I’ve heard so many good things.. and to have the op come back and bump it? That’s gold
Isn't it though?! Sadly this was the highlight of my craptastic day.1 -
Cream puffs are good though...0

I would laugh and say would you like me to go out and buy some more for you? Then they can be the one to act all offended and it makes them look really silly ..0 -

Someone invited you to a birthday party to share a moment with you and they felt that you were close enough to be part of it. Perhaps more people showed up than expected. Maybe the host had something important come up and couldn't run to the store to get extra cream puffs and was trying to make the most of what they had. Maybe they are poor planners and figured that cream puffs wouldn't be that popular. Usually when I go to a party that someone has invited me to, it's to spend time with those people. It is an added bonus when they provide food and drinks.
This sounds like you throw *kitten* parties to me
I don't throw any parties because 1) I don't like people 2) they *kitten* complain about everything if it isn't right
People should only stick to stuff they are really really good at as to not be judged by others for falling short. I only go to parties hosted by party planners because I don't have time or patience for amateur hour
It's ok @GnothiSeauton23 we'll have our own party, with black jack! And Hookers!

That woulda been a good idea! I had a chance to offend someone and I didn't. Smh.3 -

Im offended that the host didn’t provide enough food for everybody to eat comfortably. But then again I’m basically a grandma and try to overfeed everyone who comes to my house.4

How was the OP to know that was the cream puffs? Most hosts have dishes set aside to refill the serving dishes.
I would have apologized. Look over the buffet table and left thanking the host for the invitation as it appeared that more folks showed up than was expected.

Issue with this tactic is they would probably say "Yes" instead of being offended. Now your out of a $50 gift Certificate and the price of the cream puffs.0 -
She should have had more. Sorry, but I love cream puffs too and would not have had just one.1

How many did you eat? Was there plenty for others?

Honestly I think you should probably just eat more and leave with your gift cards2
-
I'd be offended too honestly - that's rude for someone to point out- but if there weren't many, then maybe she was justified? If there were clearly plenty for all then lol I wouldn't talk to her anytime soon1

Did you post them in your Food Diary?2

Ah...good ol' memories3
-
i'd think the host was a cheap *kitten* and didn't buy enough cream puffs for everyone. you shouldn't be offended, they should be embarrassed.1

I guess it depends on how many I ate compared to the total amount they had.
What % did you eat?0
