I think i made a mistake committing to go to a wedding down in Sea Island Georgia. I thought wearing a tux was gonna be my biggest objection, now flying seems like its something im not going to want to do......

You could always charter a private plane. Some Airports in CA, especially private ones are using thermal testing for fever. Coronavirus scare has everyone in a tizzy.

Wondering who are more annoying - Those who take everything literally or those who use ‘literally’ in every sentence.

Gotta go grocery shopping tomorrow. How many packs of toilet paper will keep the coronavirus away?

It's a beautiful thing to see women support each other around here.
I noticed that. Sometimes I wonder if guys would show the same support for a guy. or if we’re hardwired to be a bit less supportive and hard headed. There’s a guy who was in my office, he’s out now because of prostate cancer...ppl just laughed and joked “you’re gonna be half the man you used to be after the surgery”

I think sometimes men struggle with sensitive, tough subjects. At the end of the day I'd hate to think they mean any I'll will.

Usually it’s all in good humor, but sometimes we might lack in the empathy department

Sometimes I wonder if it's just easier to deal with when you add humor, instead of being all hugs and stuff. I know lots of men like that, and according to them, its just their way. They might get the more emotional stuffs from the women in their life, but I guess maybe guys with other guys, show their support a little differently.

Honestly as long as the support is there, and they know it, maybe that's all that really matters. Knowing that you are thought of and cared about and supported through a tough time, might be enough. Whether it's through sensitive comments and hugs, or through jokes and pats on the back.

I don't know, just random head thoughts and musings.....

I could be completely wrong about all of it. :#

Depends on the person - my closest friends I’d prolly joke with as they actually know me and my humor- someone I didn’t know well maybe not

Yeah some guys can really pull this off... Like with my good friends I could see myself joking around about it...

When my brother had back surgery for a herniated disc I gave him *kitten* about it 😂... Laughing at your situation sometimes is the best medicine...

But I do know what people mean about acting too tough...

Like my boy never cries on the soccer field, I see all these other kids take falls and cry on the floor for like 10m until they are escorted off... But not my boy, he gets back up and goes hard again...

Although once I suspect he had a concussion for like 2 days before we realized it because he just wouldn't complain... It wasn't until he finally came home from school with a bad headache saying he couldn't concentrate... 😬

Have you ever opened a door with your elbow because the restroom was out of paper towels or only had one of those electric hand dryers?

    me neither.
