04/04 153.2, need to be better about tracking food. I am good for breakfast and lunch and then at night I forget to log and weigh.
04/05 152.6, back at my lowest weight. Hope to be able to stay in the 152s through Monday.
04/06 153.3, back up but know it was from lasagna and caeser salad yesterday. Sodium was much higher than usual, but will make sure to be at 100 oz today of water and hopefully will be back down by Monday
04/07 153, ate well yesterday and exercised for 70 minutes on amt machine. Going to a basketball game tonight so weight might be more tomorrow, but going to enjoy the game!

By the time I got home from work yesterday at 6:30 I was so tired that I was asleep by 7:30. So I didn't eat enough calories but I did get 9 1/2 hours of sleep!
I'm going to a wine etiquette event for young professionals tonight. I am really looking forward to it and having the wiggle room to enjoy the wine and food. I just have to remind myself it takes 3,500 excess calories to put on a pound of fat. So I have no need to worry every time I go to an event that I'm going to blow myself out of maintenance. If the rain stops early I'll go for a jog before I head out for the night

Yesterday I forgot to put my fitbit back on so no step data. And this morning I couldn't weigh first thing, as I was sleeping over at a friend's house. So the weight I posted is after a big breakfast sandwich and 3 cups of coffee. I'm surprised it's not more but I think I'm pretty dehydrated, so I'll probably see a jump tomorrow π. Either way I didn't put it in my trend line app because I don't want to distort the data, so no trend today. Onward and upward!

Still no trend data as I didn't sleep at home again last night and that weight is from just now (4:00pm! So again I didn't put it in my app). I cannot believe my weight is this low, but the scale has fresh batteries. And yesterday was crazy food-wise, that's why I didn't even log, although I plan on doing so later today just to keep my streak going. After the big breakfast sandwich I had steak and potatoes for lunch-dinner, then at the movies I had a whole box of junior mints, then when I got home I had a brownie sundae. I guess this is what maintenance feels like. Stable weight, with insane food variances. Today I have eaten very little which I think also contributes. It's so nice to be in a place of not having to insane in my food control and allowing for the space to enjoy life.
I feel really grateful for this group. If it wasn't for JGM10D, I wouldn't have had the courage to weigh myself today and this could have turned into a *screw it* day, where I just eat every thing. But this group not only keeps me accountable, it got me in the habit of reading the forums daily which led me to reading how the long time maintainers orient their lives.

04/03 346.2 Well thatβs a nice start to the round. My nsv yesterday was a long walk outside. I managed 2100 steps in a single walk and will be working towards doing it twice a day by the end of the month.
04/04 347 Bounce, water retention from a late quick dinner because I forgot to plug in my crockpot. I also took my walk late. Iβm sure it will drop again.
04/05 345 Thereβs that big drop I knew was coming. I knew it had to be and hopefully Iβll see a few more small drops this round.
04/06 345.8 Another late dinner, low water, higher sodium day.
04/07 344.4 Iβm beginning to get used to this up down trend that I seem to have. Though I admit that I like the down so much better than the up. I tried moving my breakfast to a brunch and cutting out lunch yesterday. I ended up with a headache all day so Iβm not sure Iβll try it again soon.
04/08. 342 I thought I would continue down, but not by this much. I expect that Iβll see a bounce back up in a day or two. If not then maybe this is all the water weight finally going. I guess Iβll see what tomorrow brings.

4/3 - 174.6 - 175.4 is the right weight, abs workout yesterday. - 43g carbs, 41g net carbs. Carbs were: fried chicken, cabbage, grain free granola.
4/4 - 174 - 37g carbs, 28g net carbs. Carbs were: mexican squash w/vidalia onions (so tasty, but so carby!) peanut butter. Lots of stretching needed today from glute workout. πyow!
4/5 - 176.8 - Probably 175.8 I drank 16ozs of water just before weighing. Still holding fluid from butt and leg workout. Muscles are still on a low humπ My knee told me, unh-unh yesterday, so no walk. It was feeling unstable. Stretching and balance exercises accomplished. Raining today, but if it doesn't pour down, I may go for a walk in it. 40g carbs, 29g net carbs. Carbs were: cauliflower, peanut butter, mexican squash w/vidalia onions.
4/6 - 175.8 - 30g carbs, 24g net carbs. Carbs were: peanut butter, salad, salad dressing.
4/7 - 177.4 - Not surprised. I was not hungry for my first meal until the 19 hour mark (2pm) I don't fast on Saturdays. I did an arm and shoulder workout at 10:30pm and felt hungry afterwards. So I ate again at 12am! 51g carbs, 50g net carbs. Carbs were: crackers, green juice, grain free granola.
4/8 - 178- 85g carbs. Carbs were: everything I ate contributed to my carb count. I broke my fast at 2:30pm and "dinner" was 2 brownies.

04/03--211.6 Great workout with trainer yesterday. Yoga tonight. I'm also supposed to go out and do a 2 mile run, but there is rain in the forecast and I hate running on a treadmill...whether I go out for a run will be a last minute decision.

04/05--211.2 About 1 year ago my husband promised to take dance lessons with me. For the past year he has tried to get out of his promise, but I recently found an intro 4 week dance class that I thought would be perfect for us because it's only 4 weeks and we get to learn a different dance every week. My husband agreed to take the class and tonight is our first lesson...we'll see how it goes.
04/06--210.7 Well last night's dance lesson was great. My husband was chewing at his lip for about the first 15 minutes of lesson, it was definitely out of his comfort zone, but he did loosen up. At one point I even heard him tell a woman who had rotated as his new partner that she had much warmer hands than his wife. Last night's lesson was the rumba and he did promise that he would practice during the week. It was nice to go out and do something different. Went out for a 3 mile run today.
04/07--211.2 Weightlifting at gym today. In-laws came over today and we went out for lunch. I chose something to fit in my calories, but ate some extra snacks while they were over at our house so I expect it to show up on the scale tomorrow. Going to drink some more water today.
04/08--211.6 I don't think I'm out of the woods yet with the scale after yesterday's eating, but I'm back on track today. Run tonight...hopefully it won't be raining.

Now I just need to stay focused. 1059 Calories In/2865 Calories Out. 8 Net Carbs. 17,881 Total Steps with a busy work day & a planned long walk. 8.56 Total Miles. IF 12:12 . 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 54 minutes. I took a long moderately paced walk totaling 150 minutes. I did not eat back my 717 Calorie burn for the walk. Another busy day at work. I must take the time to pre-plan my food so I donβt βgrab & goβ. That always ends in a nighttime binge & an overall disaster. Not today, nope, not today. Determined.
04/04 β¦..188.8 β¦.. More improvement. Such a busy work day yesterday with no time for planned exercise, but I was on my feet a lot for sure! Today will be even busier. I started spring cleaning in one of the cabins. EVERYTHING comes out, including furniture. Wall washing today! Today I will go back to 16:8 in fasting as I was working on a metabolism reset. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 13 minutes. Yesterday was another good eating day which paid off!

Horrible stats for yesterday due to a binge late night. Best estimate on MFP food journal: 2340 Calories In / 2549 Calories out. 201 Net Carbs. 10,130 Total Steps & 4.31 Total Miles. IF 16:8 . 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 6 hours & 6 minutes which was probably a sugar crash. This is how it works & no amount of wishful thinking or regret can change it. Only I can through my actions. Iβll never give up.
04/06 β¦..189.8 β¦.. It comes off so much slower than it goes on! Holding steady thankfully after a late dinner out with son. I had a heavy work day again with little chance to exercise. Today I take my DGSs for their hair appointments & lunch. Tomorrow one of them has a birthday. Iβve got to get through these next two days without much damage so I will try to stay on high alert. Yesterdays stats: 1473 Calories In / 2471 Calories Out. 145 Net Carbs. 13,461 Total Steps & 5.7 Total Miles. IF 16:8. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 37 minutes. Hi everyone, I am back for another round. So I am still floating around the low 150's, still waiting for that whoosh to get me into the elusive 140's. This round ends on a Friday and only has 1 weekend in it, so it should go well. No out of town events or anything crazy happening the next couple of weeks, so would love to get some real progress done in the next 10 days, but we will see. Ended the last round at 150.4, my body loves the 150's so much it doesn't want to let go for anything, lol. My goal this round is 149 anything, same as the last 2 rounds. 04/03 - 149.6 yyyeeeaahhh!!! I finally made it back here. It has taken some work though. Did well yesterday, did have an alcoholic drink once I got home last night, but other than that no bread and no sweets. Now just to continue to stay in this decade and not go back up. I officially only have 9.6 pounds left to lose. I am in single digits, lol.
04/04 - 148.8 What in the **** is going on. I can't believe I had another drop. I hit 150 something on 3/13 and could not budge from that number. Now I have had 2 nice drops on the scale in 2 days. I'm taking it and hoping to stay the course. I have officially lost 30 pounds as of today. I started trying to lose weight in July of 2018 and it has taken me a little longer than I thought it would. My initial time frame was 5 - 6 months to lose the whole 40 pounds I wanted to lose. 9 months and 30 pounds later I am still not at goal weight, but I am getting closer. Pretty much my average monthly weight loss is just over 3 pounds instead of the 6-8 I was striving for. Oh well, I finally made it to the 30 pound mark, so I am going to pat my self on the back and keep trucking. It's so funny because last week I was so frustrated and overwhelmed with the lack of progress I almost gave up. I'm glad I didn't and kept pushing my self. Somebody posted a couple of weeks ago that they actually weighed what their drivers license said they did, so I looked at mine. Well I put 150, which was obviously not the truth, but I actually weigh less than that now. No alcohol, bread, or sweets yesterday and staying on plan for today. My hubby and I do have date night with another couple planned, but I said I would drive (that way I have the perfect excuse not to drink any extra calories tonight). I love a good beer or cocktail on date night, but I will sacrifice the next couple of weeks to get where I want to be.
04/05 - 148.1 Didn't lose anything for weeks and in 3 days I lose 2 pounds. I am definitely expecting an uptick pretty soon. I only ate about 600-700 calories yesterday. I was slammed at work all day so only ate about 400 calories during the day and then by the time I got home, fed the family, did homework with kids, and then got ready myself, I was out of time. I grabbed a piece of grilled chicken I had cooked and a couple of bites of the mac and cheese and we left. Since I was driving I only drank ice tea at the bar and chose not to get any of the appetizers even though I was still kind of hungry. Normally I would have easily ate and drank a 1000 if not more calories last night, so I'm happy that I stayed the course. The play was good that we went to see and I had fun with our friends and my hubby, so all in all it was a great date night. Busy weekend scheduled like always, so hopefully I can stay on track and not gain to much for Mondays weigh in.
04/06 - 148.8 up a bit. Had some wings from hooters last night, but also a huge salad as my main course. So Iβll take the couple of ounces. 2nd oldest and middle child have prom tonight. So pictures and getting ready for that will be on the schedule for tonight. So far so good with my eating. Off to do shopping and errands. Hopefully will see another 140 something tomorrow.
04/07 - 150.3 expected! Texas Roadhouse for dinner last. So good! Just trying to stay on track today and maybe go down a couple ounces by tomorrow.
04/08 - 152.8 uuuggghh! Normal weekend bump. It will be gone in a day or 2. I know it's all sodium from eating out. We hardly ever eat out during the work week, but my weekends are so crazy, we just grab and go half the time. Yesterday was within maintenance calories, but we did not eat dinner till 8:30 (Wendy's) and then I went to bed around 9:30. Had to help middle child and her friends with a rube goldberg project that was suppose to take an hour. 6 hours later we were finally finished and hungry. On track today with lots of water and meals planned!

04/05 182.6 one of the pluses about having kids on the spectrum is that there are worries other parents have that you don't have. Yesterday DS turned 19, legal drinking age here. We had sushi, one glass of wine and some chocolate cake then we went for a long walk. So I burned off all the cake calories, and at the end of the night I knew where he was, safe and sound in his own home talking about video games with his brother.

04/03 - 142.8 - dropped a pound already but I guess today was the official start so thatβs where Iβm starting.
04/04 - 142.5 - dropped .3 in a day, not too bad, that would be 3lbs by the end of this if I can keep it up.
04/05 - 141.6 - dropped .9 maybe going a little too fast. Didnβt quite reach my calorie goal yesterday but one day doesnβt hurt. Iβll try to be closer today.
04/06 - 142.4 - gained .8, i knew yesterday was a bit too fast but also had sweets yesterday and ate a little later than normal. It was a stressful day as well BUT its ok because today will be better and tomorrows weight will be less.
04/07 - 142.2 - small loss and more reasonable/expected results. Iβll take it. I also added in some Yoga yesterday previously I was just focused on eating right because have been on doc restriction from exercise but now I can add in yoga and I am so excited. I absolutely love Yoga. Yesterdayβs practice was amazing.

We 03/04: 165.8: Goals: β Busy day, but managed to fit my exercise in early
Th 04/04: 165.4: Goals: β 'Free' day today, so worked on decluttering my craft room.
Fri 05/04: 166.0: Goals: β Final Boditrax assessment this afternoon. Good progress made. Reduced metabolic age to 62, increased muscle mass, reduced fat mass, so I am very happy. All my stats were improved.
Sa 06/04: 166.3: Goals: β granddaughter is home for a long weekend so we took advantage of the gorgeous spring weather to have a family day out. Lots of walking. Restaurant lunch, but made healthy choices, and drank lots of water to combat sodium.
Su 07/04: 166.4: Goals: β Felt out of sorts today, despite sensible choices at the restaurant yesterday.
Mo 08/04: 165.8: Goals: β Great day today. Unexpected after the weekend, but a nice little whoosh this morning. It will probably bounce back up tomorrow.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

04/04 133.8 lbs - I did have a Starbucks drink yesterday ;;
04/05 132.6 lbs - Well this is a much better number, I haven't gone over any calorie goals so far.
04/06 132.6 lbs - I overate yesterday ;; enough to maintain weight. Its because I always get the munchies real bad when I watch shows. I will try to have more willpower next time.
04/07 131.6 - On track again, I hope I can get into 120s this month
04/08 131 - I made an amazing smoothie this morning its so good ;o;

Hi. My name is Trina. I've been mostly in since round 54, with a break for travel to NYC, appendicitis, and spring break. We spent spring break in Utah, day hiking in the national parks and logged 60 miles over 8 days. On vacation, I ate protein for breakfast, a reasonable lunch, a bit of gorp while hiking, corn chips after hiking (for the salt) and a large but protein & veggie heavy dinner. I didn't log, but mostly paid attention to what I ate. Happy to say that all the hiking meant I still ended up with a bit of a loss. I have about 10 pounds left to my current ultimate goal weight. Still hoping to get a bit leaner! We can do this!!!

04/03 140 Happy start to the round. I think I may be losing a bit of water weight from extra carbs over the Utah hiking trip!
04/04 139 Easy walk through the neighborhood with my mom yesterday. We went four miles, had to keep her moving after all the Utah hiking!
04/05 138.5 Took a fast four mile walk followed by a 5 mile walk with friends. Drank lots of water.
04/06 139.5 Good during the day, but had pizza and a brownie for dinner (salad, too). NSV--only ate one slice of pizza!
04/07 139.5 Off with my son and his team at a Destination Imagination contest all day yesterday. Eggs for breakfast, and eggs in a burrito for lunch. But the chocolate was calling me, and I indulged in a few mini- resees' peanut butter cups and mini kit-kats, and chocolate chip cookies squares. Salads and a brownie for dinner. Off to a better day today. Teddy's team did fantastic though and won the competition! Now to see if we can get support to compete at the next level!
04/08 139 Forgot to put my fitbit on yesterday...but was probably low on steps anyway! NSVs -- stopped at the store to buy some clothes. The small tops fit!! I had mostly got rid of my XL shirts and was wearing L, small was a surprise. I'm not really sure if the fact that a size 4 pair of jeans fits, means that you should buy it.....but they were only $8.99, so what the heck! I'm a bit suspicious, honestly, of some of those smaller pant sizes! And at zumba today, I actually thought I looked pretty good in the mirror! Thanks for letting me share. Have a happy day everyone!

Today is going ok too, but may be up due to salt today and tomorrow but should be back down on Thursday if I do my water right. The salt is a beast! I lost 3 pounds on WW this week. I just noticed what my goal weight is for Friday! I would really need to hunker down to reach that weight by Friday....with work meetings not sure I can do that but I can sure try. Still have not completed taxes
