My hips and bony knees ache when I sleep on my side, my back hurts when I sleep on my front or back.
It's 3.48am and this sucks.
Seriously. I also thought I would like the feel of being a bit more bony than I currently do. Occasionally I’ll brush a hand over a body part, go “yikes, what is that hard lump!” and then realize it’s just bone. It’s all a little sharper than I expected it to be too.
I even asked my athletic daughter how the heck she gets comfy and she just shrugged.
Does it get easier over time? I'm going to buy pillows today to pad myself out a little. I can only imagine how uncomfortable it'll be when the rest of this weight is gone

It has somewhat gotten easier as I've lost more weight and I *think* it has to do with the fact that I'm not quite done. So some parts of me are still "heavy" while other parts of me are now where they will be. I used to not be able to sleep with my legs together because it would hurt my knee bones. Now, I can, but I noticed it came after I lost an inch on my thighs/calves so my legs got a little lighter. I bought a tailbone pillow 10lbs ago that I had to use to sit, but now that I'm overall lighter, I don't need it as much. It still can be uncomfortable to sit, especially on hard ground, so I don't think it'll ever go away. But I remember it being that way before I'd gained weight. I'd rock from side to side as a kid on my bum/hipbones to balance the weight. XD XD
YMMV, of course, but for me, the discomfort has gotten better.

At 1st it's like sitting upon a bicycle seat {regardless, of 1's weight}, after a decade of not doing so. I bought an exercise bike, used it once & it hurt so immensely I was sore enough, that I was unable to even walk normally. I went to the store to purchase the largest, thickest package of maxi pads to stuff my pants, plus adhere to the seat with.
Within a week I was reducing the # of maxi pads, until a few weeks later none were necessary. The body eventually conforms, to changes.
Occasionally I have dreams where I crazy overeat. Last night it was mozzarella sticks and a whole lot of Burger King chicken sandwiches. My in-dream self used to enjoy it but now it’s like an anxious “omg, what am I doing, just stop” kind of dream. Ugh.
Cold? Amen. I pulled out a heating pad to warm a muscle pull, but now all I want to do is snuggle up to the thing. I feel like a one woman fire hazard. Maybe oughta upgrade.

I LOVE my electric blanket at work! Recently my couch blankets at home haven't been cutting it, but we just bought our son new bunkbeds and associated bedding. I have commandeered one of the poofy, dragon-covered, fleece backed twin blankets as my couch blanket

I need to get myself one of those heated blankets. One for home and one for work.
I've found that I'm wearing a lot more sweaters than I used to. As much as I would love to curl up in an electric blanket or a heating pad I really can't do that at work.

They make them for the car as well a lady at church was talking about getting one as a gift (she had GBP surgery a couple months ago and was talking about losing her layer of insulation and being cold all the time).

Get bicycle shorts. They actually have riding shorts that are built full of padding.

I have one at work too. I've always needed one though even when I was fat. They keep the air conditioning insanely high in most places during the summer.

I can relate to all the being colder posts. I used to work outside in frigid temps all the time and it rarely bothered me, and I kept my furnaces at 66-68 degrees in the winter ....Now the cold chills me to the bone and my heat is set at 70-72 degrees. My weight is going down and gas bills are going up!
I'm trying to decide if I've goofed up my sunglasses and that's why they seem so wide, or if I've just lost weight from my head. I should go try on some new sunglasses just to see, because I've always had trouble with finding sunglasses because I got a wide head. If more fit, then it might be the head.

We measured everyone during the holiday just for fun. I'm now officially closer to 5'3 than 5'2. Multiple takes, just to be sure.
I have a dirty mind, because I didn't look to try to figure out your gender and the second sentence is not where I thought that was going LOL!

Don't forget about the chamois cream.
A good sfw visual explanation of how to use:
