This week's challenges: I gained 10 pounds in July. (Stress eating my way through a month of grad school.) I've lost half of them but I'm still working on the rest. It's been hard to rally. It's been 1 year since I started getting healthy and I had hoped to have lost 100 pounds by now. But due to the July gains, I'm only at 58.6. Which is still a good loss overall but not where I wanted to be and I'm way behind on the loss for this challenge. This is usually the point that I would throw in the towel but I really want to get back on track and keep getting healthier.2 -

Challenges: For the last 1.5 weeks my weight has been bouncing up and down each day, gaining and losing the same 0.7kg / 1.5lbs, and of particular annoyance is that my BMI is moving back and forth between the "obese" category and the "overweight" category - I really want to stay below that line!
This week I've eaten way more chocolate than normal. It has been 70% dark chocolate (not as much sugar or carbs as other chocolate), and in one case tried a dark sugar-free chocolate (not as nice), and it's nothing like how much I used to eat when we bought chocolate - but it is kind of slipping in my habits.
Successes: Pretty good with my eating & IF, have gotten in a lot more walking this week, and some mindfulness.1 -

As a late joining member to this group, I’m only 4 weeks into this challenge and I’ve lost 5 pounds. I’m on pace to lose 23 pounds in the last 23 months of this year. However, I should be banking up easy pounds in these early times of my challenge. I’m still lacking the dedication to keto to keep me in ketosis. I get lazy and give in too easy to old Non-keto ways that keep me teetering on the brink of ketosis. Next week my goal is to get into full on ketosis, then stay there the whole week.

Successes: A great week, lost 1.7kg (3.7 lbs). Was pretty good with my eating & IF, have gotten in a lot more walking this week.
Challenges: Had an all-day workshop with catered lunch and drinks afterwards. I decided it was easier to fast for lunch than negotiate the standard high-carb choices (I eat low-carb, wholefoods), but I did have two glasses of wine at drinks after the workshop (first time I've had alcohol in 8 months!). I wasn't sure if this would affect my weight, but it didn't seem to do any damage.1 -

I ran a full 13.11 miles this week! Time was 3:11. Now I know I can do my official half marathon in Jan. Working on getting the time down to under 3 hours now. I run slow, but it is running.
