Hi, I'm Evelyn. 35 yrs old. new to MFP. New to trying to lose a few, get in shape, all of it.

Middle aged? I can’t be!! 😑
Just joined, and am on an intermittent fast day. It won’t allow me to complete my diary for today as I am to low in calories. Any way to bypass? Also, I started keeping a journal on Monday- and would like to enter it, however it doesn’t seem to want to let me go backwards. Am I missing something?
Thank you so much in advance for the help!
My name is Christina, nice to meet you all! 😁1 -
pellet stove is fixed! Yay! (my wallet says Yay too! lol) And hopefully, the new tubing will be here soon so that when the tube goes out again, I'll finally have a replacement. I had a time finding parts for this thing; none of the local dealers carry the parts and everything had to be ordered. My unit doesn't have a model or serial number stamped on it anywhere - the technician looked - so it took a bit for me to figure out what I needed to even have it ordered. There's a rubber hose for the vacuum switch on this thing, and it has now gone bad twice in the 3 years I've had it. It gets brittle and then just falls apart. Not sure why that one has so much trouble; the other tube in the stove is fine. So now I know - change that tube at the start of every season. Thankfully, the one I have on order is 5 feet long and I only need a piece about 9 inches long, so it should last me a while!3

Have they called to book my thyroid biopsy? Why, no, they have not! So tomorrow I get to go rattle cages. Grr. I'd like to get this settled, I'm scratching myself bloody I'm so dry, and needless to say, weight loss is glacially slow when hypothyroid.
But even if I'm not losing fast/at all, I'm making good habits, and that's what matters.0 -
Add me too.aboit to be 40:)0

Someone told me today I motivate them. Blush. I just... I feel this is something that I just do every day, and it's no more than that. But I recognize that that's a big deal, to just get up and go work out every morning and overcome the deconditioning, and gradually sneak up on muscle building and cardio capability without triggering a bout of exercise intolerance. It's made so much easier by having all of these wonderful people here who support me.3

Well, I get to work on losing weight while we move! We've started looking at homes on the north end of our metro area; closer to Boyfriend's work, Girlfriend's school, and more splitting the difference between where his parents live and where my family lives. This is going to be interesting.2

To discuss your fitness goals? Wouldn't men be good to chat with too?7 -
Forgot to eat lunch today. I have....never done that before. But this is proof of where I am in my relationship to food. I just grabbed a little bag of trail mix and had it in the car waiting for the realtor to show us a house, and that was okay. I never in a million years could have imagined that as being okay.3

Enjoyed a long walk with my son along the lake trails. We are going to make this a weekly date weather permitting.5

Good morning, hope everyone had a great weekend. Time too get serious again! Been gaining lately instead of losing. Even maintaining would be nice since I am trying to build more muscle. Struggling with food since my surgery, but pretty much feel back to normal physically.0

I hear ya Mike!!! Too many good recipes I want to try. Coupled with surgery recovery as I know you have and all the other stuff in your life. I'm jumping back on the bandwagon with you1 -

Hope you're not gaining MUCH, and when you get recovery complete it comes back off easily. Weekend has been good so far - one more day to go, and I think I'll brave the roads and the "winter weather advisory" and get a few laps in on the ski hill. I need to work off all those bagels I had for supper last night that pushed the scale up a stupid amount for one day, but that's just what happens.0 -
Hi all plz feel free to add me 👍1
