I started out at 263 pounds, I am now 173! All done with CICO, though I did add in a gym membership 3 months ago. Thanks for all the support these last few years. I still have 40 pounds to go, but I'll take it slow and steady...eventually I'll get there

I am so excited for you!
I hope to be done with obese by the time I have my doctor's visit on the 26th. However, at this point it only looks likely if I can also grow an inch, as I haven't lost anythiy in the last week.2 -

I use a walker most of the time and a wheelchair on longer trips. I did 80% of this just by watching what I eat so YES, almost anyone CAN do it and do it without starving themselves. Mainly I ate smaller portion sizes. I still eat chocolate for dessert every night, I refuse to drink plain black coffee etc, I just make sure it all fits calorie wise.
Thanks for the support everyone!
I never planned on using these pics online, but what the heck (far left picture isn't even my highest weight. I would have had a better background and worn a better outfit (and watch as it gets bigger in each pic )if I had this to do over

That is awesome, “you go girl!” I am happy for you. Reading your post title made me have instant recollection of how it felt when I broke out of the obese level of body fat. It is nice to hear and see your successes! Slow & steady is always a great path to chose!
Best wishes,

I don’t think any of us can appreciate how difficult it’s been to be where you were, being on a walker, and how far you’ve come. I bet you feel like a new person! Keep on killing it!0

That's so motivating! Thanks for sharing this. My goal is to get under "obese" and it's really helpful to hear your story.0

That is wonderful. You look great. I went from morbidly obese to overweight also, it is a great feeling.1

Very cool! I cannot wait till I can say the same. Started out 272.6 and I am not 201.8. So that translates BMI wise from 42.7 to 31.6 now. 190 will be out of obese territory. Great job, hope to join you very soon!1

I can't wait until my scale says the same! I am probably at the lower end of obese but it hurts to see it:/1
