Well here goes. I am not as consistent as I would like, but still seeing progress. I just want to be consistent enough in spite of life happening and not expect perfection. It has taken a long time to figure this out.πThese I want to fit into.

07/22: 223.0 What?? I knew I ate some things I shouldn't have, but my word! I never thought the scales would be up this much since yesterday, which was 220.6 π’π€
07/23: 223.8 I'm really confused and getting frustrated. Walked a total of 5.27 miles yesterday and did pretty good on my consumed calories. Any suggestions would sure be appreciated.
07/24: 221.7 Walked about 4.5 miles yesterday. Was better about what I ate. I'm sure a lot of this is water loss, but I'll take it!

Round 84 Goals:
- My son turns 2 at the end of the week! The party is done, but we'll still be doing some celebrating this weekend, so I'll still be a little flexible on the end of the round goal. But I'd like to be focused and eat well on the week days.
- I saw 145.xx on the scale last round - I'd love to see it again! My pre-pregnancy weight was 145ish, so it's really exciting to be back to seeing these numbers.
- Keep up daytime water (3 tumblers), workouts (3x per week), and add in some walking (either during lunch or after work with the kiddo/dog).

07/22 - 148.4 Went to a mimosa brunch with family yesterday and indulged a bit too much! Feeling very bloated and dehydrated and SORE from a weight lifting class back on Friday, so hopefully some good choices today will get me back on the right path.
07/23 - 148.8 Ah that's never fun to see an increase after a day where everything went right! Yesterday I stuck to my food, water, and had a great kickboxing workout. But I'm trusting the process and keeping the course today, hoping that my body just needs another day to sort itself out from the weekend.
07/24 -147.6 That feels good to see a number moving down again! Once I left work, it was pouring raining, so we weren't able to get an evening walk in. Instead I brought my son to Trader Joe's, and we shopped for some groceries (since I didn't do a big run at the beginning of the week) and honestly wrangling a toddler around a store probably burns more calories than just walking anyway! We made tacos for dinner, which I supplemented with some roasted broccoli and cauliflower, and it was really good for a last minute thrown together meal! And I got supplies to make a nice healthy dinner tonight too! The weather is actually nice after all that rain, so we're planning to take advantage of that and go enjoy some time outside this evening.
07/25 - 147.0 Ah, very happy with this one! Yesterday, I went out with a coworker friend for lunch, which used to be my undoing. I would eat so much while catching up! So we picked a place where I could track my meal, and I only ate half of it because it was big, and I skipped snacks in the afternoon. After work, I took a walk around the neighborhood. It was only half an hour, but it got us out of the house and moving a little.
And then dinner was a nice and healthy but still delicious (and really quick and easy and basically all from Trader Joe's): pesto-marinated chicken breasts cooked on the grill with a bunch of grape tomatoes, some couscous, and my faaave griddled halloumi cheese! It's for foods like these that I really love love calorie counting...I was able to weigh the cheese out and a have a reasonable amount that fit within my goals as part of my dinner. I didn't pass it up in the store because I'm on a "diet," and I didn't allow myself to eat the whole thing because I love it and it just came back in season at TJs. I had just enough to satisfy and still see a drop the next day! Back to the gym tonight!

07/22 307.2 The heat won yesterday and I barely got in 3500 steps. Most of those were after sunset. Itβs much cooler today and will be for a few days so Iβm looking forward to getting outside this week.
07/23 307.0 I got in a lot more walks yesterday and it was nice to get outside again. I canβt believe how much I used to fear/hate the thought of walks around the neighborhood.
07/24 306.2 Thatβs a nice drop. My nsv today is more loose pants! I pulled my jeans out this morning because it was a little cooler. They stayed on, but I was swimming in them. I remember putting extra stitches in the butt awhile back to make sure they didnβt split. Today though I said I think I could fit my daughter and me in these pants theyβre so baggy.

It looks like I'm spiraling and I can't stop myself. I woke up feeling some type of way and have binged on so many sugary items before it was even 10. Tomorrow is another day. Will not lose focus.

07/23 165.8 - Not the best eating day. Didn't get a workout in. Not too good to reach my goal.
07/24 165.6 - I did do my 5k walk yesterday after work, but have to get a handle on my eating. Need to get back to Keto. But 2 ozs is a lost and I will take it.

07/22 131 Happy. Ribs yesterday. This is still a new low, even if it's up .5 from yesterday!
07/23 131.5 Ok....Still lower than last round except for the last day, but would prefer not to keep going up! 3 mile run this morning--felt pretty good, and sustained a decent pace! Then went to a really great yoga class!
07/24 131.5 Happy to see that the upward drift stopped. Tried out a new YMCA class--Body Jam. It was a dance class and although I wasn't spot on, I didn't totally embarrass myself and apparently I burned some calories. Then I went for a 4 mile very hilly walk.
07/25 131.5 Yay! This number is still sticking. Was careful yesterday, because Thursday is one of my challenge weigh in days and I wanted to stay low!

07/22 - 216.8 had a big up on the scale today from yesterday, but probably due to first day of period. Started Keto today because my weight loss has been so slow with regular CICO and my nutritionist said I may have insulin issues due to my PCOS, so giving it a shot. Energy levels high most of the challenges are mental but it's amazing how hard that is to overcome. Worked out with my PT today - super intense, very tired but happy
07/23 - 214.4 omg! Biggest loss I've ever had overnight. Thanks, Keto! I know it's just water weight and it really only put me .6 below my start weight for this after yesterday's high, but it gave me the morale I needed to keep going. Had a DXA bodyscan today - 46.5% body fat. What an eye opener... I had no idea it was that much. Used these two things to motivate me to stick to keto today. Crazy busy today so didnt exercise, but got lots of walking and stretching in today and will definitely go to the gym tomorrow.
07/24 - 214.2! That seems like a much more reasonable overnight change, so I'm happy. Hopefully some of this is fat and not all water. Thinking about all the visceral fat in my body scan has motivated me well to stick to my diet all day. Got an intense workout in on the elliptical and I'm feeling pretty good on Day 3 of keto!

Off to the dentist today for minor work. Have been whacking away at weeds that snuck up on me during my trips and almost ready to tackle some bigger projects. LNS last night but on Raincoast Crisps which are not low calorie (because of the nuts and dried fruit in them) but have lots of fibre. I think the real key for me is β almost no sitting. No biggy exercises, just busy all day tidying, picking raspberries, etc. Just what all my days were like when I was younger and had little kids.

07/21 β¦..195.4β¦.. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND
07/22 β¦..198.2 β¦.. After DGSβ birthday party weigh-in. However, itβs the late night binge that bit me in the butt. During the party I took a nice walk on a foot trail around the lake to offset the food. It would have been okay if not for the binge later. I havenβt done that in awhile & was surprised by the horrific lack of control. 2793 Calories In / 3003 Calories Out. 16,678 Total Steps & 7.06 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 6 minutes which was badly needed. I took the hike/walk around the lake during the party, I took an intended brisk walk at home around the property & I fit in 14 minutes of aerobics burning over 3000 calories for the day. More calories out than in, but still an almost 3 pound weight gain overnight. I hope some of this is water because the sodium was definitely high. I donβt want to spend this entire round getting this back down including the upcoming travel. Iβll be working on this hard today.
07/23 β¦..196.8 β¦.. Thrilled with scale. I drank lots of water yesterday & shed all night long which really helped to get rid of the excess bloat & sodium. I will make today another great day with diet. Calorie burn yesterday was phenomenal (worked hard to offset birthday party & upcoming travel.) I will be on point with diet but it is storming here so walking outside may not be possible. Also, no cabins to clean today. Just my own housework which is less vigorous. However, if storm clears up later I may be able to do more outside including gardening. Yesterdayβs stats: 1293 Calories in / 3289 Whopping Calories Out!. 31 Net Carbs which included Spaghetti Squash Lasagna. 23,543 Total Steps & 10.04 Total Miles. Both are probably my record. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 50 minutes & woke up tired but am doing okay now. Itβs only fair she picks since she does not get out as much as I do to other towns. More sodium uggg, but I know what to do afterward. Waterβ¦waterβ¦waterβ¦. Yesterday was a good day. I ended the evening with a walk after the rain. Yesterdayβs stats: 1121 Calories In / 2458 Calories Out. 28 Net Carbs. 12,207 Total Steps & 5.17 Total Miles. 10/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 3 hours & 16 minutes. I walked 43 minutes, did 44 minutes of general light/moderate house cleaning. I am going to try to be mindful today & not turn a travel day into an all-night free-for-all. Iβll be traveling with my keto friendly snacks. I didn't sleep well but I'm feeling pretty good. I feel powerful today. I'm promising myself NO DONUT SHOP! It's a "treat" our town doesn't have & one I CANNOT afford right now!
07/25 β¦..197.9 β¦.. After Travel weigh-in. I really donβt want to talk about it. It was lunch AND dinner out because of it being such a long day out of town afterall. Letβs just say that Iβve got some work to do. Traveling tomorrow and I will not be back until Sunday. I use a PC and I will not likely have access to a computer. I have an older phone but I canβt seem to get the app to work Iβll go by my daughters this evening for help. I would like to be able to log in while away on my phone. I hate to break my mfp streak. I have been invited away with a lady friend that I actually met as one of my customers. Since my husband died 3 years ago, it has been all work & very little social activities. It's funny how things change when you are no longer a "couple". You feel more like a 5th wheel. This lady is recently divorced and needs friends & social events as much as I do. It will likely be a food filled weekend with some menus I will not be able to control, but emotionally & socially it is the right thing to do for myself & for her too. I hope to have fun but to also remember what I'll need to do when I get back. Hopefully that will curb things a bit.

07/22 β¦..198.2 β¦.. After DGSβ birthday party weigh-in. However, itβs the late night binge that bit me in the butt. During the party I took a nice walk on a foot trail around the lake to offset the food. It would have been okay if not for the binge later. I havenβt done that in awhile & was surprised by the horrific lack of control. 2793 Calories In / 3003 Calories Out. 16,678 Total Steps & 7.06 Total Miles. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 5 hours & 6 minutes which was badly needed. I took the hike/walk around the lake during the party, I took an intended brisk walk at home around the property & I fit in 14 minutes of aerobics burning over 3000 calories for the day. More calories out than in, but still an almost 3 pound weight gain overnight. I hope some of this is water because the sodium was definitely high. I donβt want to spend this entire round getting this back down including the upcoming travel. Iβll be working on this hard today.
07/23 β¦..196.8 β¦.. Thrilled with scale. I drank lots of water yesterday & shed all night long which really helped to get rid of the excess bloat & sodium. I will make today another great day with diet. Calorie burn yesterday was phenomenal (worked hard to offset birthday party & upcoming travel.) I will be on point with diet but it is storming here so walking outside may not be possible. Also, no cabins to clean today. Just my own housework which is less vigorous. However, if storm clears up later I may be able to do more outside including gardening. Yesterdayβs stats: 1293 Calories in / 3289 Whopping Calories Out!. 31 Net Carbs which included Spaghetti Squash Lasagna. 23,543 Total Steps & 10.04 Total Miles. Both are probably my record. 13/13 Fitbit Step Hours. I slept 4 hours & 50 minutes & woke up tired but am doing okay now. Letβs just say that Iβve got some work to do. Traveling tomorrow and I will not be back until Sunday. I use a PC and I will not likely have access to a computer. I have an older phone but I canβt seem to get the app to work Iβll go by my daughters this evening for help. I would like to be able to log in while away on my phone. I hate to break my mfp streak. I hate to go away for the next 3 days but emotionally & socially it seems vital to me right now. It is odd & unexpected the way things change when your husband passes away and you are not longer a βcoupleβ. You feel more like a 5th wheel. Not at family events, but socially. This lady friend that I am going with was someone I met as a customer of mine this past spring. She is recently divorced and feels much of what Iβve been feeling the past 3 years. So this trip is important to both of us emotionally & socially. We plan on having great fun! It will be filled with lots of activities & food choices will not always be something I can 100% control, but I plan on doing my best, even though my best is just not good enough yet. The first thing I need to do to get back on track is no more late night eating. I usually cook dinner at 6 and haven't been. I need to get back to it. Ugh you guys I am struggling so I'm back. I missed the first two days of posting but I did weigh so I filled it out. Last time I tried to join this challenge (Round 80) I bailed right away. So I'm gonna say it's been 2 months since I've used this group effectively. On June 10th I quit smoking and in that time I have shot up out of my maintenance range due to binge eating. I was seriously binge eating you guys and I finally weighed myself after almost a month on Saturday and I was 137.6. And the binge eating didn't make the quitting easier either. I slipped with smoking a few times, so now I am 13 days nicotine free and on my 3rd day of eating at a deficit. My goal is simple for this challenge, post every day, that's it.

What happened was I went over to my parents house last night and I brought my darn scale so I could weigh in this morning and keep accountable with all of you. I am officially 5 rounds away from turning the big 4-0! That means I have 50 days to lose another 5 pounds and be below 140. When I started way back in July of 2018 I thought I would have already reached my goal, but alas I am still working on it, lol. My only goal this round is to see a new low and that my 10 day average continues to drop, however slow that may be and believe me the last couple of rounds it has been extremely slow.

The youngest starts her last year of elementary tomorrow since she is in year around. Can't believe I will finally be done with that school. From my oldest to the youngest I have been going there continuously for the last 16 years!
07/23 - 146.7 I overate last night and did some snacking after I got home from work. I was starving all day yesterday and couldn't curve it for some reason. It was just one of those days I guess. For the next 9 days I am going to try and do absolutely no snacking before dinner, while cooking, or clean up after dinner. I am just eating to eat at that point and there is no point to it. So day 1 let's see how I do.
07/24 - 144.4 yes! Finally now all I have to do is keep it down and drop a couple more ounces before the end of the month. I can see that 143.xxx right around the corner. On track for today and dinner set for tonight!
07/25 - 143.1 New low and a huge drop! I almost cried when I saw this, I was so happy. We will see if it sticks tomorrow, but right now I am super thrilled with it! I almost have a 3 pound loss for the month, and I haven't had one of those since October. This made a new happy scale milestone (2 more to go), completes 35 pounds lost, I am officially in the "normal BMI" category by a couple of ounces, and I am at the top of my maintenance weight. I would like for my maintenance weight to be 138-143 eventually. I will see if I like it there and figure out what I want to do at that point. I am sure it will take me a while to get lower. This has been a pretty big month of weight loss, so I am totally expecting a jump up or to stay here for a while and I am completely ok with that. 6 days left to hold on and see what I can do. I have a tendency to let myself relax when I get comfortable and I am determined not to do that this time. I really want to see myself at 138.

This week is crazy hot in the Netherlands, and I think most of Europe, so I started my morning with an easy walk before working from home. I have taken a couple of rounds with fb due to my daughter getting married and company visiting. In amongst all of that I started a new job. My weight is way up from where I was, so Iβm starting to get serious again.
July 22 - 184.5 - nothing to say about this I was hoping to never see the 180βs again.
July 23 - 183.2 - had a good day yesterday
July 24 - 184.6 - had some carbs yesterday, it sure makes a difference
July 24 - 184.4 - another fair day yesterday. I was within my goals.

I am back after taking a 8 round break from logging. Focused mostly on running, walking and was on vacation. Now I am back. Will take it easy but need to be accountable to get that holiday weight back down and break that 90 kg barrier I was bouncing around. Wish me luck

07/23 - 98.0 going in the right direction. Too early to be celebrating.
07/24 - 97.6 Still dropping lets hope this continues in the right direction.
07/25 - 97.5 back to original before leaving. Thought I would gain this vacation but it seems I remained more or less stable. Little win! Now buckle up, we are going DOWN!

07/22 208 lbs Spinning Class for 50 min, felt pretty good --- I'm a long way from where I used to be, though
07/23 207.5 lbs Zumba Class for 60 min - felt awesome, if graceless. LOL Did well with my meals. Good day.
07/24 206.9 lbs Nice weather, so an extra long walk with the dogs this morning. Really poor sleep, though.
07/25 209 lbs I've got to pick one scale and a time of day and be consistent... I've weighed on 4 different scales with wildly different results. This is what I got today. Not gonna freak out. Had a GREAT workout - it was my break in with my trainer and I'm excited to work with her.
