Well, that was fun. In spite of truly excellent snow tires I barely made it to the top of the 1/4 mile hill outside my house. Then I came face to face with unplowed roads. I made the car safe and then walked home. I’ll be in bed if you need me.8

If work guilt trips you, tell them to come pick you up. They will never show up.
I passed 1 plow truck in 30 min, on the way to work, and it wasn't plowing the road. WTF? Where do they think they live? MD!?! (or anywhere south)
We need all the trucks out!
Disclaimer: I lived in MD for 20 years. Running joke was we had 2 plow trucks per county, and if the snow sticks overnight, the state shuts down. lol Sister living in VA claims this still holds true.2 -

I have jury duty coming up and my boss has given me a predated written excuse to get out of jury duty because she doesn't think "regular people should have to serve on that level of jury duty." I'm offended in so many ways that I didn't ask what she meant by the statement.11
