07/22 168.1 I'm a little bummed I didn't make my goal for Round 83. I really felt like I was retaining water the entire Round from my trip to Colorado and maybe still now. Two excellent parts of this weekend. Saturday morning I spent with my great-niece. We played in the shade at the park for almost an hour before it got too hot. Sunday it cooled down (heat index in the 110 area Saturday afternoon) after a storm and I walked 3 miles in the morning then met a girlfriend and walked 3.5 yesterday evening. It was beautiful, about 80 degrees and breezy.
I was glad she was with me because there was a crazy homeless guy on the trail. He just muttered to himself when he passed us so we didn't think too much about it other than it's very sad. When we turned around to go back he had stopped along the trail and unpacked his stuff all over the path. Which was very weird but not dangerous. Unfortunately, he had also started a fire in the woods burning a bunch of cables and other things that was giving off a chemical smell. Once we got well passed we called the fire department, about 5 minutes later we saw the truck and stopped them to explain where it was since there wasn't an address. He said don't worry, we saw the smoke already. It's so sad but at the same time, you don't know what people are going to do or what brought them to this terrible place.
07/23 169.1 After my 6.5 miles the day before I wasn't going to walk last night but it was soooooo nice that I had to walk a little. Just two miles in the neighborhood with my dog. The weight is TOM. Time will fix this problem. Meanwhile, it's CI/CO. Focus on health and not weight, blah blah blah. I found this link in another thread about water retention that I thought might help some. It helped me. I thought I had beat the water retention game but the last few weeks I haven't been able to lose the water. I think it's because of stress. I am VERY stressed right now with my home life. It did give me some mental relief that I wasn't going crazy.
07/24 169.9 This should drop in a few days. I walked three + miles last night. The weather is unseasonably pleasant. Usually, the end of July first of August is the hottest part of the year but we've got a week in the 80s with mild humidity. This is a small miracle for Missouri. It should be gym night but I'm struggling because it's beautiful outside.
07/25 167.7 Whooosh two stinky pounds! Happy days! I did go to the gym last night because it was 92 when I got off. I brought the clothes to go walking tonight. I didn't travel this week, and right now it doesn't look like I'm going anywhere next week. That should help with water retention. When it wasn't too hot and I could break up the drive with a walk in the middle it helped a little (I think).
07/26 167.7 All good. Walked my 3 miles last night on a trail I haven't been on in a few months. It's lovely for about a mile and boring for the rest. Within calorie goals even with a strawberry ice cream crunch I did have Chinese for lunch yesterday so I expected some water retention but it didn't happen. OR this weight does include water ??? Probably not but you can't blame a girl for trying

07/27 168.1 Walked one short mile in the woods but I got my friend to go with me. The rest of the day was a blur, shopping lunch, housework, grocery store, birthday party.
7/28 168.9 Too many birthday party snacks last night. It's hard to walk away from freshly made guacamole. Walked 3.5 miles with my Dusty dog in the woods. I wish it wouldn't have been so hot, I could have walked a lot more. The rest of the day doing housework and visiting with the kids and the baby.
7/29 No Scale I know I was over yesterday too. This birthday weekend thing is harder than anticipated. I went over both days. I guess I'll find out tomorrow what it means for the end of the round. One more dinner tonight and then I'm done with birthdays for another year.
AMEND: My coworkers had a surprise food day for my birthday. So two more meals but they made healthy snacks. I love the fact that they are honoring my lifestyle change (and not my diet).

July 22 - First day doing 1200 calories. Didn't do to bad. A little hungry throughout the day but filled up on water. Went over my goal by 6.
July 23 - Second day at 1200 calories. Way more hungry today. Went over my goal by 640! Weighed in this morning. Disappointed with the number.
July 24 - Day 3 at 1200cal. Did better today. Still not on goal but healthy choices today and only over by a little bit. Scale was down a little this morning. It's a Step in right direction
July 25 - Day 4. Still didn't make 1200, but still only over by a little. I think I need to find a way to eat more filling foods. I don't like protein (only eat chicken) or yogurt and things like that so it's hard to get foods that keep me full longer. But the scale is going down so I'll keep pressing on
July 26 - Day 5. Well last night I ate 700 calories over in Fritos and half a Costco chocolate chip cookie 😭😭 then I felt bad so I went for an hour's walk. Enjoyed the walk though. I know my gain this morning is probably salt from those Fritos so I am trying not to focus on it too much. Here's to another day 🥂
July 27 - Day 6. Yesterday I felt in control. I chose healthy options. I drank seven 24oz bottles of water. I took my kids to the park. I stayed within my points range. It was a great day. And it is working. The scale is moving. Now to keep it going in the downward position for the weekend ❣️
July 28 - Day 7. Woke yesterday in a fantastic, in control mood. Went for a nice long walk while everyone slept. It was a beautiful morning. Came home and had my breakfast and sat down 😔 never should of sat. It completely ruined my day. I got lazy, which in turn made me snacky. I got into the Hawkins Cheezies...😔 Oh well. Fresh day today. I will do better today. I am learning being emotional and now bored and lazy are my triggers. Need to come up with a plan!
July 29 - Day 8. Had a great day yesterday. Went to church with my family, went to the park with my girls and went for a walk with my friend. I hate within range (somewhat only over by 50) and even got to have pasta and a garlic bun!! Finished the night off with a herbal tea. I also completed a personal challenge thru Fitbit and banked 15,000 steps completing the Vernal Falls adventure. It was great. Woke this morning to a great loss!! Love seeing the scale move in the right direction. Here's to another great day today 💃10 -

07/24... 147.2 - water weight is slowly leaving. Let my body rest, absolutely worn out. Lunch out at my fav mexican place - managed to keep cals at reasonable level for the day.
07/25... 147.2 - rode 1 colt before work. Yoga Burn Week 3 - pushups, planks, and all the other fun stuff. Solid workout at lunch. Starving all day - freakin TOM. Indulged in 2 med pieces of pizza + 2 beers and cleaned 8 stalls and the barn. Managed to stay at 500 cal def for the day. I really want to fast forward about 4 days.

07/22 307.2 The heat won yesterday and I barely got in 3500 steps. Most of those were after sunset. It’s much cooler today and will be for a few days so I’m looking forward to getting outside this week.
07/23 307.0 I got in a lot more walks yesterday and it was nice to get outside again. I can’t believe how much I used to fear/hate the thought of walks around the neighborhood.
07/24 306.2 That’s a nice drop. My nsv today is more loose pants! I pulled my jeans out this morning because it was a little cooler. They stayed on, but I was swimming in them. I remember putting extra stitches in the butt awhile back to make sure they didn’t split. Today though I said I think I could fit my daughter and me in these pants they’re so baggy.

07/26 308.2 My lack of proper sleep, pain, and just general blah won out last night. It happens to me every so often and oddly helps to re-motivate me. I’ll have this gain gone in no time as it’s all water.
07/27 307.6 Starting to go back down. I was on track with my calories, but I don’t think I drank enough water. I should see losses over the next several days and be to a new low soon. I finally got some new clothes that aren’t even a little bit loose or baggy. My husband is certain that if I give it a couple of months I’ll need new ones again. I don’t remember the last time I was in these sizes, but it’s been awhile.

07/22 157 this is about two pounds heavier than I normally am. Not sure what is with the fluctuation as I have consciously been eating healthier. Today I feel good. I am heading out of town for 3 days and I need something to keep me accountable . This is my first 10 day challenge
07/23 ???lbs no scale while I’m out of town. But I choose a healthy salad for eat out dinner and walked 3 miles exploring yesterday. Did strength training and crunches before heading out. Drank 100 oz of water.
07/24 ???lbs- still no scale, but I feel like I lost weight. Be interesting to see when I weigh Friday morning. Yesterday I went on a gorgeous 5.5 hike. Dinner out again last night. I’m a sucker for Mexican food I went slightly over my calories. Going to watch my calorie And carbs today, as I won’t be as active this day of the trip
07/25 ??? lbs- just got back in but want to wait until morning to weigh. Yesterday was a rough day no breakfast, big lunch then late night pizza dinner. Plus I didn’t drink as much water as I would have liked. What can I say I was enjoying my mini vacation. Friday through Sunday will be camping hopefully I can burn some calories on the kayak or swimming.

07/29 157 i was pretty active on the camping trip and mostly stayed in my calorie goal. Had some sweets and wine though. What’s really weird is yesterday when I got home I Weighed and my scale said 151. I thought there was no way that was right. Weighed myself several times that evening and same thing. But this morning back in the upper 150’s.

22: 239 Feedback: Hydration affects weight. I totally didn't drink enough water yesterday! Not sure what was up. I'm usually really good about having enough, but I only drank about half of my usual intake.
23: 239.2 I'm completely at peace with this. We took my younger daughter and her best friend to Sea Life and the Minnesota Zoo yesterday. That meant mall food plus 7 hours of driving. I enjoyed Auntie Anne's pretzels for lunch(way more carbs than I'd usually eat in one sitting), and had a Caesar salad with shrimp for dinner. I even managed to stay pretty close to my IF schedule. I finished eating about an hour later than usual. I feel like I did a pretty good job enjoying the day-trip without going completely overboard.

25: 237.2 !!?!!? I'm shocked by this. I stayed within my calories and IF schedule, but I ate more movie theatre popcorn than I usually would and had a fast food burrito for dinner. I did skip the seasoned potatoes that I love (because they're deep fried and more carbs), but my carbs were still really high (about 50% higher than my goal). My kids left for 2 weeks with their dad today, so yesterday afternoon/evening we had a special family outing. I'm glad the scale doesn't reflect what I was sure would be a gain.

27: 234.7 TOM is due tomorrow. I only had a 30 calorie deficit yesterday. Last night, I had to take extra precautions to avoid snacking during my fasting time. I managed, but it definitely took some will power! I guess it paid off! 🤸💃🤸💃
28: 235.5 I totally rocked my IF schedule, calories, macros, water, and sleep. That narrows the cause to pre-TOM weight gain. ♀️

I am officially 5 rounds away from turning the big 4-0! That means I have 50 days to lose another 5 pounds and be below 140. When I started way back in July of 2018 I thought I would have already reached my goal, but alas I am still working on it, lol. My only goal this round is to see a new low and that my 10 day average continues to drop, however slow that may be and believe me the last couple of rounds it has been extremely slow.

07/22 - 147.3 up from yesterday, but had a good day. Did eat at the mall and then do some snacking while meal prepping for the week. So I am sure I will be back down soon. Finished my daughters room and all the school shopping for both girls. Dinner planned tonight and breakfast/lunches planned for the week. On track for today and should be an early night to bed. The youngest starts her last year of elementary tomorrow since she is in year around. Can't believe I will finally be done with that school. From my oldest to the youngest I have been going there continuously for the last 16 years!
07/23 - 146.7 I overate last night and did some snacking after I got home from work. I was starving all day yesterday and couldn't curve it for some reason. It was just one of those days I guess. For the next 9 days I am going to try and do absolutely no snacking before dinner, while cooking, or clean up after dinner. I am just eating to eat at that point and there is no point to it. So day 1 let's see how I do.
07/24 - 144.4 yes! Finally now all I have to do is keep it down and drop a couple more ounces before the end of the month. I can see that 143.xxx right around the corner. On track for today and dinner set for tonight!
07/25 - 143.1 New low and a huge drop! I almost cried when I saw this, I was so happy. We will see if it sticks tomorrow, but right now I am super thrilled with it! I almost have a 3 pound loss for the month, and I haven't had one of those since October. This made a new happy scale milestone (2 more to go), completes 35 pounds lost, I am officially in the "normal BMI" category by a couple of ounces, and I am at the top of my maintenance weight. I would like for my maintenance weight to be 138-143 eventually. I will see if I like it there and figure out what I want to do at that point. I am sure it will take me a while to get lower. This has been a pretty big month of weight loss, so I am totally expecting a jump up or to stay here for a while and I am completely ok with that. 6 days left to hold on and see what I can do. I have a tendency to let myself relax when I get comfortable and I am determined not to do that this time. I really want to see myself at 138.
07/26 - 143.1 I am shocked that this stayed the same. Maybe it is a real number. I snacked a little before dinner and then while cleaning up, so I was kind of worried this morning. Low cal day today and should be able to stay on track without any issues tonight. Would love to go into the weekend this low and be able to maintain the next 5 days. If I can finish the month at 143 or maybe even 142 something I will be thrilled.
07/27 - 141.7 I can’t believe I dropped even more. This month has been amazing! I am at almost 5 pounds lost and I never have months like that. I lose maybe a pound a month the last 4 or 5 months. I am so happy that it’s finally catching up and the scale is showing my hard work. It may go up over the weekend, but in super thrilled going in so low!
07/28 - 144.0 I hate that I eat a couple of carbs and boom 2 - 3 pounds overnight. Nice Japanese grill date night with hubby complete with korin beer and some saki. Water and better food options are in store for the rest of the day. Would like to end this month around 142 or back to 141!
07/29 - 144.4 The rest of Saturday night I am sure. Had shopping, laundry, and chores around the house all day yesterday, so my water was not as good as I would have liked. Today is planned and logged. Should have a nice drop tomorrow and hopefully will finish up this month and this round with a pretty good loss!

07/23 131.5 Ok....Still lower than last round except for the last day, but would prefer not to keep going up! 3 mile run this morning--felt pretty good, and sustained a decent pace! Then went to a really great yoga class!
07/24 131.5 Happy to see that the upward drift stopped. Tried out a new YMCA class--Body Jam. It was a dance class and although I wasn't spot on, I didn't totally embarrass myself and apparently I burned some calories. Then I went for a 4 mile very hilly walk.

07/22 203.7 – I haven't been on as much on here. Every time I try to log on it was booting me out and I couldn't get to this page. So bummed that my weight went back up again. I keep yoyoing around the same weight for the past few months
07/23 204.8- Not surprised. I kind of gave in and just had a sandwich for lunch and I wanted to have something healthy for dinner, but the line at the market was taking forever, so I ended up having Wingstop Aaaand a late night boba drink (minus the boba) I did go to the store last night and grab a salad for work today. I'll also be spending the night at my boyfriends these next couple days because it's our 4 year anniversary which also means prob lots of celebration food and no scale for a couple days. Oh Lord give me strength!

Also had a slice of pizza at the birthday and a coke But I've had enough of my crap of falling off the wagon, so I have a poke salad I'm having for lunch (got the poke from Gelson's) and planning to meal prep this week and push myself to start going to the gym again. I fell off way too hard this round and I keep getting further from my goal. Really really need to stop giving in and letting others throw me off track. Going to try to reach my goals these next couple rounds. Also updating my challenge GW because losing 5lbs in two days sounds terrible

- I saw 145.xx on the scale last round - I'd love to see it again! My pre-pregnancy weight was 145ish, so it's really exciting to be back to seeing these numbers.
- Keep up daytime water (3 tumblers), workouts (3x per week), and add in some walking (either during lunch or after work with the kiddo/dog).

07/22 - 148.4 Went to a mimosa brunch with family yesterday and indulged a bit too much! Feeling very bloated and dehydrated and SORE from a weight lifting class back on Friday, so hopefully some good choices today will get me back on the right path.
07/23 - 148.8 Ah that's never fun to see an increase after a day where everything went right! Yesterday I stuck to my food, water, and had a great kickboxing workout. But I'm trusting the process and keeping the course today, hoping that my body just needs another day to sort itself out from the weekend.
07/24 -147.6 That feels good to see a number moving down again! Once I left work, it was pouring raining, so we weren't able to get an evening walk in. Instead I brought my son to Trader Joe's, and we shopped for some groceries (since I didn't do a big run at the beginning of the week) and honestly wrangling a toddler around a store probably burns more calories than just walking anyway! We made tacos for dinner, which I supplemented with some roasted broccoli and cauliflower, and it was really good for a last minute thrown together meal! And I got supplies to make a nice healthy dinner tonight too! The weather is actually nice after all that rain, so we're planning to take advantage of that and go enjoy some time outside this evening.
07/25 - 147.0 Ah, very happy with this one! Yesterday, I went out with a coworker friend for lunch, which used to be my undoing. I would eat so much while catching up! So we picked a place where I could track my meal, and I only ate half of it because it was big, and I skipped snacks in the afternoon. After work, I took a walk around the neighborhood. It was only half an hour, but it got us out of the house and moving a little.
And then dinner was a nice and healthy but still delicious (and really quick and easy and basically all from Trader Joe's): pesto-marinated chicken breasts cooked on the grill with a bunch of grape tomatoes, some couscous, and my faaave griddled halloumi cheese! It's for foods like these that I really love love calorie counting...I was able to weigh the cheese out and a have a reasonable amount that fit within my goals as part of my dinner. I didn't pass it up in the store because I'm on a "diet," and I didn't allow myself to eat the whole thing because I love it and it just came back in season at TJs. I had just enough to satisfy and still see a drop the next day! Back to the gym tonight!
07/26 - 145.8 Today was my son’s birthday! I gave birth two years ago (and checked into the hospital weighing 205 pounds), and I can proudly say I’m back to my pre-pregnancy weight! We had a very fun day including a homemade cake and a dinner out, so the scale might reflect that in the morning, but it’s nothing I can’t deal with!

Let’s just say that I’ve got some work to do. Traveling tomorrow and I will not be back until Sunday. I use a PC and I will not likely have access to a computer. I have an older phone but I can’t seem to get the app to work I’ll go by my daughters this evening for help. I would like to be able to log in while away on my phone. I hate to break my mfp streak. I hate to go away for the next 3 days but emotionally & socially it seems vital to me right now. It is odd & unexpected the way things change when your husband passes away and you are not longer a “couple”. You feel more like a 5th wheel. Not at family events, but socially. This lady friend that I am going with was someone I met as a customer of mine this past spring. She is recently divorced and feels much of what I’ve been feeling the past 3 years. So this trip is important to both of us emotionally & socially. We plan on having great fun! It will be filled with lots of activities & food choices will not always be something I can 100% control, but I plan on doing my best, even though my best is just not good enough yet. 07/22 - 216.8 had a big up on the scale today from yesterday, but probably due to first day of period. Started Keto today because my weight loss has been so slow with regular CICO and my nutritionist said I may have insulin issues due to my PCOS, so giving it a shot. Energy levels high most of the challenges are mental but it's amazing how hard that is to overcome. Worked out with my PT today - super intense, very tired but happy
07/23 - 214.4 omg! Biggest loss I've ever had overnight. Thanks, Keto! I know it's just water weight and it really only put me .6 below my start weight for this after yesterday's high, but it gave me the morale I needed to keep going. Had a DXA bodyscan today - 46.5% body fat. What an eye opener... I had no idea it was that much. Used these two things to motivate me to stick to keto today. Crazy busy today so didnt exercise, but got lots of walking and stretching in today and will definitely go to the gym tomorrow.
07/24 - 214.2! That seems like a much more reasonable overnight change, so I'm happy. Hopefully some of this is fat and not all water. Thinking about all the visceral fat in my body scan has motivated me well to stick to my diet all day. Got an intense workout in on the elliptical and I'm feeling pretty good on Day 3 of keto!
07/25 - 212.6! Another big loss overnight! It feels like a miracle! Very happy on Day 4 of Keto but did buy an electrolyte today to help w a 2-day headache. Had a very stressful and agitating day but stuck to my calorie goals. Did not exercise... Spent the entire day waiting for a Frontier technician that never showed up and by the time the service window cloaed at 6pm, had to scramble to get chores done. Will get more exercise tomorrow and hope for a continued weight loss tonight despite no exercise
07/26 - 211! Omg, so happy! I ended up working out last night after posting that I felt bad not exercising. Then today, I definitely didn't eat enough during the day but then my partner came back from a long work trip and we did a celebratory meal and... I definitely ate a lot! It was my first time struggling to stick to keto because everything at the steakhouse was glazed but I got them to make me a special unglazed meal. Felt crazy full though so worried I overate. Got a tough workout in during the morning so hopefully that plus eating light during the day didnt reverse my losses
07/27 - 210.8! Glad to still see some loss despite my super heavy dinner. We had company visit today so I wasnt able to take time away to exercise, but we walked around a lot touring our new area. I stuck to my diet despite how hard it was to find keto options at the restaurants we went to, so I'm proud of myself for that
07/28 - 210.6! Very reasonable overnight loss. Woke up today with a cold (a real cold, not keto cold - coughing, sneezing, sore throat, congestion) Didn't do any exercise but did stick closely tp diet which was an accomplishment in itself bc usually when I'm sick I like tea w honey and simple carbs to eat.. so that is a big win! The lose is that our first free day in our new house and rather than do needed chores, I just lay about all day 😔
07/29 - 209.6! Haven't seen this side of 210 in a long time! So exciting to see a change in the tens position of my weight. Fingers crossed I can stay under 210 and this isn't just a spurious loss on the scale. Still sick with a cold though so missed work and my personal training today. Sticking to diet, hoping to be healthy so I can be exercising and productive again!

07/27 - 134.1 (+0.6lbs) - Food was horrrible! First day I’ve eaten horrible in a long time! I was just so hungry. I guess my body wanted to make up the 650 calories I didn’t eat yesterday. Problem is I had ice cream and corn nuts 🤦🏻♀️ Its ok though, today is a new day and I’ll do better. Besides I felt so sick from the unhealthy food I don’t think I’ll even want to touch it for awhile. I blame TOM for all of this! LOL I can not be held accountable. Day off strength. 1.5hrs cardio. 14,763 steps. 142oz water.

Hi all, this is my second round and excited to see where this next round takes me. I first started my MFP journey in 2015. I dropped down to 138 pounds and went into maintenance. I was fine for awhile until my world went crazy and exercise was no longer a priority. After putting on over 20 pounds, I got back to working out and calorie counting diligently. I have IBS and no gallbladder, so I stick to a low fat diet. I am also hypothyroid which makes losing weight at times challenging. I keep on trucking because the pot of gold at the end of 🌈 is health and an increased life expectancy.

07/22 127lbs. Had a good workout 🏋️♀️. Yesterdays forced rest did my body good and I was able to easily knock out two hours of strength and aerobics. Ending my day with a yoga 🧘♀️ session for recovery. Feeling good, even with the scale not moving in a few days.
07/23 128.3lbs. Weight is up, trying not to panic and cut my daily calories. IBS flare up cut my workout short today and sent me home to bed with my heating pad. Crossing my fingers I will be all good tomorrow.
07/24 129lbs (sigh). Went on a ten mile walk with my son. Afterwards, every inch of my body hurt, while my son was still bouncing around full of energy. Lol, I thought he would collapse when we got home, but nope it was mid-30s old me. I did a good stretch drank down my protein shake and took a nap 😴. Hoping to see the scale go down tomorrow 🤞.
07/25 129.9lbs🤦🏽♀️. Up again, but inches are still coming off; just not reflected on the scale. I just increased my protein using shakes, so maybe that’s causing the scale to go up. Had a good walk with my son. It’s a good way to get him away from the tv during the summer. Today, he even asked when are we going on our walk (proud mama). Got in some strength training and recovering with yoga.
07/26 127.9lbs. Finally, the scale is down. It was 🥵 hot today and I didn’t eat much and skipped my walk. I did step aerobics, which kills my glute muscles and some weight training 💪. Tomorrow will brave the heat and walk my 100 blocks.
07/27 127lbs. Busy day; lots of walking logged doing errands. Got some strength training in using my kettlebell and my body is sore. NSV: just realized all my clothes are baggy on me! Shopping trip is in my future. I learned sometimes you have to ignore the scale and go by the measuring tape and pics.
07/28 126.5lbs. The scale is going down but so are my calories. It’s 🥵 outside and the heat is killing my appetite. I got up early and got in my strength training and step aerobics. I than walked four miles to my doctors appt and back. Ending the day with a hot bath for my muscles 💪. My goal for the next week is to make sure my protein intake is up.
07/29 126lbs. Another day of the scale going down 😃. Today was my rest day, so it was sixty minutes of step aerobics and stretching my sore muscles. I tried to up my protein with whey protein and it made me anxious and jittery! I may have force myself to eat more food. Goal for tomorrow 80g of protein.

7/25: (140.6) I just started back with MFP today. In the past I've never really made an effort to be involved in the community, and I always just stopped tracking. I feel ready to take this seriously now, mostly because I want to improve my athletic performance, and at this point in my life that has to include diet. I exercised less than usual today because it was a rest day. I didn't eat that well, but I didn't eat that poorly, either. I was really planning on starting tomorrow.
7/26: (139.8) Did bootcamp first thing this morning and walked the dog twice. Until about 3:00, I ate really well, but that's usually the case. I had a healthy breakfast and lunch then snacked in the afternoon instead of eating the salmon I thawed for dinner. I plan to be a little more organized tomorrow.
7/27: (140.4) Felt thinner, but weight was up. I ran 5 miles this morning then walked the dog twice again. I'm feeling pretty hormonal. Oddly, according to my Apple Watch, I've burned way, way more calories (11,500 so far) this month than any other month in the 17 months I've had it, and I am 100% certain I haven't eaten more, yet my weight is up four pounds.
7/28: (140.4) Sigh. I didn't exercise at all today. The dog is barking as a result. I also ate too many carbs and not enough veggies because I didn't feel like going to the store. But I'm finished eating for the day. Even though this is really not going the way I would like, I realize that consistency is the key--tracking and exercising. And I also think there's a slight possibility my weight is up because I increased exercise so much. That seems to happen to me at first when I really ramp it up. I'm not giving up yet, but it doesn't look like I'm going to hit that short-term goal.
7/29: (139.8) I’m back down again. Right now I don’t see any rhyme or reason to when the scale is up and when it’s down, but I’m determined to stay consistent. I ate more today than I’ve been eating. Since this is only my first week at this, I’m not going to be too hard on myself, but I do think I could make some positive changes in my diet. Tomorrow morning I’m going on a nine mile run/walk, and that always makes my weight go up.

07/22 133.8 – just short of 9 ¾ miles walked yesterday, walks sandwiched a christening midday followed by celebratory meal at an Indian restaurant (very tasty!, but high sodium/fat). I did drink absolutely loads throughout the day to try to compensate.
07/23 133.4 – 8 ¾ miles walked yesterday, I really need to reduce my carb intake, trouble is I love fruit!! Still I'm going to make an effort to reduce processed carbs to start with.
07/24 133.4 – 9 ½ miles walked yesterday – 179g carbs which is a reduction for me, they had crept up to over 200 every day!

07/30 133.6 - well you never know how a day will develop!! Yesterday am. my early morning shower was interrupted by a phone call from my Dad's home, he had fallen and they were awaiting paramedics as his leg was very painful; he's broke his hip 😓. So I spent the day at hospital with him, he has advanced dementia and I'm sure some of you will know the extra challenges that brings. So reduced steps and grabbing food at the retail outlets on hospital grounds was the order of the day. His surgery is planned for this pm. and I am back at the hospital with him, but at least I have my prepared on plan food with me !!

07/22 65.0 kg. I've lost 23kg {50.7 lbs} in 199 days! IF isn't making me delighted but I am getting loose skin so I'm trying to get rid of that. Also doing pilates and bodyweight training on alternate days. And I nearly forgot to say... I'm loving being on holiday somewhere beautiful!
07/23 65.0kg twice in a row makes it real and its day 200 so I'm very happy. IF going a bit better as it helped having a carpenter in the house blocking access to the fridge! Pilates was tough yesterday and pushup and squats happening later today.
07/24 65.1kg which isn't a problem. Pilates later today and I'll walk down to the beach for a swim. Barely moved out of the house with the plumbers and carpenters here.
07/25 65.0kg with a very short swim and some pilates yesterday. IF is getting easier. Today's plan is a repeat of yesterday's with the addition of a fish lunch as we saw the catch come in yesterday. I'd love to post pics but it only allows me to do it on the pc at work which is far away!
07/26 65.0kg still here. Its all going smoothly so I guess the weight will come off when it wants to! Pushup, squats and a swim yesterday. Pilates some time today.

07/28 65.0kg again. Ate over calories yesterday but still at a deficit. Haven't exercised for 2 days as I've been feeling dizzy. Back on it today no excuses.
07/29 65.0kg but did the pushup and squats yesterday. No more dizziness and IF its a bit easier although it's the only thing I have changed and now I'm not losing. I'll keep at it for a few more weeks to see if there are benefits.
