I don't but that's because I don't like carbonated drinks anymore. As a teenager, switching to diet soda from regular had me lose 20 pounds, so I think diet soda is a great option for people who want the taste without the calories.

No, I don't drink soda in general. I don't like the bubbles in it :') And if there is no, then it's too sweet for me.
    I drink water, coffee, tea.

Yes. I drink about two 12 packs of Coke Zero per week (I like Vanilla and Orange Vanilla as well). I think switching to diet soda, which I was afraid of before I met some really reasonable people on this board, is one of the main contributing reasons for my weight loss and continuing to keep it off. I think in the long run, if I had to give up soda, it would be unsustainable. Maybe for a few months, I could go without, but I'd probably cave. And drinking non-diet soda is a great way to pack on liquid calories.

Not very often. If I do, it's caffiene free, sugar free, and salt free. I prefer flavored water, Crystal Light has a great variety of flavors. Diet soda makes me want to snack - alot.

For me one reason I don't drink more diet soda than I do is because I find that I will not want water if I drink diet soda with lunch and dinner, for example. It's more that (concern that I won't drink enough water) than any fear about the sweeteners etc. For years before I started using My Fitness Pal, I would only drink coffee with breakfast, a can of diet soda at lunch & dinner...that is it, no water ever. So I wanna avoid that but I find even now, years into my drinking-tons-of-water habits, if I have that can of diet soda with my meal, water sounds meh and I'm not thirsty for it.

Like another poster, I lost an "effortless" 20-25 lb in my early twenties just switching from Dr. Pepper to Diet Pepsi, no other dietary changes.

I don't drink diet soda. I will treat myself to a regular fountain soda, every once and awhile. Water and tea for me, on the regular.

I do not. I have a medical condition that is food sensitive and artificial sweeteners are a trigger for me (I have tested this personally and they are a known possible issues for my specific issues).

I drink mostly water, tea (iced and hot), and Bubly sparkling water.

I've never been much of a soda drinker, but having said that when I did drink one is was always diet. I drank diet sodas from high school well into middle-adulthood. At my peak soda drinking phase I went through 1-2 cases a month. About 5 years ago, I switched from diet to regular. No regrets. I don't remember the last time I had one--more than 3 months ago. I made the switch because I drink them so infrequently that I figured the better taste of regular sodas was worth the calories. I drink mostly water, coffee, and alcohol a few nights a week.

I’ve never liked the taste of diet soda and it upset my stomach. I substituted sparkling water in place soda.

I like diet soda, but I think it leaves me with dry mouth and I prefer sucralose as a sweetener. I'm often making iced tea or lemonade with sucralose instead, but when I'm out I drink diet all the time.

I love my Diet Coke. I also drink unsweetened tea and water. I don’t like to drink anything sweet which is why I can’t stand regular pop or pop that’s sweetened with Stevia or sucrolose, just too sweet tasting. It’s also my caffeine fix as I don’t drink coffee.

I drink plenty of water but you can pry my Diet Pepsi from my cold, dead hands 🤣 I’ve never had any problems with my weight loss drinking it.

I prefer a good, strong cup of espresso with some sweetener sometimes during the day for my "pick me up".

I read a summary of a study once that said that even sparkling water increased appetite in some people as well as diet soda. Apparently, it isn't the diet soda, it's the carbonation. This doesn't seem to apply to everyone. Wish I had a link, it was interesting.

I highly recommend y’all give Zevia a try.

All flavors are zero calorie, some have caffeine if you want that. And none have artificial colors.

I discovered it when I was looking for a non calorie grape soda.

The only downside, it’s pretty expensive compared to regular pop. But when on sale, 67 cents per can.
