03/24 - No Scale (driving back from Vegas today without a weigh in this morning. I went to bed last night (or this morning) at 445am and I’m exhausted! Friday and Saturday I walked 25000 steps EACH day and I’m not sure how I still have feet! I count those two days as active so I hope the scale isn’t too bad tomorrow morning with all the food I had.)
03/25 - 200.6 (I'm happy I only gained a whole pound during my weekend away, which is a first for me. I usually gain around 5 pounds! All that walking truly helped. Last night I took naps and relaxed so I'm able to wake up to go to work so I did not do a workout. I had some Mandarin chicken, rice and broccoli for dinner last night.)

Last night I did a 20 minute elliptical HIIT workout. I was supposed to do a core workout last night too, but I was too busy grocery shopping, making dinner and helping the hubby study for his macroeconomics test that's due this week. I made some Philly cheesesteak pitas with chips for dinner last night!)
03/27 - 198.6 (The scale is going in the right direction! I've been having issues with a canker sore that has really been painful and difficult to eat. I stayed on target last night with my calories even though I really didn't want to eat since it's the side that I usually put food at. It really is difficult to eat on the other side! I made pasta with sauce and a poppyseed chicken casserole. I also did a 45 minute elliptical workout. It was difficult to push through yesterday!)
03/28 -198.2 (I had a great day yesterday! Ate on my plan and had some relaxation for the middle of the week. I did a core workout that I was supposed to do on Monday and had dinner ready in the crockpot. I made some chicken tacos with black beans. I'm hoping tomorrow I can make my goal since I'm so close!)
03/29 - 197.0 (TGIF!! Amirite?!?
I made my goal!!! My Happy Scale finally looked happy and I am so excited to get going on my next goal! Usually I weigh less every Friday so I hope I still have a lower weight on Tuesday, which may be an issue from weekend weight gain. We'll see how it goes! Last night, I was stuck in the middle of the high desert in SoCal coming home from work because of a huge accident that blocked the road. I didn't have time to make the dinner I had planned. My hubby went to Subway and got me a sandwich and I shortened my workout from 45 minutes to 20. At least I got something in!)
03/30 - 197.0 (I ate so much last night on date night with the hubby, but I planned it out! Half a burger and fries, chips and salsa and half dessert. I opted for water so I don’t drink my calories too. No workout last night since I was exhausted from a long week. I’m so happy seeing this number again!)

Just starting this round -- I have been traveling and working and soooo busy, but I need the structure and motivation this group give me -- so I'll keep jumping in when I can. Planning to stay put for awhile (at least a couple of weeks) and would like these next two weeks to be about losing 4 -5 pounds.
I'm a 61 yr. old woman who is in the best shape and health I've ever been. I do BRUTAL power yoga classes and love them -- I sweat everyday. I started MFP a couple years ago (after a lifetime of fighting weight) at 152, got to 122, and find myself back at 132 this morning.
Here's to it!

3/30 -- 132.4 No change. It's ok as long as it changes SOON! lol! Spending the day cleaning the house (it's just my husband and me and the dog right now -- how does this happen?? We are messy messy people, apparently!) so how many calories does that count for? We are volunteer bartending tonight at an arts studio fundraiser... it's a big, fancy event... so that will preclude any snacking/drinking/Saturday night munching.11 -

3/24 129.0 Had a headache after family brunch didn’t leave the house. High salt late supper at home.
3/25 129.0 No control over where visitors chose to eat but making the best choices possible for ME. No big TMI visits for a couple of days so feeling really bloated!
3/26 130.0 Still no TMI. Sweet DSIL is coming to stay with us for 3 days so eating should be much better. Taking her daughter to the airport. Going to El Pollo Loco as often as she wants because she loves it and doesn’t have it at home!

03/24--213.4 Not sure why the jump on the scale. I ran my 5k this morning!
It was a lot better than I thought it would be since during my c25k training I had only ran at most 3.0km. Now I need to get ready to start my training for a 10k in June. After the 5k I had plan to rest/relax for the rest of the day, but I will go out for a walk later this afternoon to help with any soreness. I have a massage booked for Tuesday, so that should help with any residual soreness.
03/25--214.2 Jump due to soreness from the 5k. I plan on relaxing today. Trainer tomorrow.
03/26--212.5 I knew there would be a drop on the scale when I woke up this morning and didn't feel sore anymore. Tonight is the trainer and then a massage.
03/27--212.0 After talking to my nutritionist we decided that hard cheese would be the next food I would incorporate into my diet to test my sensitivity to it. Well, on Sunday I had hard cheese with all of my meals and then yesterday I could tell that something wasn't right with my stomach when I felt bloated for most of the day and did not have my regular BM. So, hard cheese is out. Ugh!

03/29--211.2 I forgot to check in yesterday. Had a hard workout with the trainer yesterday and he is so impressed in how much stronger I am getting. Plan is to go for a run tonight and start training for my 10k in June, but it may start raining later and I hate running on treadmill, so we'll see.
03/30--211.5 Went for a 2 mile run today with the dog...it was great. I usually go to the gym on Saturday, but I didn't want to get up early to get to the gym before it gets busy, so I went for a run instead and will go to the gym tomorrow morning. Going out with hubby later to buy new running shoes. Plan is to do some decluttering today.

03/24 151.8 ~ (Steps 14,789) ~ Everyone here is doing an fabulous job, You would think this wouldn’t be this hard for me. But yet my focus these last couple of months hasn’t been here, I can give you excuses. I’m not, I’m just going to take one day at a time, taking baby steps. (Day 1 is successful )
03/25 149.3 ~ (Steps 16,417) ~ Today was tough getting going plus it rained so no evening walk. I was able to get through the day without having sweets again, that’s a win in my book. (Day 2 is successful)

03/26 149.3 ~ (Steps 9,980) ~ Yesterday morning woke up feeling iffy, sneezing and coughing, thinking allergies. I went for a short workout on the Threadmill. My husband and I had some errands to I kept busy throughout the day. Last night I was still feeling iffy so I decided not to cook. We ended up going to Popeyes for dinner. I did end up getting the Cajun rice though with a chicken wrap. On the bright side, even though I didn’t feel good, I didn’t snack, yay. Day 3 is successful
03/27 150.3 ~ (Steps 22,756) ~ Last nights night with sodium raised the scale unfortunately, 👿😂 Hopefully the scale will drop tomorrow.
03/28 149.8 ~ (Steps 25,183) ~ My training we excellent I still need to get my time down, though. Successful in no late night snacking and healthy food choices. Day 5 is successful
03/29 151 ~ (Steps 14790) ~ The only thing I can think of why the scale climbed was my late dinner, my sodium has even been lowere, 👍🏼 I’ll try to lower my carb intake to see if that helps....Day 6 is successful

03/27 — 192.1 — Husband decided to get Subway sandwiches for dinner last night. So proud of myself that I passed that up and made myself a healthy dinner (and saved money). I know they have some healthy choices, but I like knowing exactly what I am eating.

03/29 — 191.1 — I feel “lighter” all of a sudden. Clothes are looser and the jeans I just bought are 2 sizes smaller.

03/24 205.5 Had barn day yesterday. Put in almost 13k steps but probably negated it with Mexican lunch and a huge margarita. Need to start daily bike riding or walking again.
03/25 DNW I was running late this morning (on purpose) and was dressed before I realized I hadn’t weighed in. Need to track, track, track to get myself back in the habit.
03/26 206.7 Stressed out to the max. Do really good with eating at work but lose absolute control at home. Never fails. First horse show of the year starts next Wednesday. Let’s hope my chaps fit. Ugh!
03/27 209.5 Let's try this again. I had already posted for today but apparently my Dad's laptop has a mind of it's own and I lost it all. I weighed in this morning in my work uniform. It was just easier than zooming downstairs in my skivvies and then going back up to get ready for work. It'll even itself out as I get into a routine. I am still not logging 100% of what I put in my mouth but I am always a work-in-progress.
03/28 207.? So I use a Fitbit Aria scale and I noticed that it did not sync my weight from this morning. But I swear I saw 207 something so I'll take that. Last night I did get OUTSIDE for a 1-mile walk. It felt GREAT to be outside and I cannot wait to do it again. It's supposed to be warmer today but I think it's going to rain. Boo! I did better on my tracking until I grabbed that cookie on my way up to bed. Grandma being at our house has REALLY stressed me out. She does NOT shut up while we sit quietly and watch evening television. Unfortunately, my ability to just tolerate or tune her out has decreased enough that I just want to lash out at her and then it gets ugly. Then all I want to do is eat! Ugh! #FamilyProblems
03/29 - 207.3 Thursday I went outside and walked again after dinner out with my girlfriends. It felt GREAT to be outside. I'm really looking forward to warm weather. My knee was pretty upset with me but I'm going to start small and build up. No running!
03/30 208.6 I actually ate a full sleeve of thin mints the past 2 days so thank goodness those are all gone. The sushi that I had on Thursday night usually causes water retention so I'm okay with the gain. No walking Friday night. It was raining after work and honestly I was in bed by 7pm and OUT!! Woke up at 1am, turned off my bedroom lights, and went back to sleep.

3/24 - 174.8 (FR) - 44g carbs, 36g net carbs. Carbs were: CRACKERS!, dill pickle, olives, celery in tuna, peanut butter, eggs. Yesterday was my last day of the 2 week 12/12 IF protocol. I will do it again if I think it's necessary, but only for one week. Week 1, I was definitely hungry at the end of the 12 hr fast. Week 2, I did not feel hungry until the 15th hour. My body was beginning to reset itself to my normal 18 to 20 hours of fasting.
3/25 - 173.8 - 29g carbs, 23g net carbs. Carbs were: eggs, strawberries, cabbage, cashews. My body is tired from my workout yesterday, but my weak lower body muscles are getting stronger. I've also been stretching my very tight IT band every day throughout the day to improve my knee. It's helping. I need my muscle roller massage stick today!
3/26 - 173.8 - 38g carbs, 29g net carbs. Carbs were: cabbage, peanut butter, celery in tuna, grape tomatoes, jalapenos, monk fruit sweetener (has carbs, but all fiber, no calories and no effect on blood sugar 😦??? O-kaaay) Keto friendly, resembles sugar, no aftertaste that I detect. I need to use it, bought it a year ago. The one I have is mixed with erythritol. It's 200-300 times sweeter than sugar, so why the mix? Probably, to stretch it, since monk fruit is very expensive and erythritol also has a couple of similar properties. I do have syrups and a greens food powder sweetened with only monk fruit. Very good, so good that it masks the taste of wheat grass powder which is quite nasty. Monk Fruit Sweetener
3/27 - 176 ⬅abs workout ☺ - 87g carbs, 74g net carbs. Carbs were: fried chicken, salad, cabbage, nuts. I was out all day, tired and hungry. Purchased a small snack bag of nuts, pumpkin seeds and dried fruit bits. 560 calories of really not much dried fruit or pepitas, mostly peanuts. The carb count not okay, but the calories balances the past week. I've been leaving a lot of calories behind and I don't like doing that. Did not take vitamins yesterday. It was bedtime when I thought of them. I need a lot of water to swallow pills, did not want to be running to the bathroom all night.
3/28 - 175.2 - 45g carbs, 39g net carbs. Carbs were: salad, coating on fried chicken, peanut butter, lemon juice, salad dressing.
3/29 - 174.6 - 29g carbs, 24g net carbs. Carbs were: green beans, broccoli, salad, fried chicken, lemon juice. Abs swelling finally coming down! Just in time for another abs workout😅
3/30 - 175.8 - 22g carbs, 17g net carbs. Carbs were: salad, salad dressing, guacamole, ingredients in turkey burger, peanut butter, turkey pepperoni, egg. It's going to be a lot of back and forth with my weight until my body adjusts to my exercise. All muscles are firing! Feels good to get back to it on a consistent basis, been a long time.

03/26- Hit 15,000 steps, watching my food portions, great to be on track again.
03/27- I have been going for 3 mile walks each morning, planned meals and no snacking. Back on track
03/28- 15,000+ steps almost made it to wear I started last year.
03/29-started running, logging and walking, stay in control of what I ate had a stressful day.

03/25 - 95.6 The best way to be rewarded for good behaviour is to see it on the scale I know it is just water for having no carbs and other water retention stuff, and it will probably not stick too long as is (or stick too long XD and plateau). Anyway great way to get motivated to get back on track.

03/24 - 210 starting this round with an increased weight, due to no one else but myself. I was binge eating yesterday so glad this was not worse than what it is. I have to get my head back in it. Doctor’s appointment tomorrow (check-up and blood work). After this will be assessing things and making some changes if necessary.
03/25 - 210.6 doctor appointment today and blood work.
03/26 – 209.8 the doctor’s visit went great, she is pleased with my progress so far (she did not know I was doing this again until yesterday). I got more blood work, I did not have to get the cholesterol because was good the last time. I don’t have to go back for another 6 months, which is great considering I was going every 3 months at one time. I also, was told not to focus too much on the numbers (example, saturated fats, sodium, etc. – these were concerns being on low cholesterol and with high blood pressure). Lastly, glad the weight is moving in this direction again.

Yesterday I wasn't perfect with my food but drank lots of water and did 16000 steps including a round of couch to 5 k.
Today, I'm out of the house from 9 to 8.30pm for work.... lunch and snacks are packed, but i don't see how I'll manage 10k steps.... let's see if I can surprise myself!
03/26 - 185.8 (-1) wasn't expecting that after just 5000 steps yest and no time to think about water etc. But, I'm taking it! C25K jog done this morning, shower now when brekkie lunch box and to work for an 11.5 hour day again, I will stay on plan!
