I would love to make my goal of 140 this month. Saw 141.7 last week of July once and then boom never again. I spiked back up to 143/144, so hoping it will go back down and get comfortable there. I guess we will see what August brings us! Good luck everyone!

I did it! Got a call from my sister in law just as I was wrapping up my work day. She was going to be near my home - did I want to meet her at my local park and do the 2 mile trail? It would have been so easy to say no, that I was exhausted. It's Thursday, and I'm already in overtime. I bucked up and I did it, because this is what it takes. I'm am not going to hit my goals if I don't push myself out of this funk. First time in a month that I've hit all 8 of my Fitbit goals. β13

Weighing-in on Saturday to begin my last detox for the summer season!! I'm pumped for this one. Unlike July, I had too many distractions which prevented me from completing my detox. Now, I'm super focused because this is my final detox until my next one which might be at the end of the year or January of next year.
I'm going to push hard and finish strong!
I need this summer season to really work for me!

Thoughts: First Friday weigh-in promising. Feel off to a strong start. Had that unplanned 2 miler last night (yay me!). That put me off my eating plan with a late dinner, but I stayed at calorie goal and got 2 more bottles of water than usual.
I picked up produce for a big pot of soup on the way home. It's a variation of that viral Mayo Clinic soup. I know the "diet" is a fake - I just love the soup. Cabbage, onion, bell pepper, chopped tomato, and vegetable broth with fresh herbs. Lean burgers on the grill tonight. That gives me time this evening to focus on meal plan for next week, and hit farmer's market in the morning π
