Cant complain these were yummy!7 -
I actually liked Safeway’s scandal-less birthday cake ice cream flavor more than Enlightened’s and Halo Top’s. The texture is closer to Halo Top which I like, but it’s just as sweet, if not sweeter than Enlightened’s without tasting artificial.
I’m not crazy about some other flavors of Scandal-less compared to HT or Enlightened, but this one in particular is definitely something I’m getting again!

Ooooo I love birthday cake everything, I'll have to try it!2 -

There are a few companies that make milk chocolate "cinnamon toast crunch" bars. Trader Joe's and Chuao are the first that come to mind. It'd be interesting to see how this one measures up to those. (For what it's worth, we thought the TJ's bar was both better and cheaper than the Chuao one.)
I'm also kinda concerned about anything that calls itself just "white confection" or "pink confection."2 -
I haven't personally seen them, but someone has spotted these and my husband is REALLY excited about the idea. They don't sound like my kind of thing.

I'm not sure about those particular flavors paired with the ruby cacao, but I'd try them. That brand of plain ruby cacao is something that I really enjoy. I've been thinking about making ruby cacao s'mores and/or dipping homemade coconut macaroons in it. I freeze the macaroons and they last a long time, one or two small ones make a perfect little treat.0 -

I feel like the grapefruit especially is just going to be extremely tart. I didn’t care for the ruby chocolate by itself because it was a little tart for me, but I guess that’ll be good for people who aren’t really into super sweet stuff. I’ll pass though :x
Also, if anyone is a fan of Key Lime, Lil Buff Protein’s Key Lime Grind cake mix is fantastic! My personal favorite flavor by them is still caramel apple, but as far as key lime things go, they couldn’t have done a thing to make it better. I wish I had some Key Lime Halo Top to scoop on top of it haha.
Note: I used to use carton egg whites with these. Dont. Fresh egg white makes a huge difference, just crack an egg and remove the yolk yourself! It’s cheaper and way better that way! I also added 60mL of milk instead of 30mL by accident and it made the cake way more moist, so I’ll be doing that again too!

Ha! “Brand Banter” 🤔🤔5 -
For Built Bar lovers, there's a lot of new stuff today.
New Mango Built Bar and promo:
Also, a completely new bar called Built Burner:
The bar is 120 calories with 3g fat, 15g carbs, 6g fiber, 3g sugar, and 18g protein. They claim it reduces appetite, burns fat, and has a weight loss formula. It has green tea extract, garcinia cambogia, L-carnitine, and L-tyrosine. It comes in six flavors: Apple Pie, Caramel Brownie, Peach Cobbler, Piña Colada, Raspberry Lemonade, and Strawberry Banana. There is an 18 flavor mixed box of all six flavors and it's $42 but they're doing 10% off as a promo.
I don't give a damn about their claims of what it does but I did just order a mixed box and got my two free Mango bars lol.

I really want to try these, but wish when you went to build a box you could choose out of all their available flavors. I don't see lemon, blueberry cheesecake or strawberry in the build a box options. So should I still build a box with other flavors, or does someone really feel strongly that one of those other flavors is THE BEST?0 -

That's so weird! I've definitely made a box with strawberry in the past:
I wonder why they've changed it. I wonder if they're phasing those flavors out so they will only sell full boxes of them or if it's just a mistake on their part after putting in other flavors as selections.

I forget who posted about this bar, but this is one of my new favorites! It definitely tastes like a Little Debbie Nutty Buddy bar without the chocolate coating.
Anyone try this one? Better than the non-chocolate variety?4 -

Oh man those Little Debbie bars are my weakness! How do they compare in regards to size? Will I need two bars to be as satisfied as I was with those Nutty Buddy bars or is one bar pretty large?2 -

They had the strawberry but now it looks like it's gone but they added the mocha, banana, and mint brownie.
I kinda want that cooler!0 -

Oh man, I bought a box of each flavor back in late June and I finally understood what it meant to not be able to stop eating a food. These were so addictive to me and I enjoyed both flavors. I won't let myself buy them anymore because I was eating several per day.5 -
FINALLY found this ice cream. SO YUMMY! Just needs chocolate chips or something but i just mixed it with the breyers chocolate ice cream.
I wish it was easier to find and there were more flavours (the PB was is always "out of stock" and the only two other the stores here seem to carry is salted caramel and strawberry I think (I am completely about chocolate and PB). But it's also very new that they carry the mousse ones so maybe it will be easier and more flavours with time.

I contacted Build Bars about the build your own box options and all I got was that sorry those flavors are not available in the build a box. No reason, just sorry.1

I found the bar to be a decent size. It looked around the size of most protein bars, but less grams due to how light and crispy the bar is.2 -

Another brand I don't like... don't know the people behind it. And that's WHY I don't like this brand! It seems really suspicious IMO. I don't trust it.8 -

I like Power Crunch bars too for this reason!3 -
Finally found this flavor at Grocery Outlet
Meh slightly better than Arctic Zero's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (the one released before the new flavors), but only slightly. The base just tasted like bland Chocolate Chip Cookies that you would eat out of desperation when you want a sweet fix, but ran out of the tastier cookies in your snack cupboard. Didn't taste that sweet & wasn't reminiscent of the brownie/cake batters that you snuck tastes of while your mom/grandma weren't looking.
I also bought Cookies & Cream so not really holding my breath that it will taste much better.2 -

I'm not the biggest fan of them either despite posting about the new bars and placing an order today. I wrote a rant like 20 pages ago how their customer service reps tried to convince me I ordered the box of Mint Brownie they sent me rather than their original Mint flavor despite presenting them with multiple pieces of evidence that I had indeed ordered Mint. I ended up letting it go since Mint Brownie ended up being the superior flavor but it didn't sit well with me.
If they just released the Mango flavor today and not a whole new line of bars, I probably would have passed but since I've had various successful orders with them in the past I gave them another chance. Also, I make this disclaimer in almost every post about Built bars but their bars are rarely 110 calories. By weight, most of mine are around 125. Not a big deal but that could add up for people who eat several per day.4 -

I just bought a sample box a couple days ago, now I'm a bit concerned about dealing with them. I didn't wanna make a big purchase but the site said 100% money back guarantee so I figured it was worth trying it. I guess now I know ahead of time their customer service may be crap. 😐1 -

To be fair, that was one order out of five; the other four went smoothly. I probably could have argued it further but I didn't feel like it was worth it. That being said, when presented with my evidence they shouldn't have doubled down on the denial either. Unless I was truly in the wrong, which I wasn't, I shouldn't have been dismissed in the way I was. If I ever do have another incident with them, I am done with the company though.3 -

Yah that definitely isn't top notch customer service. I'm hoping I really like them so the purchase will be worthwhile.1 -

Me too, I just made my first purchase. I was hoping customer service would say they'd let me switch out a bar for another flavor (or throw one in for free) that wasn't listed, but no such luck.1 -

I saw that you contacted them about it and didn't get a favorable response. For what it's worth, I'm seeing similar complaints on their Instagram today. If you do end up liking the bars, hopefully their selection will change by the time you place another order.3
