24 Hours of Exercise per Month Challenge - APRIL 2020

Here's the 24 hour challenge thread for APRIL. Let's do it again!! And welcome to any newcomers!

The goal is to accomplish at least 24 hours of exercise during the month.(MORE IS GREAT) Any type of activity that you would log in your exercise diary counts (both cardio and strength training) ~ walking, running, paddling, biking, swimming, gardening, weight training, dancing, HIIT, aerobics, elliptical, rowing, circuit training, stretching, etc. You get the idea.

For you BEASTS out there (you know who you are), if you want to do more, just post your personal goal that is over the baseline challenge goal.

And for anyone who wants to join part of the way through, just post a comparable goal to finish out the month (for example, joining half way through, post a goal of 12 hours).

There is no group for this and no private messages needed. No fancy spreadsheets either, just report your running totals here in the thread.

    Thank you @JDMac82 for keeping this going. THIS thread is what encouraged me to up my monthly exercise hours. I remember working really hard to get near 24 hours early on!

    60 mins Plyo and Abs

    Plyo & Ab Work
    30 Seconds Jog in Place / 30 Seconds Butt Kickers into High Knees
    10 Slow and Controlled Fwd Lunges for each side
    100 Fwd Jump Rope
    Alternating Toe Taps on the Bottom Step of a stair case for 30 seconds
    Lay Jump Rope in a line, Hop side to side across it to the end and back
    100 Fwd Jump Rope
    Lay Jump Rope down in a line again, hop forward and backwards over the rope
    Alternate feet across the rope moving laterally to the end and back to where you started
    100 Fwd Jump Rope
    Place a Book bag down, use a chair to support your upper body, jump side to side over the bag for 30 seconds, or across a bench if you have one
    Alternating Toe taps on the bottom stairs 30 seconds
    100 Jump Rope
    10 Tuck Jumps
    4 Rounds

    40 Mtn Climbers (keep your butt down, don't bounce)
    50 Sit-ups
    60 Second Plank
    40 Rower
    40 Hip Lifts
    30 Wipers

    I fell a little short of my 40 in March. Figuring out how to push myself without the gym has a learning curve. I’m going to try for 40 again.

    Also going to try and get 50,000 steps a week

    Hi everyone! I've been meaning to join this challenge, and I'd like to give it a try in April.

    I currently workout about 1 hour each week day, plus a long run on Saturdays, so I'll set my goal for April for 30 hours.

    April 1: 47 minutes (3 mile run + 10 minutes of glute strength

    I've started German Body Recomp a couple of weeks ago and am on a 7day plan:

    As long as we're allowed to walk/run/bike outside, 30hrs a month should not be a problem (I just checked how much I did in March).
