I really hate admitting it, but Little Debbie products do have a place in my heart... just not my diet! I don't support the company, their business practices, ingredients, etc. But dang... something about a soft, spongy Swiss Roll...
Those strawberry rolls! The strawberry swirls look just so inviting with the spongy cake & creamy frosted bottoms. The hard part is always pulling them off the wrapper without the bottom ripping off. The only sweets currently in my house are a babe Ruth bar & a York peppermint patty. There's 2 buckets of ice cream in the freezer too, but I'd really like some Little Debbie's now tbh 😆0 -

I just want buttercream frosting. I don't even need the cake.
Cake is basically a vehicle for buttercream icing, and a way to recover in between hits. We have a thing called 'Cake Wednesday' at work, and I have a BAAAAD habit of wandering down after the scrum has ended and spooning up the icing adhering to the outside of the empty cake platters...
I do this too!!! Can't waste it.
Been guity of this ...😂
That's the reason for seeing these on cakes...perfect for 'snacks'

This thread make me realize how repelled I am by processed food.
Just had breakfast, not hungry now.
When hungry, I'd like either a zero calorie Thai Iced Tea or Mango Lassi.5 -

Considering both have milk or yogurt in them, how are they zero calorie? And I assume you're using raw milk, because only us low class processed food eaters would sully ourselves with pasteurization.
I also just had breakfast and I'm not hungry right now. Once I get hungry, I'm going to have a beer11 -
I kind of burned through my calories for the day & only have 200 left, so I'm not sure what i'll be doing for dinner tonight. A slice of bread is 100 calories & I think we're supposed to get pizza tonight which will mean I can have one slice if I can hold off till then, but at the same time it's probably not a good idea I eat that.2

Everything that goes through a supplier's hands is processed in some way or another. organic is still processed...but that being said, it's still better to choose healthier options for health well being.3 -
Filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes, crab cakes, asparagus, braised portobello mushroom in au jus, creme brulee', and a glass of cabernet sauvignon with a lemon water chaser.6

Every other thread in the forum is about telling people what they "should" do, why can't we just have a little fun in here . Anyone can feel free to start their own food porn thread with only healthy, virtuous, unprocessed food if our choices bother them.
I have been nostalgic recently for the dessert my aunt would have for every birthday party she threw, a seven layer cake from an Italian bakery in NY. A big slice with a giant dollop of real whipped cream and I'd beg for a sip from one of the adult's coffee to go with it

Seeing those pastries made me think a bagel sounds really delicious right about now 🤤 if you go in the afternoon sometimes the lady will always throw in a few for free since the shop closes around that time & they don't want to throw them out or let them go stale. Sometimes they're just half off, but just so delicious you can't help but get more than one.3

Those closing time bagels are one of life's great joys! Toast that bugger and you're good to go.6 -
Yes! Completely agree! We recently got some Hawaiian bagels & they were just heaven. The bagels we've been getting lately are literally bigger than my hand for $1. I get them every time I go now 😅
My grocery store hasn't had my favorite bagged bagels in for about a year now. I was fortunate enough to snag a couple bags before they sold out & freezed one bag for later use, but now I'm completely out so got to get bagels somewhere else 😆 it's not easy finding a really good bagel. I made some bagels before, but I don't constantly have time to do that.1 -
Will be cooked in a smoker.. 😁

@pancakerunner -- with this image, we can now dispose of the new "Disagree" button, because.... well, just because. That's great.
