I did risk the gym to keep my streak of making it to my anti-t-rex sessions going, five for five on that now!
Glad it didn't end up with another kind of streak. Haha.

@rheddmobile Congrats to both of you! Love the report.

PS. Mu husband did the 5 miler at the HM I just did - He hasn't run in years, but decided to do because of the cause and walked/ran it and came in 3rd for his age group. We won't mention that there were only 4 in his age group and the first was an elite so - he didn't count. Sshh.
I'm just thrilled he did it and finished. Made him feel pretty good too.

Hey, he can't control how many people in his age group show up to race.

Very true. Haha, He showed up and that counts!

In endurance sports, there are TWO things that separate the top of the back from the rest.

    1) Showing up.
    2) Finishing.

He nailed both and got the reward. :)

I like this. Yes he did, and I think he now has "the Bug"

Race Report – Boise Jack and Jill Downhill HM. It is long and there are a bunch of pictures. I haven't been able to access the actual race pictures but they are free which is cool assuming we can get to them eventually.

TLDR - short version... we went to Boise stayed up late for a football game on Saturday, raced my 25th HM on Sunday morning. Temps were good but it was very dry, only ~12% humidity. Finished 9th in my AG.

    Well done!

@kgirlhart I feel the same way - usually takes about a couple miles before I start getting into it as well.
Scary about the car almost getting you. Glad you noticed!
