It includes planks, crunches, lunges, stretches and waving the weights every which way. I break a sweat and get a little winded by the end. Then I go to the gym for cardio three days a week, but I have been slacking on that lately. I wish they would wipe down the door. I suppose I could wear gloves to get in.
I carry wipes in my car and take one when I go into buildings to open the doors with and punch elevators buttons etc..
They might be hard to find right now you can make your own if you have rubbing alchohol or witch hazel and paper towels.
People are snapping this up too but supplies should reappear soon. In the meantime you could just carry a clean rag to use to open the door too or gloves like you said. Whatever works!2 -
Barbie wonderful blanket
Heather lovely birthday cake
Had a beautiful 3 mile walk with DH, forsythia is just starting to bud, a few little bits of green is starting to appear on the trees. So encouraging, to see and smell Spring is almost here.
My thumb is improving, I warm up my arm, go through all the exercises/stretches which last about 20 minutes then ice up my arm and wear my splint. I don't love the splint at night but I wear it. I have stopped going to O.T. for now, but I think with my own O.T. regularly I can improve things on my own.
Happy Saturday everyone. NYKAREN3 -

So the jokes have started on Facebook and I thought I’d share two here.

Debby VA- Very smart! The parents still need to help her tho. Lower grades like PreK are stepped up. Problem is regular grades y colleges need to also with help from parents to students too depending on ages of students ...college kids can do it not their parents.

Terri, What a gift you have. Your painting is absolutely beautiful.
Elly Griffiths is one of my favorites! I love some of the talk of books on our discussions. Just finished Women Rowing North. I can't remember who recommended it but I put it on hold and when my turn came up, I just sat and enjoyed every page.
Betsy in NW Washington....5 -
Because of the comments some of you have made, I just ordered my first Elly Griffiths book for my Kindle. Can't wait to get started.
Carol in GA6 -
My oldest grandaughter.....almost 17!
Work was steady. Wiped down counters and credit card machine between customers. Had a clean pen cup. Once used left on counter, then we wiped down. Most customers said we understand.

There have been so many posts there is no way to catch up and comment on all of the goings on. I have been keeping up daily, but for my own sanity, have been skipping over the covid-19 panic posts and only have been reading the sound advice.
It’s very sad here. The beach cleanup scheduled for next week has been cancelled. I am still trying to figure out why since it was taking place in a huge beach park and everyone there would be able to keep a safe distance from each other. There has also been a notification the gleanings will probably stop until covid-19 passes. I keep thinking how are the food banks and soup kitchens going to keep up with demand which will certainly increase since many more will be without pay? I am fortunate, I can work remotely. The Florida workforce is mostly service-based so many employees must physically be at work.
I am certainly sending positive thoughts and prayers out to the world. I am hoping the precautions we are all taking stops/slows the virus and we can get back to normal.
Michelle – I hope your doctor is able to assist with getting your prescription added to your insurance. They can contact them and say it is the only drug that works for you and the insurance companies will make a exception so you can pay a reasonable price.
JanetO – Sorry to hear about the delay of your anniversary trip. Like many others are finding it is better to be safe. Most of the schools here are actually starting spring break a week early and will be looking how to incorporate distance learning until things go back to normal.
Tere – Sending positive thoughts the dermatologist is able to figure out what is going on with your skin and the current treatment is giving you some type of relief.
Allie – Sorry about your tax bill. Please note the IRS does have payment plans and working through one isn’t too bad.
Machka – Congratulations on completing the course. You’re almost there! Funny about cleaning your work office area. When I worked for a rather fast-growing software company I was move 14 times in a year and a half. I learned to keep it light including printed paper. I could pack my desk and fit it in to one standard paper box.
Mary from AZ/MN – I agree 100%. We are over informed and it’s causing much panic and craziness. Many people around me are starting to show signs of depression too.
Lisa – Oh, little Levi – how adorable is he! Haley is a cutie.
Heather – I agree with Okie – 100% now is better than maybe 125%. The cake is adorable. Bea looked very reflective in her birthday picture.
Karen – Lilly is adorable. She is growing so quickly.
Terri – The watercolor is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Margaret – I love the honeymoon picture. The two of you look so happy together.
Karen – I love the picture of Oliva and Phoenix.
Barbie – I love the Linus blanket. Thank you for sharing.
Lanette – I was just thinking about a rice/bean salad for my lunches next week. So sorry to hear about your brother and his family’s health challenges. Glad to hear everyone is on the mend. Poor baby a gallstone under two!
Samand – I think the Prediction Meme is probably going to turn out to be true. LOL!
I signed up for Prevention’s 5k Virtual Walk which is scheduled for May 2nd. It’s interesting I was a total couch potation a mere six months ago and am now signing up for 5ks!
Hugs to all and prayers for those in need.

Lanette - Sorry to hear about your brother and family woes. I love my brother so much. He is diabetic 2 and seems to have other frailties. A little bit worried about him. He said they were coming to see me now that the weather is better, but I guess that's off now.
DH sat out in the car for 45 mins with the engine running to get the battery charged up. He will have to run the car more often.
DDIL is going ahead with birthday plans for her 40th, but my guess is it will be truncated. She is quite sanguine. We are game for anything.
Just hope we don't get total lock down, but it may happen. The au pair wants to get back to her parents in Spain for Easter, but I'm not seeing it.
DDIL's father is having to pay a huge bill on Monday for their whole family holiday in Malta at the end of May. He is hoping the credit card company will foot the bill if it doesn't happen. Who knows? He seems resigned and hopeful it will be over by then.
Enjoyed our day, especially our evening blinis and Prosecco.
Son not sure about how secure his new job is, AF drinks and hospitality industry. He might have to lay a rep off next week. My son says he has funding for a year, but all is so uncertain. My DDIL can do a lot of psychotherapy consulting from home on Skype.
Che sera sera.
Settling down with repeat of Midsomer Murders. :drinker:

Since our library is closed for a month and I've gotten Elly Griffiths fever now, (Thank you Carol, Betsy, Heather and Karen!) I just remembered we have a huge used bookstore in town that I'm sure will be open. I'll head in there next week and see if he has any Elly Griffiths on the shelf. They are usually $1 each.
I'm nearly done with the new Ann Cleeves book.... I tend to race through them so I can see how they end. Hope to get it done tonight.
Saw Women Rowing North on my bookshelf and might give that another read (Betsy).
SuziQ - how strange they are stopping the gleaning over this, but better safe than sorry I guess.
I see my little bistro mentioned earlier is now offering "curb side" service. Great idea! If nothing else, folks are using their noodles and being creative. Love small business owners!
Heather - I'm currently re-watching Season 15 of Midsomer Murders! Every night I take my little tablet to bed and get in another episode.
Karen in VA - great Christmas present idea!! One of my girlfriends got the cutest little mini pit-bull. I asked her how much it cost in toilet paper rolls. The new currency, right?
Kylia - great photo of you and your granddaughter. I keep thinking you should be in the 40 year old MFP group. Glad to hear business was good today! Bet it will do fine, and I think people will start feeling better soon.

Did Kari Anderson’s Center Floor DVD. The beginning part was mainly ballet. I didn’t realize how much balance is involved in ballet. The plan for tomorrow is to do a Kari Katma Real Fitness DVD.
Happy Pi day everyone! So, what kind of pie are you making today??
Amber – when my daughter went to Australia to do an internship, Richard Simmons was on the plane so she got to meet him in person. She said he’s a really nice guy
Made chocolate chip cookies for Vince then rice in the IP to freeze for during the week.
Lector at the church tonight. Get this….the church sent out a memo that all Eucharistic Ministers should use hand sanitizer before giving out communion. Makes sense, but not everyone carries it in their pocketbook. So…I suggested that perhaps there should be a small table next to the altar with some hand sanitizer on it for people to use and also so that the congregation sees that it is being used. Will they do it? Probably not. Update: they didn't pass around the collection basket. They had a big basket that you were supposed to put your donation into. It really would have been nice if they'd told you before the end of the mass after a lot of people left. Oh, and they do have hand santizier, but it is far away fro the altar. I noticed that the altar server used it, but the deacon who gave our the Communion didn't. Mainly because he wasn't near it.
Betsy – I loved Women Rowing North, too. I recommended it to our Newcomer book club. Don’t know if they’re going to read it or not. To me, it’s the type of book that we can relate to
SuziQ – that would be wonderful, but I’m on medicare. This is the supplement. I don’t know if they’ll make an exception or not. I guess he can try….. Then again, we don’t have any proof that this is the ONLY medication that will work. We really haven’t tried any others. Now there is a lamictal that isn’t an ER (which I’m assuming means extended release). Will they say that I have to use that one? I don’t know.

There now saying the testing station is only if extremely sick with a bosses reporting it to get it. So no job or a kid no test at the drive through one. Not what they first sounded like3 -
🎈🎉🎈Happy Birthday 🎈🎉🎈
to both Bea and JR. Looks like they both had good times!2 -
Our new tenant is moving in today. She is a traveling nurse from North Carolina. She was supposed to be done here at the end of May but says they will probably extend her time or use her in another hospital run by the same group after she is done with her current job. I understand the demand for traveling nurses is going up. Duh?
KJ - hope you are enjoying those boys.
Michelle - They are not having church tomorrow here and have cancelled all small groups during the week for the next 2 weeks. Choir director suggested we should all sneak into the church on a Saturday and sit and sort music. He says we can maintain social distance. He is very bored as he normally announces sports events and there is nothing going on.
Heather - looks like a lovely cake and a fun time.
Love all the pictures!
Everyone take care, Sue in WA
