04/12 - 194.6 This is happening more & more frequently, so I think it’s my “new normal”. Hit a new low, go up about a pound for several days, drop to the old low & beyond over the course of 2-3 days. Rinse, lather, repeat. 🤷🏻♀️

04/14 - 194.2 Tomorrow is the last day of one of the long-term challenges I’m in. I’d love to see a new low, or at least the one I caught a glimpse of last week! 🤞🏼
04/15 - 193.2 Wish granted! Net loss of 0.4 from last week. Excited to see if it continues to fall! 💫
04/16 - 193.2 Had a (large, delicious) impromptu dinner out with friends so I was expecting far worse! 🍲

04/15/19- 166.8 I think this is my lowest weight yet. I ate a salad for lunch yesterday, and watched my sodium intake. When I hit 165.5, that will be 40 total pounds lost. Would love for that to happen on this round!
04/14/19- 168.4 It’s okay. Went to Outback for lunch, and ate my entire baked potato. It was well worth the uptick. I was back on track today.

04/13 - 140.7 I believe this is the TOM drop I was waiting for in the last challenge, better late than never. I also cut white carbs yesterday that I had been eating through the previous week. -1.1lbs
04/14 - 140.7 I guess it has to slow down at some point. My diet was on point and I met my exercise goal yesterday as well. I also drank a ton of water yesterday (12cups). Not sure why the stall. Will see what tomorrow brings.
04/15 - 140 I did weigh in 3 hours later than normal so might be a little off but progress nonetheless.

I’m making some assumptions here but I’m thinking you’re a female so I have calculated accordingly. If not please let me know as it does change the caloric need.
At 5’6 184lbs with a goal in the normal range (I picked 140) with a sedentary lifestyle (office job or something without a lot of activity), working out at least 3x a week at 15min a week... your BMR would be 1521. Meaning you would need to eat 1521 calories just to survive and not send your body into “survival mode”. I wouldn’t suggest eating anything less than that even when trying to lose weight.
If I’m off with any of the details (which I likely am) let me know and I can recalculate for you. Feel free to send me a private message if preferred.6 -

You’re welcome. There is a bit of flexibility there but I think if you start at 1550 or so you should see steady losses and not feel wiped out. Just keep in mind that as you lose weight your BMR drops and you will need less calories but for now I wouldn’t worry about that just get started with the 1550ish goal. Good luck!3 -

I just started in the middle of round 73 and, although I have lost 4 pounds , I find it really hard to stay within 1200 calories. I was over yesterday and today by 540 calories. Yikes. Does it get easier after a few weeks?
I started out on a 1200 calorie diet. I do 1300 now. I will admit that I had to get creative to come in under my calories when I was at 1200. My diary is open if you would like some ideas.

04/14 186.3 lbs goal for today: walk at least an hour and track water
04/15 186.6 lbs had a bad day yesterday with cramps and back pain, so not much activity. Food-wise it was an ok weekend. Looking at Monday motivated!
04/16 186.1 lbs Yesterday was a very good day exercise wise and also food wise. Even had some calories left over for a piece of chocolate (and stayed under my carbs goal! Yay!). Let’s do this again today!

Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight – but I am finding it difficult!

04/16 133.8 – pleased with that after 3 days eating out & not being in control of how meals are prepared/cooked, I did try to make as many healthy choices as possible. Visited Sandringham House & Estate yesterday, walked just over 5 ½ miles yesterday.
