04/26 …..204.3….. ENDING WEIGHT LAST ROUND Weight was inflated due to travel & Chinese food the day before. Therefore, my hope is to lose a full 2 pounds (or more) this round to be at a 0.1 deficit (or more). If the travel yesterday caused suspected water weight, this, at minimum should be attainable.
04/27 …..203.2 ….. And there goes the water from the Chinese Food two days ago. Now, to work on the weight gain. Goal: 202.3 or less. I worked hard yesterday doing a mix-up of movement and exercise. Very sore knees over the past couple of days due to some of my exercise choices so I’m keeping an eye on that. I pray today will be a strong day. It is Sunny & beautiful today with no rain expected until after 8:00 PM tonight so I plan on taking advantage of that. I will be traveling tomorrow for carpeting about 200 miles away each way. Carpet sales were prohibited until May 1st so I’m getting my butt out there to get the 7 different pieces/sizes that I need. Good luck everyone on this round!

04/27 - 349.0 - Maintained, and even dropped, the previous loss. Now solidly under 350. AND now I've dropped 1/4 of my total projected (I hope) weight loss (161 lbs. to go). I haven't been this low since 2011. And I got in a pretty good kettlebell/TRXRip workout this morning.

@quiltingjaine @deepwoodslady
Here in the UK all but essential shops are closed too and have been for 5 weeks now. So basically only supermarkets, food delivery shops and chemist and pharmacies open. And when you go to any of the shops they only let a certain number of people in to try and keep social distancing rule of not within 2m of anyone so queues outside all the food shops.
Some take outs still open for take out and delivery only but again the queuing 2m apart.
No DIY or clothes shops open either - all shut until further notice ....6 -
Round 112 - April 27 to May 6
Female, 5’, 67 years. SW – 166.2 GW – 165.5 or lower, UGW – 140.
Goals: continue with 12 hr. IF, 5-6 glasses of water a day (I drink lots but it tends to be tea. I limit the black/green to 4 lg. mugs), complete my tracking every day and get some kind of outdoor exercise unless it is raining – in which case indoors. Did not do well on the exercise the last couple of rounds and it shows – a steady creep up.
Missed a lot of days last round – have been getting morning phone calls from kids checking up on us and then get busy with my day. It is great to talk to them though especially when I’m not talking much to anyone else.
Day/Weight/Comment
04/27 – 166.2 – Ate cheese in the evening so no IF. Went shopping Sat. and got some bulk gouda but also lots of fresh veggies so should be a good week. Yesterday didn’t really get any exercise either but planning to work outside today if the rain holds off.

Well day one I went on a 4 mile hike and it was awesome to have that mood lifter and fresh air. In all honesty yesterday was so up and down mood wise I’m hoping being more active helps me find balance. I know I’m not alone in feeling like this right now with all that’s going on in the world but I honestly think that makes it worse. Weight of the world on my shoulders nonsense and such. I hope today is a good one and luckily it is sunny and getting in a run tonight won’t be a problem. It’s the little positives we have to look for.10 -

quiltingjaine wrote: »@deepwoodslady Donna, WHY have carpet and paint sales been banned in Michigan? It doesn’t make any sense to me!
@quiltingjaine You are absolutely right that it made NO SENSE whatsoever. It took a huge march on the state's capital and multiple lawsuits before the Governor relented on JUST A FEW of the guidelines. The idea is that getting paint mixed or getting carpet cut in the big box stores (like walmart, home depot, lowe's, menards etc) would create a situation where you would have to interact with an employee. Silly, because if you need help in an aisle choosing a faucet etc, you could flag down an employee (like usual) and get help anyway. Also, you could order online and then pick up the carpet and have someone load it in your truck for you! One person in my own community was ticketed 1000.00 for buying a bag of mulch! I'm sure they will fight that ticket now.
Another silly rule: You can fish in a boat, but not one with a motor. Also, if you owned a vacation cabin you could not travel to your other property for any reason. After multiple lawsuits in the past week to address whether people will still have to pay property taxes on land they can't step foot on, sportsman lawsuits about the boating issue etc. our Governor has relented and relaxed it a tiny bit (she has not admitted it is because of the lawsuits). However, she has extended the stay-at-home orders until at least May 15th now and everyone is required to wear the masks if they are indoors in ANY public place (no longer just a suggestion). They have just voted to eliminate the Governor's rights to post orders during emergency situations (she can no longer govern this if passed). Michigan is a mess right now.
My personal business has really suffered as all travel banned unless you are going to your own vacation home or you are traveling in the capacity of essential business as deemed by the mandate. However, carpeting is still VERY NEEDED for my cabins & rooms (which have been deemed essential). It has definitely been tough to be open but not be able to get essential items to operate (including toilet paper!) I can't wait for this to all be over! It's not just a health issue anymore. Obviously I want everyone to stay healthy and stay smart to protect themselves and others. It really has become quite political too. Now I am seeing on the news that foreign countries are hacking into U.S. (and perhaps other countries too) scientific intelligence and databases. We are all desperate for the cure, the vaccine or the best treatment options. But whoever comes up with that vaccine first will make billions and the whole world will be at their feet! It's a sad thing.
Sorry for the rant. I am just glad that we will be able to mow our lawn (I think). Ticks can be bad where I am at if property is not kept up. However, just because they opened up the landscaping companies and the nursery's doesn't mean homeowners are allowed to plant or keep up their own yards. It may just be to provide service and/or inventory to essential businesses. The idea, of course, when they closed all the nurseries and garden centers in the big box stores is that you would have to stay inside and not work in your yard. Yet I can go running or biking whenever I want OUTSIDE of my yard, even in PUBLIC parks, all of which have remained open here. I'll have to look into whether we can keep up our yards now...... Uggg so frustrating. However, my prayers are still with the human race, the pets, the wildlife and all of our futures. That remains most important.

70 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
We used to walk 5 miles a day. A pinched nerve and back surgery side-lined me for about a year. Then I had back surgery. Then I had hip surgery March 10th. Recovery is slow. Sure do want to be back walking!
The Shelter in Place has everyone freaked. We need to remain calm and respectful of each other.

04/27- So, today I decided to restart my weight loss journey after seeing barely any results from just working out. I recently got a fitness tracker from Amazon. In my previous fitness journey, I would only lose 2-3 pounds a week. I always wondered why the number was so low, since I worked out so “hard”. I decided to do one of my go to workouts, Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred. After 30 minutes, I only burned 82 calories. 82 calories 😩, after I was dripping in sweat. That’s not even enough to burn off the 140 snack pack of Cheeze-It’s I had. I burned more calories working out around the house (89). After I ate dinner, I only burned 171 calories and decided to do a Healthy Heart 1 Mile Walk by Leslie Sansone and ended up burning 118.3 calories in 15 minutes! I was shocked! Lesson for today: Weight loss is all about your diet! I’m challenging myself to be consistent with tracking my calories and getting my diet in control.

Round 112 Goal: Try not to focus on the fact I'm playing catch-up after going totally off track for 3 to 4 weeks and gaining back 7.2 pounds (180.6). To stay motivated, I need to celebrate the fact I stopped the downward spiral, and be happy with each pound I lose even if it's the second time around. AND quit obsessing over the fact I gained 7 pounds back and just get on with it

It’s the little positives we have to look for.
Write your anxieties down, share it with us, I find it does help and also to realise that others are in the same boat, I felt really down last night as all my neighbours over the last 2 days have had their families visit! It seems it is only us sticking to the rules & we are missing our children & especially little grandchildren so so much !!! Hugs to you xx6 -
Start weight... October 2017: 107kg
Goal weight... October 2017: 75kg
Previous rounds in spoiler, started on R110R110 EW - 81kg
R111 EW - 79.4kg
I have been meaning to lose the last few KG to get down to my 75kg goal. Now nothing is open I thought this would be the perfect time to get there. I have been sitting around my current weight since August 2018 so I am comfortable with my maintenance lifestyle but always had that end goal in the back of my mind that I set in October 2017!
R112 GW - 78.7kg
27/04 - 78.7kg - Rest day - 2000 calories - 6 miles walked - 600 calorie deficit
28/04 - 79.2kg - Just finished my 45 minute cardio kickboxing workout, its meant to rain for a week straight so might not be doing my daily walk for a fair amount of time!Forget about the number of the scale day to day, if you keep up the good habits and stay honest with yourself that number in 10 days time will be further from where you started and closer to where you want to be!
If you ever feel down and head to the snack draw to get something sweet or something you don't need to eat. Think about the real reason you started this journey in the first place, because when I think about mine it instantly gives me that 'it's not worth it feeling' and I grab a piece of fruit or have a coffee!7 -
Good morning,
Random question but do you ladies have any morning healthy habits?
I actually do, i drink a glass or two of warm lemon water before anything else, but feel like i would like to try something else too!
04/27 - 134kg
04/28 - 133.9 kg
Feels like i dropped more than just that, but that will do for now. Its miserable here today, but rain or shine, i set myself a walking challenge daily, so im off. Also, since its cold and all i want i nice warm hearty food, i will stick to proteins and fresh veg.

Thank you @GrandmaJackie
I live in the UK - aged 48 - with hubby and two daughters age 12 and 17 - other 4 (step) kids all grown up and left home and we also have 6 grandkids (aged between 1 and 7). Came back to this in round 110
R110 - Start weight 155.0lb End weight 152.3lb Round Loss 2.7lb
R111 - Start weight 152.3lb End Weight 146.8lb Round loss 5.5lb
Round goal - keep tracking, keep losing and get out for my 10k steps walk in the evenings (working from home at the minute so desk bound most of the day) and keep active at the weekends with doing stuff round the house. Had a big loss last round - so hoping to stabilise a bit this round and finish in the 145's so a loss of around 1.5lb would be good
04/27 - 148.4lb (+1.6lb) Yesterday's weight was a very unexpected loss showing a loss on 1.8lb which came out of nowhere. I also had a full on day yesterday with a lot of heavy gardening, a "Bring Your Parent to Cheer" hour long Zoom training session and a Sunday roast with homemade by my daughters apple crumble (albeit it all within calories but still more food than I would normally eat in the evening!
Today's weigh in still means I've lost over the weekend so still happy
And wow was the cheer session tough! I was ok with the warm-up part as regularly have PT Sessions at the gym, but the stunting part was tough!!! As for tumble - I couldn't do a cartwheel at 15 so no chance at 50!!! Although did manage the forward rolls and a sort of handstand! :
And we were only doing level 1 stuff! My kids are level 4 and level 6 - those girls are strong!!!
04/28 - 146.9lb (-1.5lb) Back down again so maybe Sunday wasn't a fluke and I can blame yesterday on our lovely Sunday roast! Hubby likely to be home late tonight or tomorrow having been away for 5 weeks so we are likely to have date night when he gets home (with an M&S Dine in for two meal) but he's fed up with the food he's managed to get while away (no restaurants open obviously, so been living on take out deliveries and a very limited room service menu) and desperate for healthy colourful food and veggies so not a problem when he gets home to stick with what I'm doing.
Onwards and downwards towards 145
