    Youre doing great Shy!!! I weigh in today at 137. Lost .6 of a pound. :) I havnt lost ANY inches in the last 3 weeks though! :( Whats up with that? lol I measure everything but my thighs but I dont want my thighs to get smaller!

    Hello Ladies!

    My thesis is finished so I can get back on track now. Going to start with some exercise over the next couple of days and then back on the diet proper from next week - although as a snack while I work that should stop now.

    Will weigh in tomorrow to check out the damage... Think I am going to be heavier than when we all started so I will have some work to do!

    Hi, just a quick one from me this week to update weight. I'm not feeling the best, sore throat and headache and I have a little boy who is feeling the same as me so a lot of lying around watching tv today for us I think, hopefully we will all be feeling better tomorrow!!

    I weight in at 138.8 this week :smile: coming down slowly.

    I'm back and feeling fat :sad: (it's amazing how much conditioning you lose after just a couple of weeks of laziness and snacking!). I knew it was bad because I couldn't get my size 14 jeans on and I have had to unpack some of my 'fat' / post pregnancy clothes :cry: . This will not do at all.

    So I have reworked my goals to something that is realistic and I am back on the wagon as of Thursday (last day of my degree tomorrow with no time for exercise and lots of eating out)

    I will be restarting 30DS and I have a feeling its going to as tough as it was first day I tried it!! Also planning a long walk as long as the rain isn't torrential!

    New goals are:

    Target Date
    17-Oct 1st Milestone: Less than 135lbs

    31-Oct 2nd Milestone: Waist under 30 inches

    14-Nov 3rd Milestone: Less than 130lbs

    28-Nov 4th Milestone: Hips under 40 inches

    12-Dec 5th Milestone: Under 9st (thats less than 126lbs)

    23-Jan 6th Milestone: Fat Ratio under 30% (never been under 30 in the four years I've owned the body fat monitor!)

    06-Feb 7th Milestone: Reached GOAL WEIGHT AND SIZE (being 119lbs and 198.5 inches in total)

    If I do make my goal by 6th Feb I think I will be planning a nice weekend away with my husband for Valentines :tongue:

    And I am going to really be pushing it over the next couple of weeks as I have a big get together with my old college friends on 24th Sept.

    After 7 weeks, we have a solid number of moms checking in.

    Did any of you realize that we crossed the quarter mark on August 29th? We are more than 25% through this challenge!! The time is flying fast! In order to reach our goal weights, we need to remember that EVERY DAY counts. Right now, there are 115 days left in this challenge. Let’s keep moving and losing!

    Next week, on our 8-week mark, I’ll run another individual assessment to see how many members are on track to reach their December 31st goal weights.

    Hello hot mamas!! I'm back from my vacation, and it was wonderful. My kids got to see all their first cousins, my husband and I celebrated our tenth wedding anniversary, and it was just a fabulous time. Unfortunately, I gained almost 5 lbs back. I was a little over 135 lbs when we left, and I'm at about 140 now.

    I'll be back to my regular routine tomorrow, and will just start pushing again! I plan to be 139 or less for weigh ins on Monday.

    Apologies ladies but have just been for a fabulous pig out dinner with my husband for our anniversary and I have eaten more than twice the calories I was supposed to, even with the exercise.

    Will bust my rear to get some extra calories burnt over the weekend and hope for a miracle for Monday's weigh in.

    (I love being part of the group - I feel responsible for not just letting myself down, but also the group so it keeps me focused and at the end of the day if I want to be 119lbs then I am going to have to take some responsibility and shift this excess, no one else can do it for me)

    oh and p.s. I am have now done 2 days of 30 DS and my quads hurt, but not as much as first time I tried it!!

    So much for busting my rear to do more exercise, DH has hurt his back (again!) so I didn't get any free time. Was reasonably careful with my big sunday roast today, then went and ate another piece of my sons birthday cake (only one small piece left TG!). Only 134 cals over so should be able to work on that tomorrow.

    Not looking forward to the weigh in tomorrow, will be lucky to sts.

    Its a miracle, I've lost weight - today at 143.75lbs.

    As its sunny I'm off out for a walk (although its very windy so will probably have a very interesting hairstyle by the time I get back!!)

    Back to 30DS tomorrow. Need to build some muscle and most of all lose some inches!!

    How is everyone else doing? Anyone up for a mini challenge?

    Good morning ladies. Today I weigh in at 131.8 SOOO Close to goal!
    We found out a week ago that we have to move, so I am house hunting and packing like crazy. I strongly dislike moving and am hoping we find something we like soon. We are trying to be out and moved by Oct 1.

    I have a feeling the next 20/30 days are going are going to be rough. I'm coming off my medication (the one that has the horrible side effect of craving carbs). While that is a great thing, both because I don't need it any more and also because once I am off no more side effects (last time this happened I dropped 10 lbs in 4 weeks!), this is also a bad thing as the side effects are much worse on a lower dose and I have to come off gradually by reducing the dose. So far 3 days on a lower dose and already the munchies from about 2pm are terrible.

    I had to cut my walk short today because of the wind - it was getting dangerous out there. My neighbours fence has come down and big bits of branch were falling out of the trees.

    Tomorrow I am hoping I can get myself out for a walk or do something that can distract me from eating. With these side effects I don't dare go into town - too much temptation.

    Holy crap. Did we just collectively lose only 5.9 lbs this week?! 39 members weighing in, and only 5.9 lbs?! Time for a progress report!!

    Below, you will find our latest progress chart. I’ve calculated everyone’s “% to GW.” As of today, if you want to reach your goal weight, you will need to have a 34% or higher. To make it even more fun, I calculated your estimated weight loss by 12/31 and also your estimated weight on 12/31. These calculations are based on your total weight loss for the past 8 weeks, and I think you’ll find them very interesting.

    :ohwell: [SIGH]...I’m still in the white group. But I’m SO CLOSE to getting in the yellow group! I’m tempted to change my 12/31 goal weight, but according to my favorite iPod app, “Target WEIGHT for Adults,” if I continue to lose weight at the same rate I lost for the past 2 weeks, I will reach by goal weight by 12/18/2011. There’s still hope for me! So….my GW stays the same for now. I’ll see what the next 4-week progress report says.

    FYI - The next progress report will be posted the week of October 10, just DAYS after our half-way mark. It’s time to kick our weight loss in to high gear!

    Evening ladies - what a rollercoaster week... calories have been up and down, exercised a little too hard on Wednesday and still sore today. Will have to see how things turn out on Monday.

    I think next week I need a little more calm and moderation!

    Last week was a hard week,I worked a lot and it was my TOM. I didn't have much energy at all,but was able to manage to get my workouts in.

    I lost 2.8 lbs,I'm thinking that my monthly visitor kinda put a damper on my weigh in last week...so that's why I saw such a big loss for this weeks weigh in. I hope I made sense!lol!

    Don't forget to weigh in ladies and let us know how you're doing!

    Still here but struggling with my medication's stupid side effects. Weighed in at 144.25 lbs but could have been so much worse, couple of good days but several really bad days. Only 22 days left on meds. I really wish I could just manage to lose a little in the next few weeks...

    My sister (who's a Vet) told me that she uses the same meds I'm on as an appetite stimulant in dogs - well isn't that just great! :noway: This damn med has been responsible so far for me gaining back all the 20lbs I lost last year and some so I now have over 25lbs to lose. Oh well, 22 days and counting - I am hoping for a miracle after that though, like a consistent 1.5 - 2lb lose a week til Christmas!!

    Getting in under the wire today!! My weigh in weight is 138.6.

    Since my vacation travels, I've really fallen off the wagon -- haven't been eating right, not working out, back to drinking sweet tea several times a day... and I feel tired and sluggish and irritable. I need to get serious about fitness again, because it is about so much more than getting in smaller jeans. I love the way I feel when I'm active and feeding my body right. I just need to get over this slump!

    I'm committing to logging again, and I know that will make a big difference in my motivation - that means I'll be more actively participating here, and hopefully anyone else who's fallen by the wayside will jump back in too! :drinker:

    Struggling to eat right, the cravings are driving me mad... only 21 days left on my med so I am hoping a couple of days after that the cravings will go away too.

    Decided that even if I can't get the food right I will get back to exercising right - no excuse to not be doing that at least. And I do tend to eat better quality on days I exercise.

    That's right, Sara -- do what you can! You can't control whether or not you get cravings on the meds, but you can control whether or not you work out. Keep thinking positive! You got this.

    Hello Ladies!!

    I am please to report having weighed in this morning that I have lost a little weight!! It feels so good to have achieved this given the meds and all and it's really motivated me to keep doing anything I can, and that every little bit counts.

    On the down side, having got up in the night to my son more times than I can remember, on one occasion I slipped down the last couple of stairs and caught my heel on the bottom bar of the stairgate. I now have all sorts of aches and pains in my foot, ankle and knee so while I don't think I have done anything serious I think I will be avoiding the high impact exercise for a couple of days.

    On the up side, it's gloriously sunny outside so I'm going for a long walk up and down a couple of hills :happy:

    Can't really afford to but I'm going into town to treat myself to a new pair of trainers / running shoes.
