So I passed my Jan goal (the first month is always the easiest) I'd like to end the month at 225 now (this week is more deskbound so expect to slow a bit) TBH the 15 pounds this month I am more than happy with as a kickoff. February will be tougher I'm on vacation in Mexico for 12 days and I am sure I will slide back on my diet a little it is vacation 10 10

Thanks so much @holli1ch ! Appreciate the encouragement and support. Not for nothing, I clocked in at 153.9 this morning!
 From 155 to 153.9 = AWESOME!
 Just stay with the program.
I have to remember this is a marathon, not a sprint.
Sigh. 155 again this AM.... marathon not sprint. marathon not sprint. marathon not sprint. marathon not sprint.6

You CAN do this. Stay focused and remember your 'why'.
Why are you changing your habits? Why are you feeling better because you have lost weight? Why are you looking better because of the changes you are making? Why are you doing this?
 Marathon not a sprint...marathon not a sprint... 5 5

 You said it sister!
My scale went up 3.5 pounds overnight. It was so much that even my TREND weight went up a third of a pound. I know why; it was all the bagels I had for supper. All the mass of food in my system, the glycogen top-off, and all the water I drank since bagels are fairly salty. This, too, shall pass. Try not to let the daily up/down cycle get in your head without paying rent. It's the LONG VIEW that matters. You should see the chart of my daily versus long term weights. Crazy stuff.Sigh. 155 again this AM.... marathon not sprint. marathon not sprint. marathon not sprint. marathon not sprint.
See above! It's not even a marathon. It's not even a 100-mile trail run. It's a beautiful journey that will give you enjoyment and tsuris for the rest of your life, and it will provide some beautiful scenery on the way. It will also offer opportunities for side trips off the path, and you should take 'em. They lead to really interesting and lovely places to see. Just get back on the path when you're done with the side trip. See you on the path!

We WILL do it again in February! And don't be too hard on yourself. Look at that --> you're down two pounds for the month. That's a half pound a week, and that is a VERY sustainable rate for the long term. Stick to it!

I’m not sure why is this is such a slow process. I have been eating on track and exercising everyday. Last month was a great month. This month is disappointing. I was 182 a few days ago. Not sure why I went up again. 🧐
 Could be water weight.
You are still loosing. Body is adjusting to new things, eating times and exercise.
Remember this is a life journey and at times we go through detours, go over speed bumps, take an exit, or get stuck in traffic. Keep focused on the road ahead and not what is in the rear view mirror.
 Great advice! Thank you.2

 Ultimate Goal Weight: 135 lbs
Jan 1 : 165.4lbs. I gained a two pounds over the two week holiday with family and friends but still lost one lb for the month. Looking forward to getting back to a exercise routine again.
Jan 8: 163.0 lbs. Yay, already met this month's goal, hoping to hold or loose more. this is the lowest I have been in over 5 years.
Jan 15: 164.0 lbs Ok, we all knew that was to good to be true. Super hungry this week but I don't seem to loose if my calories are not under 1200 and I get in over 10,000 steps. Which is hard because of the below zero weather. But still on track for goal. I have found that eating from noon to 8 pm also is working at helping me loose.
Jan 22: 162.8 lbs Fluctuated a lot this week hoping to hold or go under.
 Jan 29: 161.0 lbs

 Jan15: 216.4
I will have to re-adjust my Jan goal from 215 to 212. And then continue to drink my water and record my food.
Jan 22: 214.2 Hit my original goal, looks like I might just make my readjusted goal by the end of the month.
Jan 29: 212.4 I will take this as a win I am within 4/10 of my readjusted goal.
