*My weight has been stagnating and lately has been going slightly up, so I wanted to post all of my weekly weights for the last year (I've been posting in these challenges for over a year) as seeing the big picture is encouraging to me. I have been lacking in my extreme motivation and discipline to get these last pounds off. Comparing myself to where I was a year ago is really helpful to show me how far I've come already!5 -

Everyone is having a great start to fall (or spring in the southern hemisphere). This is great! Here's my success:
Original starting weight (March 2013) - 175.4
Original MFP starting weight (January 2018) - 168.2
August 30, 2019 starting weight - 146.0 (ten-day rolling average 146.7)
Ultimate goal - Maintain around 143 (range between 140 - 150)
I had achieved my goal last Winter and gone into maintenance. I have mostly stayed within my goal range, but have bounced around a bit. Now as the seasons change again, a new maintenance challenge awaits. I'm sticking to it!
September 1: 143.0 (10-day average 145.8) This is the meteorological beginning of fall.
September 2: 148.2 (10-day average 146.0) Look how the scale went up so much but the average just a little.
September 9: 147.2 (10-day average 145.2)
September 16: 144.0 (10-day average 144.4)
September 23: 141.8 (10-day average 142.7) Equinox - astronomical start of fall. I am now at my goal weight.

Hoping to reach my final goal weight by the end of this year and start to figure out maintenance. I lost just over 6 pounds in the summer challenge so the weight is coming off super slow these days, but I am ok with that. My weigh-in days are on Tuesdays. Good luck everyone!

Sept.17: 146.3 Was much lower all week, but TOM showed up yesterday. Water retention!
Sept.24: 144.3 started back logging and CICO last week, so this is a nice drop. 1 more week to lose a couple more pounds

CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT: 162.8
(I weigh-in on Saturdays)
Sept. 7: 164.2 lbs -- (+1.4) Wow, not a good start to this challenge! It's TOM and apparently I wasn't making great choices like I thought I was. Time to get my *kitten* in gear and get serious!
Sept. 14: 161.8 lbs -- (-2.4) Yay! Adding strength and my unbreakable vow (through another challenge) of no processed sugar on weekdays has really helped. Hoping this momentum continues!
Sept. 21: 163.4 -- (+1.6) Sigh. I really have no idea why I gained this week. I started strength training more, and I started a personal challenge of not eating any processed sugars on week days, and I've stuck to it. Only thing I can think is I definitely have not been eating all my calories during the day and maybe I'm putting my body into starvation mode. I have had that happen before. In either case, I'll just keep trucking along!
Sept. 28: 161.2 -- (-2.2) Yay!!!! Movement in the right direction -- let's see if we can continue it this week.

Oct. 5: 161.4 lbs -- (+0.2) Had to weigh in this morning instead of yesterday. I knew I would be up slightly because I ran my 7th half-marathon this morning and I carbo loaded a bit yesterday in preparation. I'll get it off next week no problem!
Oct. 12: 163.6 lbs -- (+2.2) -- Sigh. I'm not surprised though since I was hungrier than usual this week, and it usually takes a week for my body to resettle after the chaos a half-marathon causes on it.
