day. Maybe I can have one occasionally on maintenance, but I am so glad I'm not blindly stuffing my face now!
I feel like tracking on MFP has revealed that holy grail of successful weight loss: moderation. I'm finally empowered to enjoy treats in moderation, guilt-free. Other big lessons so far: I must practice patience (this is all gonna go way more slowly than I'd like!), and I can't freak out when the numbers on the scale go up or plateau. It's all part of this nonlinear process.
My original goal weight for this round was 153.8, but I'm lower than that today, so I've revised the goal to be 151.8. That's only 1 lb in the next 10 days, slow and steady.
03/25 154.8 Well, it's to be expected. I may bounce up and down over the next few days. I ended the last round at 155.4, and that's probably closer to the truth. 153 still feels attainable for this round. Focusing on lots of hydration and staying in my calorie range while getting as close to my protein macros as possible.
03/26 155.6. Sigh. Okay. I ate super salty foods yesterday and I know this isn't a true reflection of what's going on. My pants feel looser, at least! My 153 goal for this round seems less likely bu the day, but there are still 7 days left. A lot can happen.
03/27 155.6. All right, as long as I don't gain, this means I'm basically maintaining what I've lost so far. Still down more than 2 lbs, and more importantly, I'm feeling better than I have in a while about my ability to stick with something. I have to admit, knowing I'm posting here every day makes a difference! I clearly need this level of accountability.

03/24 208#. I need to work more on drinking enough water. Is it your weight ÷ 2= ?? Ounces/day? I'm 5.4# away from my lowest weight . Today is day 23 of logging my food. I have officially beat my hubby! I'd he doesn't watch it, I'll pass him on this weight loss stuff. LOL! I did over stuff myself at supper. Homemade pizza. It was so good! Not feeling so good now. 3,808 steps. 124 oz water. 1,325 calories.
03/25 208.4#. My cravings were bad tonight. I went over on my calories. Thank goodness for Zumba! 2,161 calories in pre workout. 9,999 steps.
03/26 210#. I am a bit surprised by this big of a jump.
03/27 208.4#. COMPLETELY blew my calorie intake for today. The last 3 days I have had terrible munchies. Tomorrow I should only eat when my body is truly hungry.

@donalowen Yes, I find IFing *so* much easier with black coffee! I used to belong to some IF groups that preach only a "clean" fast of black coffee and water because a lot of people find it's easier to fast if you avoid spiking insulin. I say, whatever works, but I definitely get hungrier if I don't keep my coffee black.3 -

@quiltingjaine I saw that when I looked it up! Not for us keto or low carbers! I thought maybe it was just flax seed lightly sweetened with stevia or something. More like bars or loose granola. Not for me but maybe helpful to others on a different plan than me.1 -

03/25 75.9kg💃🏽with a nice 3km run with the moonlight and the sunrise. Forced myself to go up a pushup level yesterday and managed 21.
03/26 76.7kg my usual week day blip for no reason so I really don't worry about it.
03/27 76.5kg and a nice quick run this morning.

03/25 245.8 First day back at work after a week off and I BONKED, didn’t eat enough. Did walk for 3 miles though, got my protein in and 20g of fiber (chia seed over load!)
03/26 245.2 Went to a wine and food tasting event tonight...ate before I went...didn’t eat a single bite there and less than 4 oz of wine. Yeah me!
03/27 243.0 went to another evening event...ate before I left and didn’t have any trouble avoiding the buffet. I’m not sure if it is all the protein or the chia seeds but everything is going really well so far...don’t want to jinx it though!

03/26 - 73.4 kg my diet was ok like 80% clean but still got the gain! Disappointing!
03/27 - 73.1 kg Had a 100% clean diet, did a 30 minutes low impact workout. Happy that my scale moves down

I was terrified to step on the scale (because I was scared of this result), but I knew I had to do it to get back on track. Hopefully I can still turn this around but I'm not sure at this moment. 03/24 - 96.7 yesterday was so stressful had to eat the entire house. Fingers crossed for better behavior today
03/25 - 95.6 The best way to be rewarded for good behaviour is to see it on the scale I know it is just water for having no carbs and other water retention stuff, and it will probably not stick too long as is (or stick too long XD and plateau). Anyway great way to get motivated to get back on track.
03/26 - 95.6 Happy to see this number again! Was semi-behaving yesterday. Proud I manage to control myself this period at all.

03/24 187.4 this morning after an evening off yesterday. Lowest weight last week was 186.8 on Thursday, would love to see that tomorrow morning for my official weekky weigh in.....!
03/25 - 186.8 (-0.6) and, back to my lowest weight so far, would love to see a new low tomorrow!
Yesterday I wasn't perfect with my food but drank lots of water and did 16000 steps including a round of couch to 5 k.
Today, I'm out of the house from 9 to 8.30pm for work.... lunch and snacks are packed, but i don't see how I'll manage 10k steps.... let's see if I can surprise myself!
03/26 - 185.8 (-1) wasn't expecting that after just 5000 steps yest and no time to think about water etc. But, I'm taking it! C25K jog done this morning, shower now when brekkie lunch box and to work for an 11.5 hour day again, I will stay on plan!
03/27 - 185.0 (-0.8) happy happy! Below my low weight of last May now.... And so keen to keep on going! Another 11 hour day at work.... what doesn't kill you makes you stronger, now it's time for coffee!
03/28 - 185.4(+0.4) was always going to happen and little ups are just fine. Yesterdsay i had my offplab food of the week when i went to a local cafe and got a massive pastry. Thats life and i have to let it happen to keep this going.
Aim to focus on my water today as Thursday is a bit of a treat night. I don't work Fridays so it is my Friday night! Don't want to ruin my hard work of the beginning of the week though so will try and stay in control! I'd love to be in the 184s for my 'official' weigh in next Monday......

03/24 95.5 usual little weekend bounce. Taking a bit of a maintenance weekend to see if I can get rid of this virus! So no running, no spinning and eating a little more than usual. Although I did spend all day yesterday and today in the garden getting ready for growing season. Have all my veggies down now so looking forward to a lovely summer diet of fresh vegetables from the back garden!
03/25 95.0 guess i was working harder in the garden than I thought over the weekend! Back to running this week… I have 12 days left until graduation, out of the 3 dresses the one I want to wear most turns out to be the tightest… typical… so just have to see if I can skim a little bit more off so I can wear it comfortably!
03/26 94.8 nice to be back running again, 11 days until graduation! Also... My bmi is now 29.9.... I'm just plain ol' overweight now! Not obese! Woohoo!
03/27 dnw was up late to get kids to school so had already had breakfast when I remembered I hadn't weighed! Now had the ultimate joy of trying on my dresses, 2 fit but I still feel so frumpy in them! as I've gotten older the excess seems to gather on my tummy, it used to gather on my hips, which gave me a fat *kitten* but I couldn't see it so it was fine (ish) but now I feel like I've got a spare tyre from a bus sitting around my hips and I just hate it as I can see and feel it all day! My husband is zero help as he just tells me to get used to it because it's part of getting old! I don't want the tyre and I will never “just get used to it”!
03/28 94.4 nice little drop! last week to put in the work to drop the last bit for graduation! The graduation is a completely selfish thing, no one else gives a monkeys about it but i spent a long time working hard to earn my masters so I will be selfish on this one!

03/24 - 206.0 - down a little. Surprised as I didn't have a great day food wise but I suppose I ate little of the bad stuff. And I did manage a run/walk. So happy with that!
03/25 - 206.8 - back to start weight again. Food was ok yesterday. Could have been better. Spent the whole day walking around but more of a stroll than a brisk walk.
03/26 - 207.6 - not good. Not too bad with food but mane too much bread. This is not a good trend.
03/27 - 205.4 - excellent day yesterday. Excellent food wise and I did a yoga class and a very brisk walk. Hope I keep this loss now.

R72 my R3 After going off track this weekend my weight was up high on Monday morning. Didn't weigh on Sunday so only doing nine days this round. I'm hoping I'm carrying a lot of water weight today so I'm going to set my goal at 153#. I was so close to this at the end of last round so it should be possible however I'm going away next weekend so am expecting a gain. Also TOTM is due next Sunday so this round is likely to be a bit wonky!
Goals are to keep hydrated, avoid alcohol during the week and get good sleep
03/25 155.8 (+2.06) I ate more than double my calories yesterday and still have a lot in my system so this really isn't a surprise. Just hope it's only temporary!
03/26 154.8 (+1.6#) very sedentary day yesterday as I hadn't slept well. Ate below calorie goal but not enough protein. Feeling more hydrated now but still holding onto the weekend's excesses. need to be more active but today I'm gonna be spending about seven hours in a car.
03/27 154.2 (+1#) I spent five hours sitting in a car last night waiting outside the Birmingham Arena while my 15 yr old was at a Panic at the Disco concert. I was bored, hungry and cold so of course caved in and ate her left over chips and nuggets. Doh.
03/28 153.4 (+0.2#) Almost back at my round 71 finishing weight. Not the best day yesterday in terms of food choices as I had carb cravings and had bread crisps and rice. Also ate way too late. I stayed under my calorie goal but I think too much salt.

24 March: 122 lbs * Big delicious meal at a nice London steak house last night with family. I don't do that often so I splurged a little (steak, lobster risotto, a cocktail, bone marrow, creamy spinach...) worth every bite! NSV, I didn't clean my plate and stopped eating when I felt satisfied. I also skipped on dessert and had green tea instead. Back to normal today!
25 March: 121.3 lbs * Back on track following Saturday night's dinner. Happy with today's weigh-in!
26 March: 121.3 lbs * So I made a big change yesterday and decided to start exercising again. Outside of the occasional (very) light workout before my wedding last year, I haven't done anything other than CICO to lose weight so far. I used to be super active in my teens and early twenties so I'm working on getting back to that again. For now, 30 minutes a day on our stationary bike will be a good start to get my blood flowing. My deficit is soo small now that burning more calories a few days a week will help loads! Really enjoyed getting my body moving again yesterday and looking forward to doing it again today! Just 5.3lbs to go...
27 March: 122.3 lbs * Holy random fluctuation! I usually see these coming but this caught me off guard. Yesterday was just the same as any other day other than the 30 minutes I did on the stationary bike. And I definitely haven't been eating any exercise calories back. I did a little investigating and apparently new cardio routines can make you gain a little initial water weight. I woke up super dehydrated this morning so I don't think I'm being honest with myself about how much water I'm drinking. Today I'm actually keeping solid track of my water for once and making sure I'm getting as much as I need. I also started doing body measurements today so I can keep an eye on that instead of just scale numbers. Planning on another 30 minutes on the stationary bike today! Giving myself a big hug and moving on.
28 March: 122.3 lbs * The extra pound is still here and I'm still not entirely sure where it came from. Drank 70oz of water yesterday and did another solid 30 minutes on the stationary bike. Stayed within my calories, didn't eat exercise calories back. All my food is scale measured as it's always been. Very strange! Going out for lunch today and I've already picked out my meal and put it in MFP. The menu for the place we're going has a 'lighter choices' section all under 550 calories! Not letting myself be discouraged, I'm sure my body will sort itself out soon.

03/24: 192.6 - I started out this round with a loss from yesterday! Yesterday was also our 16 year anniversary, we went out and neither of us felt like drinking. Probably saved myself a ton of calories. Hope this loss sticks
03/25: 191.6 - I'm really liking this trend and I hope it sticks around! TOM is almost over so this is a little expected.
03/26: 190.6 - The weight on my drivers license is no longer a lie! This makes me even more motivated to stay on track!!
03/27: 190.6 - I'm surprised. Didn't drink very much water yesterday and had spaghetti for dinner. I stayed within my calories though. I think I'm finally getting the "everything in moderation".
03/28: 190.4 - I'm happy with that.

03/24 - 140.5 - I did not expect a lower number this morning. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
03/25 – 140.5 – Holding steady after the weekend is unusual for me. No complaints!
03/26 – 140 – I’ve got some health issues right now, so I’m not sure if this drop over the past week is due to my diet or not.

Wow my 5th round already! Last month I reached three goals ahead of time. One of the goals would have been for end of March and the other was for April (Easter). I reevaluated my goals and I only have one for Easter. The new goal is to be 201.

03/24 - 210 starting this round with an increased weight, due to no one else but myself. I was binge eating yesterday so glad this was not worse than what it is. I have to get my head back in it. Doctor’s appointment tomorrow (check-up and blood work). After this will be assessing things and making some changes if necessary.
03/25 - 210.6 doctor appointment today and blood work.
03/26 – 209.8 the doctor’s visit went great, she is pleased with my progress so far (she did not know I was doing this again until yesterday). I got more blood work, I did not have to get the cholesterol because was good the last time. I don’t have to go back for another 6 months, which is great considering I was going every 3 months at one time. I also, was told not to focus too much on the numbers (example, saturated fats, sodium, etc. – these were concerns being on low cholesterol and with high blood pressure). Lastly, glad the weight is moving in this direction again.
03/27 – 209.4
03/28 – 208.6 I am not sure what glitch I had going on the past several weeks, but it seems to worked itself out.

24 March: 122 lbs * Big delicious meal at a nice London steak house last night with family. I don't do that often so I splurged a little (steak, lobster risotto, a cocktail, bone marrow, creamy spinach...) worth every bite! NSV, I didn't clean my plate and stopped eating when I felt satisfied. I also skipped on dessert and had green tea instead. Back to normal today!
25 March: 121.3 lbs * Back on track following Saturday night's dinner. Happy with today's weigh-in!
26 March: 121.3 lbs * So I made a big change yesterday and decided to start exercising again. Outside of the occasional (very) light workout before my wedding last year, I haven't done anything other than CICO to lose weight so far. I used to be super active in my teens and early twenties so I'm working on getting back to that again. For now, 30 minutes a day on our stationary bike will be a good start to get my blood flowing. My deficit is soo small now that burning more calories a few days a week will help loads! Really enjoyed getting my body moving again yesterday and looking forward to doing it again today! Just 5.3lbs to go...
27 March: 122.3 lbs * Holy random fluctuation! I usually see these coming but this caught me off guard. Yesterday was just the same as any other day other than the 30 minutes I did on the stationary bike. And I definitely haven't been eating any exercise calories back. I did a little investigating and apparently new cardio routines can make you gain a little initial water weight. I woke up super dehydrated this morning so I don't think I'm being honest with myself about how much water I'm drinking. Today I'm actually keeping solid track of my water for once and making sure I'm getting as much as I need. I also started doing body measurements today so I can keep an eye on that instead of just scale numbers. Planning on another 30 minutes on the stationary bike today! Giving myself a big hug and moving on.
28 March: 122.3 lbs * The extra pound is still here and I'm still not entirely sure where it came from. Drank 70oz of water yesterday and did another solid 30 minutes on the stationary bike. Stayed within my calories, didn't eat exercise calories back. All my food is scale measured as it's always been. Very strange! Going out for lunch today and I've already picked out my meal and put it in MFP. The menu for the place we're going has a 'lighter choices' section all under 550 calories! Not letting myself be discouraged, I'm sure my body will sort itself out soon.

@ashleyeliza89 your body will sort itself out. I was told this from another group I am in. Of course I did not believe it but the past several days started in the right direction again. It is frustrating and disappointing when you know your doing everything right and not cheating and you put a pound or more on or the weight is creeping up for no apparent reason. You will get this hang in there and keep making the right choices!5
