Less Alcohol - June 2019 - One Day at a Time

Well so long June.
I was kinder to myself this June compared to last June. I was able to accomplish so many outdoor and indoor projects because I was not possessed with over drinking.
And at the same time I have enjoyed numerous social events this month where alcohol flowed freely for others.
I kept in control during bad news thrown at me. Where in the past I would have needed a drink or ten to try to think the stressful news away.
AF 28 out of 30 days.
See you on the July thread.6 -

I was planning on only drinking June 7, 14, and either 28 or 29 (depending on my work schedule) but I won a running race on June 22 so I had a bellini to celebrate. So I skipped June 28/29 and instead drank on June 22. So in the end, still only had alcohol 3 days. I ended the month with a stomach virus, 4 lbs heavier (after I replenished my fluids), and less mileage running than I did in April or May. A few wins, a few loses. Oh well. On to July.
