I fear we will end up in some kind of “Terminator” type situation.

I just sat through a few presentations last Friday on AI and what it is and what it isn’t. These experts promised we wouldn’t have a terminator future

if thetis had used a mcdonalds fryer basket to dip baby achilles in the river styx he would’ve been invulnerable all over

He woulda been vulnerable in a cross-hatch pattern across his back and butt maybe

Sounds like something AI would say

I want a boyfriend so badly. That’s what’s on my mind. Don’t need one but really want one.
the only way to feel freedom is by taking the opposite sex off your mind

Freedom from what exactly? Loneliness? Elaborate homie?
just the freedom from frustration (of not havin what we want)

Having what we want as far as a relationship then .. cause there is still plenty things to want that are outside of reach right - career - material things and what not - seems we humans are always wanting a little more of something- are we ever really content ? 🤔

I don't know if anyone is every really content and in some ways that's scary. Good when thinking about science and disease cures and things, but not so great in material objects and relationships
If someone is in a relationship and not content, then they should not be in that relationship. I honestly feel that all humans need to learn to be on their own. And seeking other people when already in a relationship is wrong unless it's mutually agreed on.

I don't disagree. I don't think all people go looking though. I think some people end up becoming discontent because they think other people have better relationships or situations.

I had this idea that a fairly good relationship could continue to evolve and grow and get even better and thereby satisfy that innate discontentment. My experience has not really borne that out but I have faith it is true in some cases.

I'd like to believe this. I think some people can do this. Our society has changed a lot though and now people seem to be less satisfied with other people.

Truthfully, I'd rather have an absent father than to have one who is in my life but avoids all interaction with me. Or one who breaks my spirit.

I use exercise as a distraction, to block thoughts. If I took away exercise, my mind would follow.

I'm sort of curious just about how easy Tinder makes it for women to find dates

Women don’t have a hard time finding dates, just a hard time to dissect the creepers 😂
Men do have a hard time finding dates when there's 99+ males interested in one female dating profile. But this is the sad thing - the guys who women don't get to (or care to wait for) are maybe left unseen forever. There's a world beyond dating apps, and people forget.

From my standpoint, I personally feel a man has a better chance with small talks in person (grocery store, the gym, some kind of hobby) vs. dating apps. I’ve found, in short conversations that men/women are more interesting (or find more of a common interest) then to be hopeful about a face on a screen.

I've found that if you throw a buncha people into an abandoned building and put in a myriad of killer traps, they're more likely to find common ground and relationships can develop (should they survive)

I'm also excited that it's October 1 and Halloween is later this month

😂😂 or you might throw bodies, in front of you to make sure the next room is clear.

    Gahhhh the kids candy.
