I have taken a couple of rounds with fb due to my daughter getting married and company visiting. In amongst all of that I started a new job. My weight is way up from where I was, so I’m starting to get serious again.

July 22 - 184.5 - nothing to say about this I was hoping to never see the 180’s again.
July 23 - 183.2 - had a good day yesterday
July 24 - 184.6 - had some carbs yesterday, it sure makes a difference
July 24 - 184.4 - another fair day yesterday. I was within my goals.
July 26 - 184.0 - surprising after the way I ate yesterday.
July 27 - 185.0 - that makes sense. I need to get my diet under control again.
July 28 - 185.8 - I am so disappointed in myself.
July 29 - 184.8 - not so bad I guess.

07/22 131 Happy. Ribs yesterday. This is still a new low, even if it's up .5 from yesterday!

07/23 131.5 Ok....Still lower than last round except for the last day, but would prefer not to keep going up!

3 mile run this morning--felt pretty good, and sustained a decent pace! Then went to a really great yoga class!

07/24 131.5 Happy to see that the upward drift stopped. Tried out a new YMCA class--Body Jam. It was a dance class and although I wasn't spot on, I didn't totally embarrass myself and apparently I burned some calories. Then I went for a 4 mile very hilly walk.
07/25 131.5 Yay! This number is still sticking. Was careful yesterday, because Thursday is one of my challenge weigh in days and I wanted to stay low!

07/26 132 No particular reason for this. I ate a little more yesterday, but all healthy and I exercised a ton, so it was all within the counts. Probably a normal bounce.
07/27 131 There we go. I exercised a ton yesterday, with a big deficit. Really looking forward to breaking into the 120's!

07/28 131.5 I went walking yesterday. Then we went to a movie and out for Ethiopian food. So both a higher carb and an "I don't really know how many calories...." day. But had 1000 calories left for dinner, so I was probably ok. Totally fine being up .5 today.

07/29 132 Found leftover chocolate cake in the freezer when I was cleaning it yesterday, so we all had a piece for dessert. Also no TMI (as @quiltingjaine would say!) Hoping the blip up goes away by the end. I'd be happy at 131.xxx as my start weight was a new low.

07/30 133.5 Had a cranky snacking day yesterday. Did a strength class and a zumba class, too, so it wasn't all bad. And didn't go over calories, just way over on carbs!

07/31 133 Pooh. Although I recognize this isn't as bad as it looks. I started this round at a new low and stayed under 132 for most of it before succumbing to snacking and carbs. It's heading back down and I've seen the July goal weight of 131! Onto the next.

After doing just 16:8 or 18:6 this weekend, I’m not surprised. I also believe I haven’t been drinking enough water. I had 100oz yesterday, but I still feel dehydrated. In for a 42h fast now, and will have my next meal tomorrow lunch.

07/23: 157.0lbs (-2.2lbs)
I assume is some water weight as I gained some yesterday, but overall still my lowest yet. I’m feeling really good about this! About to end my 42h fast at lunch today.

07/24: 157.0 (±0.0lbs)
I was hoping for a small drop, but hey, you can’t have a loss everyday.

Today is regular 18:6 schedule. Lunch and dinner. Then another 46/48 hour fast will begin before the weekend.

07/25: 159.6 (+2.6lbs)
Yesterday went down a little different than planned. I still stayed keto, but my dinner ended up 2 hours later than usual. If it was a weekend or a short fast ahead I would have skipped it. However, I’m now on a 46/48h fast (till dinner Friday), so didn’t want to start that with just a little guac. I was also bad at drinking water yesterday. With fasting today I hope to lose the water weight by tomorrow.

07/26: 157.4lbs (-2.2lbs)
Well . . . This was discouraging . . . I thought I’d lose more water weight (from the gain yesterday) after a full day of fast. I’ve also started with very slight jogs this week. On Monday I did 5min walk/ 30 sec jog for 48min, yesterday I did 4.5min walk, 30sec jog for 44min. Since scale isn’t everything I did a quick measurement over my hips (even though the measurements are not due for another 1.5 weeks) just to see if something has happened. And it has! 4cm (1.5in) down! Feel a little better, but still waiting for those pounds to drop so I can have my next reward.

I finished my 44h fast yesterday. . . Still no change. Not very encouraging, and today we’re having the pool party. I’ll have a couple of shots, then bring something like truly with very low carb in it to have something to drink, that is not just water. Right now I have nothing to go on. The NSV reported yesterday was incorrect. It was only 1cm (<0.5in). I have to believe I’m at stage 2 of this pic. At least overall this round so far, I’m at a lower weight than when I started. 0.4lbs. Not much, but at least some.

Not as bad as I thought. I did a lot of baking and cooking yesterday for the pool party to have low carb alternatives. I still had a few regular pinwheels, and some fruit. I also had some fruits at midnight. While it wasn’t time for such a meal/day as per my plan, life happens, and felt I needed to let go a little to not feel deprived of life so to speak. At least it’s not as bad as last week, but we’re coming up on the end, and so I hope I can counter this before that happens.

Decided to shift my schedule slightly, so instead of doing dinner to dinner for my 48h fasts, I’ll be doing lunch to lunch. I’m actually gonna try a 72h fast to see if my struggles with 48 is mental or not 🤣
I suspect this is my cheat day at the pool party that is still showing up. With an EF IP I’m hoping to get this back down by Wednesday.

I’m now at 38hours into my 68h fast. I feel great! My water weight finally released after the weekend’s pool party. Feels kinda dumb, and a little frustrating that I need almost 40h fast to get it released. At least it does, and I’m able to do it. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. I really hop that I at least stay the same as today, preferably lower. But at least I’m at a total SMALL loss this round if I stay at this tomorrow.

07/31 155.8lbs (-1.8lbs)
OMG! I finally broke through that stubborn 157lbs! I’m so phyched! I’m on hour 62 and feel just like any other day (which is so weird and awesome!). I’d expect to be starving. This shows if anything it’s all mental for me.

This ALSO means I got that next ghost!!! Finally! It’s been over 3 weeks being stuck at 157-160lbs. So now… once I break my fast I can also have my reward… I’m so happy!

07/29 - 228.6 - Went to another Zumba Class first big fluctuation in the 10 days... Interesting. I wonder if it's because I sweat a lot on Sunday. Maybe I didn't have enough water after the hot day.
07/30 - 227.4 - Strong by Zumba (I'm sensing a pattern) - Using my gym membership again feels good.
I steeped some flaxseed with my tea yesterday and let the fiber do its job. I guess we know where that fluctuation came from

7/22: 139.6 lbs - It is what it is. 2 weeks in the U.K., eating and drinking and not exercising much. I knew I would pay for it and I'm not going to dwell.

7/23: 139.0 lbs - off to a good start. Hoping it'll all come back off quickly.

7/24: 137.8 lbs - played pickleball yesterday for the first time in a couple weeks, a little sore today. Ate well, feeling good to be back in the swing of things and the scale loss is very nice to see. Starting my new daily goals today, hoping to see some quick returns. Otherwise, today is a rest day. I've got a pickleball tournament this weekend and don't want to overdo it after 2 weeks of nearly no exercise.

7/25: 137.8 lbs - still working through jet lag and pretty darn exhausted at the end of the day. Taught beginner pickleball class last night and played a couple games after, it was good to do a little running around. I met the water drinking goal and stretched but did not get the steps, push ups or crunches in. Baby steps.

7/26: 136.8 lbs - perhaps a false low because I barely ate yesterday. But it's nice to see. Managed to get all the water in, all the steps in and do the stretching and worked out for an hour or more. Didn't get the push ups or crunches in though. Today and tomorrow I'll be in a pickleball tournament (in 92 degree heat!), will definitely get my work out and steps done. Wish me luck!

7/27: 136.8 lbs - happy to see this for 2 days in a row, hoping it sticks. Day two of Pball tournament today, I got silver yesterday

. Drank plenty of water, stretched, got the steps in, and did a few crunches and push ups. Almost there.

7/28: 135.6 lbs - Pretty sure this is due to 10 hours in the sun and being dehydrated. Got first place in my division though

7/30: 137.0 lbs - I'm ok with this. This was my round goal weight anyway. Still recovering from many hours of tournament play over the weekend. This morning is the first morning I don't feel dehydrated. Going to take today and tomorrow off though, dealing with persistent tennis elbow.

I want so bad for this loss to restart itself. My active lifestyle should mean something at the end of the day. The lack of results is beginning to bug me. I am even watching my macros so this is mind boggling. This constant watching what I eat is starting to get in my nerves and the small snack moments ending in a gigantic gain is starting to annoy me. Bahhhhh I want to quit (I won't) but I feel like I am working so hard with nothing to show.

07/23 ???lbs no scale while I’m out of town. But I choose a healthy salad for eat out dinner and walked 3 miles exploring yesterday. Did strength training and crunches before heading out. Drank 100 oz of water.
07/24 ???lbs- still no scale, but I feel like I lost weight. Be interesting to see when I weigh Friday morning. Yesterday I went on a gorgeous 5.5 hike. Dinner out again last night. I’m a sucker for Mexican food I went slightly over my calories. Going to watch my calorie And carbs today, as I won’t be as active this day of the trip
07/25 ??? lbs- just got back in but want to wait until morning to weigh. Yesterday was a rough day no breakfast, big lunch then late night pizza dinner. Plus I didn’t drink as much water as I would have liked. What can I say I was enjoying my mini vacation. Friday through Sunday will be camping hopefully I can burn some calories on the kayak or swimming.

07/29 157 i was pretty active on the camping trip and mostly stayed in my calorie goal. Had some sweets and wine though. What’s really weird is yesterday when I got home I Weighed and my scale said 151. I thought there was no way that was right. Weighed myself several times that evening and same thing. 07/31 158, not surprised I didn’t go down. Back to school shopping with the kids which meant going out to lunch I had also skipped breakfast which I never do so I needed something more than a light meal. Starting a new cardio routine today though. Super excited

07/22 307.2 The heat won yesterday and I barely got in 3500 steps. Most of those were after sunset. It’s much cooler today and will be for a few days so I’m looking forward to getting outside this week.

07/23 307.0 I got in a lot more walks yesterday and it was nice to get outside again. I can’t believe how much I used to fear/hate the thought of walks around the neighborhood.

07/24 306.2 That’s a nice drop. My nsv today is more loose pants! I pulled my jeans out this morning because it was a little cooler. They stayed on, but I was swimming in them. I remember putting extra stitches in the butt awhile back to make sure they didn’t split. Today though I said I think I could fit my daughter and me in these pants they’re so baggy.

07/26 308.2 My lack of proper sleep, pain, and just general blah won out last night. It happens to me every so often and oddly helps to re-motivate me. I’ll have this gain gone in no time as it’s all water.

07/27 307.6 Starting to go back down. I was on track with my calories, but I don’t think I drank enough water. I should see losses over the next several days and be to a new low soon. I finally got some new clothes that aren’t even a little bit loose or baggy. My husband is certain that if I give it a couple of months I’ll need new ones again. I don’t remember the last time I was in these sizes, but it’s been awhile.

07/28 306.0 Almost back down.

07/29 305.4 Yay, back down plus a little. I shouldn’t be surprised I’ve been on track with everything.

07/30 303.6 I’m a bit worried that this might be a false low because I was a little under the weather yesterday. I stayed on track with everything, but I won’t be surprised if I have a slight bounce back up. I’m also happy that my little binge the other day didn’t take me off track.

07/30: 214.7 Up only 8.2lbs after my 18 day vacation. I enjoyed lots of tiramisu, gelato, wine, pasta, and French breads and I don't regret a thing. It will be interesting to see how much of it is water weight and how quickly it will drop. I know a lot of it is also bloating from eating items that I am sensistive to, but I'm ok with that. I did so much walking and really enjoyed myself. Even though my flight came in at 11:30 last night I already worked out with my trainer this morning. My goal is to just get back into the routine of things. I have a bunch of errands to do today. I'm not going back to work until Thursday, so hopefully by then I will have gotten over most of the jet lag.
07/31 214.7 The jet lag is real. Woke up at 1 this morning and did not get back to sleep until 6. I am so tired and sore from my workout yesterday. Today I'm going out for a walk and then going for a massage and then just relaxing for the rest of the day. I think I will take a nap early this morning so as not to mess up my sleep cycle for tonight. Working on making sure that I get my water in.

7/22 121.0 Last night Shrimp Scampi with Zoodles for dinner and 1/2c Halo Top mint chip for dessert - it was quite good. I even had a glass of dry white wine! Raining today
7/23 121.5 We were slugs yesterday. Made Keto donuts in the morning and had broccoli sautéed in garlic butter and hot dogs for supper followed by salad.
7/24 121.5 Went to Sam’s Club again yesterday. They had some denim shorts I found acceptable. I’ve been wearing size 6 which is now too big so bought 4 and 6’s since they are a different brand. The 4’s are perfect! I am over the moon!! Never have I bought a size 4 IN MY LIFE! Best NSV ever!

7/27 120.5 Ate well saving carbs for the anticipated popcorn. Shared a small bag with DD. It was supposed to have “extra butter” but barely had a splotch on the top. I was 1 carb over my total macro. There may be some delayed reaction to this plus we are meeting DGD for lunch today.
7/28 122.0 Probably the popcorn from Friday evening movie. Woke up before 3:30AM for no apparent reason. Tried to go back to sleep but gave up at 4:30. Gonna be a long day. Sigh
7/29 120.5. Bye bye popcorn. Made yummy Keto lasagna yesterday, recipe said 4 servings, we cut it into 6 but think 8 would be better.

07/22: 223.0 What?? I knew I ate some things I shouldn't have, but my word! I never thought the scales would be up this much since yesterday, which was 220.6 😢🤔

07/23: 223.8 I'm really confused and getting frustrated. Walked a total of 5.27 miles yesterday and did pretty good on my consumed calories. Any suggestions would sure be appreciated.

07/24: 221.7 Walked about 4.5 miles yesterday. Was better about what I ate. I'm sure a lot of this is water loss, but I'll take it!

07/25: 222.4 Didn't do as well with my eating yesterday as I had planned.
