Hell yes Fitnessgirl0913! Last week during TOM I literally looked like I was 5 months pregnant. That *kitten* can really mess with your mind.7

Ever since being on this thread I don’t freak out during my time of the month when it looks like I’m carrying twins. This thread has been so good for me mentally, so thank you ladies.
I looked at this picture I took a couple weeks ago and was annoyed that I wasn’t perfectly flat. Then I remembered I have a uterus lol. Sounds silly but it’s honestly true.18 -

I just want to say thank you for this thread. I had my first babe four months ago and had an unrealistic expectation that my stomach would be the same after 😂 so I no longer have anxiety about not having my beach body right after having a baby! THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SO BRAVE and inspiring so many.19

I'm having a pity party about my five or so pound bounce, and this thread was just what I needed today. I bumping in the hope that it's just what someone else needs, too.
Power to all you amazing women, and I'm looking forward to joining the ranks of the "normal".19 -
Bumping good threads because I'm bored12

I love this thread!!
I've taken my BMI from 35 to 29 in the last year and body fat % from 42% to 35.5% and still going strong! (Overall weight is less important but 212lbs to 176lbs in the last year). The results would/could be better but I quit smoking cigarettes 3/31 and decided to let myself eat the crap for 2-3 weeks. Now I'm good and headed back in the right direction.
My goal is not to look like an IG model by any means, but that doesn't mean I don't like seeing real, fit, healthy women in all their glory, rolls and all. Thank you for this!11 -

I could tell when I woke up that it was my monthly bloat day 🤣 So I decided to capture it. Oh the difference 4 hours can make!
I used to get so upset by this but now I accept that it’s something I have NO control over. Age has brought with it wisdom...and stretchy yoga pants!29 -
Hooray for stretchy yoga pants!12

Hahaha, I was going to comment on the stretchy yoga pants.
With age and wisdom (comfort not fashion) I took to wearing them too much and put on my one and only 30 lbs gain without noticing because they stretched so well. As did the accompanying stretchy tops.
Still wear them, and love them, just don’t go decades without weighing myself anymore.
Cheers, h.20 -
BMI of 24 is the high side of fit. BMI of 27 is the high side of normal.Safari_Gal wrote: »
I think the earlier poster was confusing BMI with body fat %
Athletes 14–20%
Fitness 21–24%
Average 25–31%
Obese 32%+
Because there is no "fit" in the BMI scale, that is in the BF% scale.
24% is the high end of fitness, but 27% is dead center for average, not at the high end.
To the Original post the first poster was replying to, 24.2 BMI is on the higher end of normal BMI range.8 -

(not sure why these are sideways... can't seem to fix them)
Age: 29
BMI or Height/Weight/Bone Structure: BMI - 20.4; 5'6"/126.4 lbs/medium-large frame
BF%: Not sure
Number of Pregnancies: 0
Medical Conditions affecting appearance: None
Primary form of exercise: Calisthenics, walking, and HIIT
Number of years doing aforementioned exercise: I have exercised on and off since I was a teenager so about 15 years and was very athletic for most of my life. I gained and lost over 100 lbs twice (once in my second year of college and another about 2 years ago). My abdomen, arms, and thighs were affected, layered slightly with squishy fat. As time passes and with continued exercise, fortunately the skin is starting to tighten up as I lose fat. I used to lift heavy, but lately (the past year and a half) I've been sticking to body weight training, HIIT, and lots of walking.17 -
This was when I lost weight before I regained again. You can see I still had a slight roll around the middle even when I stood up but I learned to not worry about it.
Age: 31
BMI or Height/Weight/Bone Structure: BMI - 22.7; 5'7"/145 lbs/size 2-4 (curvy fit)
BF%: Unknown
Number of Pregnancies: 0
Medical Conditions affecting appearance: Scoliosis, Hypothyroidism
Primary form of exercise: Walking, strength training (but not compound)
Number of years doing aforementioned exercise: 1-2 while I was losing weight6 -

You look awesome💪7 -
I was feeling leaner this morning and wanted to post a few pictures in comparison to those I posted last night. The first two are right before I worked out this morning with yoga pants on, the second 2 are immediately after I woke up this morning. Sorry again for the sideways images...11 -
Thank you @VegjoyP.
Thanks for posting that second set of photos @umbramirror. They are a lot clearer. I was really confused with the first set because your tattoo looked like a scar, but then you said you hadn't had any pregnancies or skin removal surgery. And I didn't want to ask. Great job losing that much weight.5 -
Ha! No problem @mom23mangos. I didn't realize that, but now that I'm looking at it in the picture it does look like a scar. Oops. 😣 Awful tattoos. 😅 Anywho, thanks!4
