I greatly decreased my junk intake (candy, chips, sugary cereal, etc..). I did quit soda 95 days ago I feel much better without it. I have a binging problem when it comes to soda so I had to cut it loose. I mostly drink water and protein shakes everyday. In January I took up a cool cardio workout called cardio drumming! I absolutely LOVE cardio drumming. You can find cardio drumming videos on youtube I still eat occasional candy and chips but I don't eat them in such big quantities like I used to. I HIGHLY recommend tracking what you eat. Once I started doing that I was like "Holy Shiz, what am I doing to my body?" Those calories and the sugar add up fast!19 -

If I was told it would take me 18 months to achieve “something” when I first started, I may have been so discouraged that I might have abandoned the process. next step in your life, is Keto. Instead of candy and chips you can have Choc Zero candy bars, Pork Rinds in a cheese sauce, and you can still enjoy snacks but not sacrifice health for it. Once you get fat adapted you might find yourself being more clear headed. The first time in my life that I ever started making my bed every morning was after I started doing Keto, because the energy I had straight out of bed, was something I had never experienced. Don't get me wrong it's not easy getting out of bed, but after I do so I'm ready to face the world. I was a physical spinny drive and then I upgraded to SSD and now I boot up instantly rather than take half an hour to become usable.
Maybe you won't like Keto, but to me, the things I eat on Keto, feel like cheats compared to what I used to eat. I used to love tunafish sandwhiches in tomatoe bisque, and felt guilty putting cheese on the sandwhiches. Now to me that is junk food, and eating hamburger meat, with tons of seasoning, and mozzarella cheese with sugar free BBQ sauce and eggs is health food. Oh and butter. Wonderful delicious, healthy butter. Lactose intolerant? Cook the butter in pan until the protein particles in the butter fat, cook out, strain it into a glass jar, and CONGRATULATIONS! You now have Ghee. Even better for you and without those pesky inflammatory proteins, so now theoretically the lactose shouldn't be an issue!
I love my new life, and my new me is why I'm here preaching a more ancestral eating route, to try and help make the lives of other people struggling easier.23 -

Nice! I'm very happy for you! Unfortunately for me I cannot do Keto as per my neurologist suggestion not to But it is all good! We all have to find what works for us.17 -

Okay, so I'm only a little over halfway done BUT I found my staff pic from our yearbook last year and yikes lmao. I've been losing weight since last July, so coming up on one year of work.
