I’m currently hovering around 150, but I’ve lost all discipline! I’m hoping to get back into it this week and going forward!

Update: 7 months since I started.
Age 54, Height 6'1", SW 280 lbs, CW 198 lbs, UGW 180 lbs
My labs went from the worst in my life to numbers I haven't seen since I was last healthy in my 30s.
No more pre-diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, acid reflux...etc.
I am less than 10 lbs away from a normal BMI. Last April I was at stage 3 obesity.

Hi, sorry I've only just seen this comment. Firstly, thank you, that is very kind of you to say.
My advice would be consistency and honesty. Log everything daily, even the days where you go wild and eat everything in sight. Ensure you weigh everything on a digital scale. Tinker with your macro sources to find out what keeps you satiated - eg for me I have to eat higher protein and fat to maintain my defecit as carbs don't seem to fill me up for long. There is a whole host of useful information on the stickies at the top of the forums and I would recommend that you read them. Good luck!8 -
Oh sorry I forgot to answer your other questions. My starting weight was 135lbs, I now fluctuate between 111 and 113lbs. It took me about 18 months to shift the weight slowly, and there were lots of setbacks before it stuck. Exercise wise I was quite lazy. I did a few rounds of a lifting programme. Dabbled with running and cycling. However I was mostly lazy. It's only in the last few months I've started lifting properly using the stronglifts programme and I am seeing results almost weekly. I'd recommend finding something you enjoy doing and just doing that. Don't force yourself to do an exercise you don't like.12 -
My start weight was 95kg on 23.05.2019 (I haven't photo )

Hi, I am still a long way off ‘normal’ bmi etc but thought I would post as a boost to those who are struggling with the numbers. I started at 302 and I’m now at 222lb. So a big loss but still heavy [photos removed by MFP mods]
