I didn't, though that would've been a good addition (I think the original recipe I used called for some as a topping, but I didn't have any around)! The filling is basically whipped cream folded into tahini with some sugar. It's really tasty.1 -

Some meals from the last few days - all vegan.Oats stirred with hot water, flax seed, vanilla extract, and salt and sweetener. Topped with vanilla soya yoghurt, frozen blueberries, and some ChocShot (date-based chocolate syrup). I learnt this trick of making quick oatmeal from Caitlin Shoemaker - the hot water and flax thicken the oats if you stir-in and leave the bowl covered for a few minutes. No microwave or stove-top required! + chamomile tea!Quick stiry-fry today using up some leftover veg: baby bok choy, shredded sprouts, carrots, spring onions. Plus teriyaki baked tempeh, and a piece of toasted sourdough with homemade hummus.Roasted veg soup made with leftover vegetables - carrot, potato, brussel sprouts, and cauliflower. Topped with mixed seeds and eaten with a slice of sourdough toast and vegan butter.7

Before
Prepped and ready to go into 425F oven.
After 45min, done. I'll use half thinly sliced for sammies and the other half diced for lunches at work.
I am curious, did you cure the turkey breast like you would a ham? I have made home made hams and sausage, but I have never tried curing poultry....1 -

Some recent meals - all vegan!Oats (hot water + flax seed) with peanut butter, blueberries, soy yoghurt, hemp seeds + cocoa date syrup.Tinned Amy's soup in the evening - this week I've tried both the organic rustic Italian soup and the organic Spanish rice and bean soup, either with a slice of rye or sourdough toast and some avocado.More oats! This one used peanut butter powder stirred in rather than the pb on the side + a mug of loose leaf English Breakfast tea with soy milk.A quick bean and carrot chilli, some roasted cauliflower, and homemade flatbread from Rebel Recipes (I used buckwheat flour).
