As we approach our final few days of the challenge- I want to Thank everyone for the support they offered over the last few weeks. I finally got over my 6 weeks of not losing and I think it was because I was accountable on here. I have not been exercising like I should but I also had no power for 6 days (which is stressful to say the least) and I have started a new job (which is frightening to say the least) I have however drastically lowered my calorie intake and feel so much better because of it. I feel like a new person with a new lease on life after losing my first 20 pounds- I can't wait to see how I feel once I accomplish losing my next twenty. I hope to reach my end goal of 70 pounds by April- and am right on track to do it! Again I want to thank you all for everything and wish you all the best of luck in continuing your weight loss journeys- the key I learned this time around is don't give up it eventually pays off in the end! There is no way I'm earning 13 points tomorrow, that is for sure, but it was fun trying, anyway! The only thing that will get me there is another trip to the zoo... and there are possibilities in that but I'd have to work really hard to talk my husband into that one! LOL!

We did end up going to the zoo! LOL! The funny thing is that when we go to the zoo, we go for the walk and not really to sight see because we have an annual pass and have been there about 100 times, so there's nothing new to see. It's not an easy walk, either. There's trails everywhere- up and down hills and .5 miles between the main zoo and the "Wild Africa Safari" that we pretty much always walk, all uphill, in hiking fashion. Plus I was carrying our "snack pack" which weighed about 15 pounds!

Final weigh in this morning is 162.2, which puts me down 9.2 pounds since we started 6 weeks ago! Woohoo! :) Thanks so much for this challenge. It really inspired me to exercise and make sure I log my food. Thank you so much, Amy and everyone else.

I hope everyone has a FABULOUS Labor Day. :)

My final weight is 220.8- I am so happy feel so much better and am ready to take on the next leg of my journey-in my skinny pants!!! My points this week were poor coming in at 23 but I survived no power for six of the seven days so I'll take what I managed to achieve. ( thankfully no power also meant less food-- haha). Wishing everyone luck and success!

    Hi All,

I can't believe we have hit the end of our challenge! I'll have to catch up a bit later as my house is very busy now (and heavens knows us moms aren't allowed to take a bit of time for ourselves!)

    Until later!

    Hugs,

    Amy

    Hello Ladies.

Sorry I was not very supportive during this challenge. Had many ups and downs but finish on a strong note. Currently I am training for a half marathon in mid October and I am confident of reaching my goal weight by September 30.

    CW-179

    Goal Weight 179

Stay positive everyone and continue to move forward.

    Happy Labor Day
