 04/03 205.1 (5416 steps but no exercise) Okay this is a good # to start a horse show on. Hopefully we'll see a lower # by Monday morning. I zoomed around the house last night trying to get things all packed, car cleaned out, then packed again, and still get to bed at a decent hour. The night before heading for a show is like Christmas Eve. It was after midnight before my mind settled down. It's going to be LONG, HARD days and not much sleep. I'll try to check in each night before bed.

            I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
 I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40 My average loss/gain since Round 40 to 63 is a 0.5lb loss each round. This was better than I expected!

 Apr 3 - 179.8 - II am struggling to stay disciplined and determined. I lost my job in December and the stress is starting to get to me. I am hoping with the nicer weather we are expected to have this round that I will feel better about getting out and walking.

 Well, harumph. My 10-day ave came down slighty, but yesterday I did have a series of snack attacks - big blueberry muffin + way too many nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews) + 2 Reese's PB cups. Not all at once! No, I spread my indulgences all through the day. Anyway, I'm off for blood work to recheck my inflammation levels and then for a long outdoor walk and then the gym for weights. And grocery for snacky veggies. And I need to drop the habit of eating while I write (I'm a writer/author and have a bad inclination to eat while I work). Gaaa! I really don't know what's gotten into me - it's been 4 years since I started this journey in earnest and I was definitely "in remission" re. sugar and simple carbs and just plain over eating. One thin I can do is go to the library to work - no food allowed! But also no coffee or water.... Anyway, today is another new beginning, right? Right. Anyway, I'm off for blood work to recheck my inflammation levels and then for a long outdoor walk and then the gym for weights. And grocery for snacky veggies.  04/03 177.7 I have been around the same weight for more than 2 months. My exercise is better than it's ever been in my life. I haven't been over calories more than 3 or 4 days in that time period. It makes no sense to me. I feel like a fraud when people mention my weight loss. I want to scream yes, I was doing very well but now I'm seriously stuck. My stress level isn't particularly higher than any other time. I'm traveling a lot for work, but no more than I did last year. I'm getting as much sleep and water as I was before. Really I can't figure out what's changed. It's like I hit the midway point and my body said - nope this is good enough for you.

 04/03: Today's weight is 170.4, the exact same weight as yesterday, and the day before that. Continuing to look for ways to cut calories and sneak some additional exercise. I'm beginning to feel like I'm plateauing again. I just want to get out of the 170's for good.

 04/03 …..189.6 ….. Those bits & pieces of calorie deficit & low carb each day finally added up to over a pound loss on the scale. Now I just need to stay focused. 1059 Calories In/2865 Calories Out. 8 Net Carbs. 17,881 Total Steps with a busy work day & a planned long walk. 8.56 Total Miles. IF 12:12 . 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 54 minutes. I took a long moderately paced walk totaling 150 minutes. I did not eat back my 717 Calorie burn for the walk. Another busy day at work. I must take the time to pre-plan my food so I don’t “grab & go”. That always ends in a nighttime binge & an overall disaster. Not today, nope, not today. Determined.

 04/03--211.6 Great workout with trainer yesterday. Yoga tonight. I'm also supposed to go out and do a 2 mile run, but there is rain in the forecast and I hate running on a treadmill...whether I go out for a run will be a last minute decision.
