I started wearing a 14/16 at my highest weight. At my current weight of 130-135 I comfortably wear a size 4 on the bottom and Small/medium top. At 60 (almost 61) I'm very happy with this weight range. I would switch over to maintenance, but every few weeks we take a trip and I put a few pounds back on. Now I have a fear of gaining it all back of I'm not always in a losing state of mind.
That’s my ideal size. It’s strange though since now every pound makes a difference and in the past every ten pounds was the difference. I don’t have much muscle so trying to focus more on weights because focusing on body fat might help. I’m lucky I don’t have to think about maintaining yet, but I know for me that will be a bigger challenge than losing because it’s not temporary (hopefully)

I closed out September with an 8,6 loss for the month. However, I’m still behind the power curve to lose 27 pounds in the last 27 weeks of 2019. With only 13 weeks left in 2019, I’ve got 19 pounds to go. Not impossible, but I need to make October a big month.
I’m going to make a goal to lose 9 pounds in October. By losing that much in October, I can reach a very reasonable rate of one pound a week to close out 2019 and still meet my 27 pounds in 27 weeks goal.

Successes: Stayed on track even though I was away for 10 days and unable to weigh in! Am now on week 6 of the C25K running program, have got into a great habit of exercising almost everyday (I do yoga on the days that I don't run - Yoga for Beginners with Adriene on youtube).
I have also started the Last 90 Days challenge, one week in so far, have created a great habit of hitting most of the "5 to thrive" (get up earlier, drink more water, do 30 mins every day of exercise, write down 5 things you're grateful for, give up one food you know is bad for you) as well as creating a 'roadmap' towards my next goal.
I feel like I am in a great groove now. At the beginning of the year I had this long list of goals that I wanted to hit, and for months and months I would hit one or two, but fall down on all the others. Like, writing a gratitude journal was amongst my goals, but it wasn't until last week that I finally adopted it. It's really hard to create a new habit, but once you have it, it is easy to maintain and you can get started on the next one. So it took ages to hit the right strides with diet, and then I've slowly added extra "layers" on top one by one, adding new habits, that are helping me be healthier and fitter and hit more of my goals.
Challenges: The last ten days were a bit challenging because I was away from home, and had to modify some of my eating habits to fit in with others (like, people who eat dinner later at night, people who eat high-carb foods, etc) but I was able to keep mostly on track and I am really glad that it shows "I can do it" even when outside my place of comfort. The week ahead is my husband's birthday and we will no doubt eat out - I don't know where he wants to eat, but I will choose the healthiest meal I can.

Successes: Small weight loss this week, have kept on track with eating, IF, exercise and the Last90Days Challenge, been getting up earlier in the morning.
Challenges: This week I'm adjusting: my daughter is back to school, and I have to get up extra early to get my morning routine in before driving her to school. Today I missed out on my run because I had forgotten to download the right podcast the night before, and our internet is really slow at the moment, so it took 30 mins to download this morning - which pushed all the timings out so I had to skip the run. Will do it tomorrow instead.
I'm feeling tired from the earlier mornings, will take a few weeks for my body to adjust to the new time frames. Also feeling low energy in general, not sure why. Maybe not the best week to try an extended fast, yet that is what I have planned for this week! Wish me luck2 -

Successes: Got blood test results back showing I have now reversed my insulin resistance! Thyroid results also now normal (was previously described as "sluggish"). Last week I completed my first extended fast (139hrs), am now on week 8 of the C25K, keeping on track with eating, exercise, sleep, etc.
Challenges: Blood tests also revealed anemia. Might explain the extra tiredness, which I had thought was adjusting to earlier mornings and daylight savings.2
