06/23- 247 got my sweet Hank out for a walk today, happy dog. Light work around the house
06/24- 245 I have been stuck at 248 for foreverrrr. Is this just water loss, is it that I’m sticking to a calorie count? Hummm. I will not write about food here because it makes me hungry when I read it and other people’s post. Eeek. Tomorrow I have to really watch myself because in the evening friends come and there is something I really want to be able to have!
Does anyone use bulletproof coffee? I have ordered the brain octane. A fitness gaI have started following on Facebook says she puts that in her coffee in the morning instead of breakfast. I’m not a big breakfast eater so I would rather have a little something that way then be forced to sit down and eat breakfast. I know, Breakfast is a big deal, sometimes I try to at least have a hard-boiled egg but I really don’t like eating until 11. When I IF it’s perfect, by the time I get done with dinner I’m not supposed to be eating again until around 10.
06/25
06/26 -242 not sure I am posting correctly. I know I noted Yesterday but can’t find the entry. Bulletproof Brain Octane arrived yesterday so I’ll give that a try. Friends visiting, thought I’d be wayyyy over my calories but did fine. I wish MyFitness food tracking was like Cronometer. That is the best for a full view of intake. Far more comprehensive. Little to no exercise today. Still recovering from back procedure. Back on prescription Vit D which has really boosted my mood, energy.

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. I have been participating in this challenge since Round 40.

@anantsaxena07 Have you seen a doctor? Our daughter experienced crazy weight loss after the birth of her first baby. She was losing about a pound a day no matter what she ate. She was nursing and her thyroid had gone wacky. It was corrected with meds, I believe, but that was 24 years ago and I don’t recall the details.4

I had a wonderful last round! I hope I can keep it up and make my goal in the next couple of course. Let’s do this!

6/22: 187.4 (Forgot to post yesterday but I maintained at the same low weight and went out the night before for wings and fries. Not sure how I maintained without a workout either. That’s a plus!)
6/23: 189.4 (wow I definitely feel sore this morning from yesterday. I did a 5K training workout but most likely it’s from hosting a party and being on my feet all day and some dancing too. I made a whole BBQ feast but had very little of everything. I’m sure it’ll all go down once my soreness clears.)
6/24: 190.4 (Not what I wanted to see but it is what it is. I did a Zumba class yesterday and made grilled chicken kabobs, rice and asparagus for dinner.)
6/25: 190.0 (A step in the right direction! I did not do a workout and make some potato corn chowder for dinner last night.)
6/26: 189.6 (Weekend weight gain is slowly coming off. I'm hoping for a whoosh soon from how good I've been the last few days at sticking to my goals. I added some more running to my 5K training. I'm now running 15 out of 30 minutes. I have to say my legs are on fire now! I made some quesadillas and chips with salsa since I was too lazy to cook.)
6/27: 189.2 (My body only likes to release 0.4 pounds a day haha. Still hoping for that whoosh but I'm soooo sore from the Power Circuit class I went to last night at the gym. I'm sure tomorrow I'm going to be 100% worse. I had some pasta for dinner last night.)

I stopped tracking during most of the last round. There ended up being a lot of unanticipated social events, my TOM arrived, and I also spent a lot of time simply relaxing for the first few days of summer vacation.
I'd like to workout each day and not neglect my water intake. My past rounds show when I'm diligent and focused I can expect results. I expect to be one pound lighter by the end of the challenge.

06/22 DNW Took my dad out to a few breweries for his Father's Day present. We had a great time!
06/23 DNW Tidied the house, walked downtown, took the dog for a walk around the neighborhood, and planned exercise and meals for the week.
06/24 DNW I got an oil change, grocery shopped, cleaned my living room, mowed the front yard, and did an exercise DVD today. I made sure to drink my water and I cooked all of my meals. Busy and productive!
06/25 DNW I'll weigh-in again tomorrow morning. I wanted to give my body some time to recover from my poor food and exercise choices last week and I wasn't ready to face the number on the scale. I purchased a 10 lb kettle bell today and have done a 15 minute workout. It's fun and different at the moment and I'm excited to add it to my workout rotation. I also got an air fryer and I made some delicious salmon in it for lunch. It's a little small, but I hardly ever have to cook for more than the two of us. I'm planning on making air fried chicken thighs for dinner. I've had a can of seltzer with lunch, I have a full 15 oz water bottle to get through, and then I'll be drinking water with dinner. No beer for me until I get at least 45 oz of water!
06/26 181.8 lb The air fryer was a such a fun purchase! I made salmon and chicken yesterday and will make breaded pork cutlets tomorrow. I love how it cooks the food without heating up the house. The kettlebell was also really effective. My muscles are pleasantly sore in my legs, core, and arms. 😀 I'm planning on cleaning my basement, installing a dartboard, and giving my dog a long walk today and I'll be going to trivia tonight with my family.
06/27 181.8 kb We won trivia last night! I love going out because it reminds me about all of the things I don't know and it shows off the knowledge my family members have. My mother is fantastic at presidential trivia and my fiance is scarily good at pop culture questions. I'm getting my car fixed at the moment, then I'm going to spend the afternoon at my mother's house and tonight I'll be watching Rocket Man at the movie theater.

Thank you. I’m really trying to get my head into this weight loss process again. One moment at a time.5 -
@nikki062181 This 38-year-old just finished up round 80 with a 4.2lb loss. Yay!!!! I met my goal but barely the last 10 days. Here is to meeting it again in this 10 days. I was 17lbs from my goal weight and have since gained 17 additional pounds. I'd like to at least lose those 17 lbs before I have to start teaching again. I've had it hard the last year. My MIL, who I consider my Mom, passed away from a long battle with lung cancer. My Grandpa passed away 8 months later. I graduated from college while being married and having 3 kiddos, and completed my first year in the classroom last year. I also found out that my middle child is battling multiple mental illnesses, which were triggered by the loss of his Grandma. I had to take a step away from my weight loss journey. My family needed me, but I need to be healthy too. So, here I am...going for it again.
GOALS FOR THE WEEK!
First step: Continue to track calories
Second step: Continue to measure my portions
Third step: Continue to cut out carbonated beverages
Fourth step: Continue to cut out too many sweets
5th step: Push water!!!!
6th step: Take my B12 supplement daily at lunch because I have a deficiency
7th step: Walk 15 minutes a day at minimum and do arm exercises starting on Monday for this goal.
OSW: 232 lbs
CSW: 154.8 lbs
CGW: 150 - 151
UGW: 125 lbs
Here is to wishing we can all achieve our goal! 🙏
6/22: 154.8 I ate a very healthy, high protein lunch yesterday, so I could have pancakes, hashbrowns, and a flurry for my birthday treat. I am so glad I did because I did not want to wake up and regret my weight gain this morning. I had almost forgotten to take my B12 also, so I ended up taking that one late. I'm very inconsistent with the time I weigh myself too. When I head back into work in August, times will finally be consistent. Until then, I want to enjoy when I get up...whenever that is.
6/23: 154.2 My son begged me not to make anything healthy because his gf came over last night, and he didn't want to be embarrassed. My husband asked me to eat whatever I wanted when I ordered carryout from this pizza joint. I knew I had treated myself already because of my birthday on Friday. So, I had a salad with extra protein and some breadsticks. It paid off. 😁
6/24: 153.8 I have really been enjoying these smoothies for breakfast. They're quite yummy. Since I have life threatening food allergies, I have to be creative when making some things. So, I cannot use a lot of fruit or fillers like most are able to. However, the ones I've been having are quite refreshing.
6/25: 152.6 A NEW LOW for many months! I did not do well on the water intake. I did complete my first day of exercise on the 30 day challenge. I changed it from arm to full body. Since it finally did not rain either, I went biking for a half hour too.
6/26: 152.4 I struggled yesterday. I was not feeling well at all. I didn't eat or drink well. I did complete my full body workout though. I remember why I cannot stand squats.
6/27: 154.4 🤔 Maybe because I ate later or did not drink enough? 🤷♀️7 -

Started Round 81
Female – Age: 31 – 5’ 8” - New Orleans, LA, USA
OSW: 169.8 lbs (9/4/2018)
UGW: 145 lbs
MGW: 148 lbs
Background: My kiddo turns 2 in one month! For his whole first year, I was BFing and didn’t worry about my weight at all (although some came off without trying). After we weaned, I actually gained weight because I hadn’t adjusted my intake from what I ate while nursing and automatically burning more calories. So I started tracking again, and lost 10 pounds in 2 months. I gained a little back at the end of last year, but I’ve been much more focused in 2019. As of the start of this round, I’m 10 pounds down from the beginning of the year and 18 pounds down since my start last year.
I’ve been much more consistent with working out than I have in years – I’ve been getting to my kickboxing gym three times per week unless we are out of town, and I can feel the improvement in my technique and stamina.
Round 81 Goals: Stick with the plan that I’ve set up for the next week! Breakfasts and lunches for the work week are already prepped. Dinners are planned and fit within my goals. I have the time to get to the gym 3 times. Would love to see a weight below 149 on the scale, but mostly want to make sure I’m solidly at/below that 150.
06/23 – 150.0: FINALLY! I had been creeping towards 150 all year but haven’t been this low since before getting pregnant (2.5 years ago). All food was tracked and under calorie goal, but not the best choices. Lots of meal prep tonight!
06/24 – 151.8: Womp. Normal fluctuation, but this one did sting a little after yesterday’s excitement. Eating at work was 100% on target, water was ok, and evening workout was awesome. For dinner, I’m glad I took the time to weigh my ingredients even though it was a recipe I have made many times before and already had built into my recipe tracker (SkinnyTaste Skillet Chicken Cordon Bleu – so easy and one of our faves). I bought my “thin sliced” chicken breasts at a different store than normal, so they were bigger than I’ve gotten in the past, and my sliced ham weighed a little more too. Not a make or break (especially for a lean protein), but the recipe update was a difference of 100 calories! I try not to eat back my workout calories, but if I hadn’t updated the recipe, I likely would have allowed myself a little extra treat after dinner, based on a deficit that wasn’t as big as I had thought.
06/25 – 149.6: Might have broken the scale jumping up and down in excitement! My first weight below 150 and 20 pounds lost!
06/26 - 149.8: No workout yesterday and eating dinner a little later, so totally fine with the maintenance even though my calories were right on. We decided to go hang out with family last night, so instead of throwing my meal plan out the window, I offered to bring what I was making (and had already tracked) for dinner, and it went over well! NSV: I'm fitting back into most of the things in my pre-pregnancy wardrobe. It's opened up so many options that I've had to pass on over the last two years, so now I am dressing up a little more and I'm getting outfit compliments from my coworkers!
06/27 - 149.6 Nice! Only thing I wasn't happy about eating yesterday was the cookie cake for a coworker's bday, but I kept my piece small and tracked it as best as I could estimate and didn't have any other snacks during the day. Feeling good, and excited to get back to the gym tonight.

Day/Weight/Comment:
06/22 - 137.4 lbs: Same as yesterday. Ate pretty well but didn't have much of a deficit. Plus, ate late, which I prefer not to do but we got home late. Oh well, at least it's not a gain.
06/23 - 138.4 lbs: Not going to sweat it, normal fluctuation. It's the end of TOM for me, might be that, might be not enough water and too much salt yesterday. Heading out to play pickleball in the sun for a few hours, it's a beautiful day.
06/24 - 138.4 lbs: Grrr. Sigh. Worked out 3 hours in the sun yesterday, drank lots of water, ate right at my calorie goal (didn't eat back my workout calories though). Deep breath, still walking the walk. Sometimes the scale is not my friend. I know this. And sometimes it gets stuck for a few days and then shows me a nice big loss. Crossing fingers...
06/25 - 138.4 lbs: Surprise! Oh well, guess I'll hang out at this number for a while. Ate pretty well yesterday, sodium intake was probably high and I think I ate some expired yogurt, had major intestinal upset at the end of the day and that's the only thing I think it could be. Another rest day for me but will try to get some body weight exercises in by days end. Also planning to clean the house a bit today, let's call that a work out .
06/26 - 137.4 lbs: Woohoo, back to where I started this round, I'll take it. Didn't eat much yesterday, just wasn't hungry and it was my second rest day in a row.
06/27 - 137.4 lbs: Ate well yesterday, worked out, drank lots of water, did all the right things. Just going to keep on keeping on. 4 more days to maybe get a little lower than where I started this round.

If all goes well I should see my goal of 60 pounds lost since starting my journey and get close or into the high 310’s.
06/22 322.8 I took it easier yesterday due to the 110 heat here so this is a loss of the water weight I had put on yesterday.
06/23 322.2 So close... My steps remain good, a little over 7k yesterday if the midday heat hadn’t been so bad I would have hit 8k. Today the rain and a bit of muscle tenderness is going to keep my steps lower. I’d rather nurse it for a day than pull it and be down a week, which is what happened last time I didn’t listen to my body.
06/24 321.4 Yay! That makes a little over 60 pounds lost since I started this journey. Hopefully I’ll see the end of the 320’s soon, they have been a little rough for me. I didn’t rest enough yesterday so today will be a full rest day to deal with a still sore calf muscle.
06/25 321.0 I’m so happy to see another loss. I think I have figured out some of what has been causing the bouncing and have adjusted my food plan. Judging by the lack of bounce since the shift I might have this figured out now.
06/26 321.8 Inflammation and hormones are the reason for this bounce. I’m also very hungry this morning. I’ve had the same thing happen at the same point in my cycle since I started this journey and usually I end up binging around dinner time. I’m going to try to make a plan and hopefully stay on track.
06/27 319.0 It’s the 310’s finally! I think that I lost all the water that has been masking weight loss. I double checked this four times, on the fourth it was a little lower, but I decided to record the higher since it came up first. I won’t be surprised if I have a bounce back up a little, that happens to me sometimes after a high drop. I stayed on track yesterday and added in some instant breakfast to my plain yogurt to satisfy my chocolate craving. When I wanted crunchy mid afternoon I snacked on an apple and peanut butter instead of crackers and cereal.

After reading about 20 hours of posts, I see that many of us are struggling with EXERCISE! I hate exercise, getting sweaty, hurting, etc. My friend and I have been coming up with all sorts of reasons to not go - lunch date (me) work (her) vertigo (me) son (her) but mainly I think it is because she is depressed and I am LAZY! I admit it, I would be content to sit all day in my pjs playing on the computer or watching lost anything on TV! My hope is that this “confession” will kick me out of the summer doldrums! We all can do this if we support each other and lift each other up. LET’S DO IT!11

Day/Weight/Comment
06/11 …..197.7….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
06/22 …..197.4 ….. A great day for me yesterday. Yesterday’s stats: 1300 Calories In / 3211 Calories Out. 18 Net Carbs. 21,607 Total Steps & 9.14 Total Miles. Lots of work activity. Planned exercise was 104 minutes of yardwork, 60 minutes of heavy cleaning & 32 minutes of Dancing. Sample song (I’ve used this one before) was “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder. Moderately paced it has the funk I needed to want to keep dancing some more. It will really get your groove on. Give it a try! Good luck everyone is Round 81.
06/23 …..196.4 ….. Another pound of whoosh! Cravings were pretty bad last night but I focused on the fact that I was not actually hungry to stave them off. Sipping on water helped but I was up & down all night shedding water. No biggie, I never expect to get much sleep anyway. Yesterdays stats: 1397 Calories In / 2391 Calories Out. 19 Net Carbs. 10,305 Total Steps & 4.36 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 9 minutes. More paperwork yesterday & less activity. I did manage to get in a 15 minute dance workout. Sample song “Sweet Emotion” by Aerosmith. . Sundays are physically active with room & cabin cleaning. We had a company picnic here with all the rooms taken so I’ll be off to work as soon as I’m done with my coffee! Have a great Sunday everyone!
06/24 …..196.4 ….. I’m the Exact…. Same…. Weight… as yesterday & a little disappointed after burning so many calories & having so many steps & miles. However, I know weight loss isn’t linear so I will keep the faith (and patience). Yesterday’s stats: 1392 Calories In / 3279 Calories Out. 11 Net Carbs. 20,180 Total Steps & 8.54 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Steps Hours & I slept 4 hours & 54 minutes. I worked like a dog yesterday & even caught myself barking once or twice (joking!). Today is mild but rainy. It will be a challenge to get my steps in.
06/25 …..196.6 ….. This must be a normal fluctuation because everything was on point yesterday. I did drink a high powered protein drink because my protein would have otherwise been low (doctor’s orders for the hair loss). Most of my other carbs were from friendly veggies. Yesterday’s stats: 1181 Calories In / 2407 Calories Out. 28 Net Carbs. 10,292 Total Steps & 4.36 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 7 minutes and I awoke a bit tired. I have a lot of customers today at my home business. I hope to fit in a dance session without being interrupted but that is always difficult. Doors & phones Ugg but I am thankful for the business.
06/26 …..196.6 ….. A well planned day yesterday with no slip-ups. I still think the scale should be budging more. I have not been drinking my water like I should, that is the only change. I’ve studied my history and most of the time when I have high step or high calorie burn days (heavy work or planned exercise) I tend to not reach my water goal (too busy burning). I will have to work harder on that. Yesterdays stats: 1153 Calories In / 2653 Calories Out. 15 Net Carbs. 13,346 Total Steps & 5.65 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours & I slept 4 hours & 48 minutes. I walked 27 minutes at moderate pace as a planned exercise.
06/27 …..196.4 ….. Better but strange. I just thought there would be less resistance but that’s okay. I raised 4 kids & half of their friends so I have the patience of a saint. Very very physically busy work day yesterday so my numbers are fantastic for me. Yesterdays stats: 1393 Calories In / 3070 Calories Out. 15 Net Carbs. 19,354 Total Steps & 8.25 Total Miles. 12/13 Fitbit Step Hours (I have no idea how I missed one!) I slept 3 hours & 28 minutes but woke up feeling refreshed. I know I’ll be tired later. I anticipate another hard day today but we shall see. I did some steady & vigorous (at times) cabin cleaning for 152 minutes. I fit in a dance set with just 3 songs for 13 minutes. Sample song “Sharp Dressed Man” by ZZ Top[
