    Round 116
    Month/Day: Weight / Comment

06/06: 213.8 / I always weigh myself in the morning. Not bad for a Saturday morning. I have been known to have my discipline-wheels fall off on a Friday night. In fact, weekends in general are a problem for me.
    06/07: 214.4
06/08: 214.8 / pretty minimal damage from the weekend. I just find it a lot easier to stick to the program during the work week. I was very active on Saturday and Sunday.
06/09: 215.4 / Not a bit surprising after yesterday’s office lunch at the Mexican Restaurant. We have not been able to go out for our weekly project management lunch meeting until now. So…. I may have had too much ‘chips and salsa,’ and my Pork Tenderloin Burrito with rice and beans on the side may have been high in fat and sodium. I thought my calorie goals were met for the day, so I supposed salt was the culprit, (Then I remembered my un-logged peanut butter pretzels.) This is why I am here. The examined life is a better life.
    06/10: 213.2 / woot!
    06/11: 213.2
    06/12: 213.2
06/13: 211.0 / yesterday was a day where I was so busy working toward a deadline, then fishing til dark, that I didn’t have time to think about eating. First part of the day burning calories above the neck, second part below the neck. Ha! Tells me something. When I am bored, I eat. I need to get out on the Kraken (boat nick name) more often. I may want to exceed my calorie intake today so my body doesn’t go into famine mode.
06/14: 213.8 / an expected correction, especially after the salt fat and calorie intake yesterday. Yesterday’s weight was an anomaly. Doing better today, but I don’t expect to get back to 211 tomorrow.
06/15: 214.4 / Brutal weekend But a good round, considering there were two weekends in this round. Ended up with a 213.7 average. Almost 2 pounds less than last round’s average.

    6/05: 225.9 (+0.5) -- end of round 115
6/06: 226.2 -- Since I reallly don't feel like cooking (or going to market), already know its a snacking kinda day. I'll have to be careful and creative!
6/07: 224.0 -- Although stayed within calorie range, was neither careful nor creative yesterday, lol - BUTTT ... had my grandbaby all day, watched a bunch of old movies AND slept 9 hours! Could this be proof R&R and the occasional cheat day actually does the body good? We'll see ...
    6/08: 223.3 -- hit record # of steps since I started counting a month ago ... (11,627)
Weather is supposed to be gorgeous here. Definitely looking forward to getting some sun this week! Hope you all meet your goals and find some serenity in the madness we're living in. Peace & blessings friends.
6/09: 222.0 -- started exercise coaching app today; hoping it'll be a new way to stay motivated.
6/10: DNW -- woke to family crisis and forgot; high stress day personally and professionally w/ limited movement.
6/11: 223.6 -- emotions and energy still very low; going to have to dig deep to get through the day
6/12: 222.7 -- lawd it was hard reaching 10,000 steps yesterday. Was dragging one leg @ a time over the finish line, but I did it! Hope to keep it going and gain some momentum over the weekend.
6/13: 220.9 -- had some questionable dietary choices (but stayed within macros) so happy to see! 20 minutes of weight training and 8,118 steps yesterday FELT like 15,000!! A good day to go lay under a tree. Make it a great day peeps.
6/14: 220.4 -- yesssss! a stellar 8K day with lots of sun, stretching and easy movement ... perfectly peaceful

6/15: 222.1 -- first upward tick in a few days, but no worries ... -3.3 for the round

Met step goals 7 of 10/ strength training 3 of 10/ but not much meal prep and only woosah'd about 40% -- will just keep trying

I feel like such a huge FAILURE right now.
I have gained 17 pounds since February! And more than that since I lost so much using MFP starting in 2016.
    Current weight: 171.6
    Goal weight: 140-145
I need to stop the mindless eating! This Stay at Home order really got to me.

@kblanc14 - whoo! roast radishes! Never thought of roasting those, only ever had them raw in salads, let me know how they taste. I fancy trying them myself.

The roasted radishes were so good! I cut them into quarters and tossed them in olive oil, salt, and pepper, cooked them at 450 F for about 20-30 minutes checking them and flipping them every so often until golden brown. They caramelize and mellow out really nicely. They lose their peppery bite and transform in flavor. They definitely shrink down a bit so if you like radishes cook more than you think. Let me know if you try them!

    I ’m in my 50’s
    OSW-187 Sept. 2018

Goal Weight this Round: Stay in 140’s
Drink plenty of water, keep organizing.Walk

6/6-149 Walked 7 miles. It’s been cooler and breezy!
6/7-152-No walk, worked around the house with DH, then brought the rest of my clothes here AFTER I reinforced my closet rod. I prepped for lunch at my in-laws today, including pie and bread. We take it to their house and sit out in the backyard and eat and visit. They are 77 & 90 and don’t go anywhere. I may not even weigh tomorrow. Have a wonderful Sunday!🌸
6/8-150-I really don’t deserve this; I ate some of everything and then came home and had beer and garlic bread for dinner.
6/9-Windy, appointments and not much of a walk. Today will be better.....I can just feel it!!!🙂
6/10-151-Had to get a mammogram yesterday, so I treated myself to hamburger and fries but didn’t get king sized and had iced tea. Continued to drink water and did a smaller walk. I’m hoping for a bike ride this morning before it’s hot!
6/11-149-Rode the bike 11 miles and ate light. Walking today and it’s going to be hot.
6/12-151- Walked 10 miles. Lots of running around to do today and getting a hair cut. Hoping for a bike ride.
6/13-150-Walked 4 miles, super windy. We are heading to get the rest of the items from storage. Long day.....
6/14-DNW-Fast food and long hours in car.
6/15-151- Made the last trip to empty storage but brought healthy food to eat. Now to empty the boxes.

    Day/Weight/Comment

    6/06 - 184
I’m taking a round of cephalexin and feel puffy. Water retention isn’t listed as a side effect, but something is causing this. Phooey. Anyway, I’m off for a walk on the rivergreenway and have an afternoon of garden work planned. One of these days I’ll have a breakthrough. I’m a bit depressed and disgusted with myself about this and the news. Maybe the river and trees will help. Have a good Saturday.

    6/07 - 185
Seriously waterlogged. Calories were fine, though, so I know it’s just water. It’s a gorgeous day here so I’m off to walk along the river again. Increasing daily distance to get back to my old 5-10 miles/day.

    6/08 - 183.2
Okay, finished the antibiotics and I feel less bloated. All good.

    6/09 - 183.2
Calories low yesterday. I baked a cake and brownies to give away and didn’t sample at all — yay me! It’s supposed to get hot this afternoon, so I’m off for a walk on the rivergreenway and then picking up mulch to finish my new beds. Also plotting another....Left to my own devices, the whole backyard would be flower and herb beds with a few veggies here and there.
    🌻🌸🌼

    6/10 - 183
Not a great number but at least it’s moving in the right direction. I’m going for a walk and then hope to spend the rest of the day in the garden, moving a few things, planting the last few, yanking a couple....So good for the spirit.

    6/11 - 181.8
Finally, some progress! We have a very low-calorie day planned — DH brought home shrimp. Yum! Off for a walk, then lots of weeding and dead-heading. I might even do a little writing (my actual work!). Have a lovely day, all!

    6/12 - 182.6
Oops. I confess, I had salty popcorn and a little ice cream last night, calories over goal. Back on track today.

    6/13 - 182
I’m a little surprised as I had a glass of wine and some dark chocolate last night, but I also spent about 3 hours weeding and digging grass out along the edges of my gardens, so maybe it evened out. It’s cooled way off today, but not raining, so I’m off for a walk. Have a lovely Saturday, all.

    6/14 - 182
Expected a rise because I went a bit overboard (again) yesterday. Still could happen tomorrow, but I’ll take this for now. Staying away from snacks is obviously still a work in progress, but today is a new day. I’m going to build a trellis this morning to brighten up a corner of the garden that’s a bit dark and shady.

    6/15 - 181.2
Okay, down from the start of the round. I haven’t gotten my calorie average down where I want it, but it’s not too bad. It’s gorgeous here today, so I’m planning to write in my garden for a while, then paint my new trellis, then go walking in one of our lovely parks or the greenway. Maybe hit my favorite nursery one more time. Not a bad vice! I really want to start a new cutting garden on the side of the house but may need to wait on that one. See you next round!

My goals for the round -- lose 2 pounds; continue to log food and post every day; focus on snacking control at night. Also, continue to log steps -- I decided on May 18 to walk a million steps before the end of July (70 days.) I am currently a full day off the pace due to a minor foot injury 10 days ago.

    HW 252.... It was ugly
    Round 100 SW 245 EW 248
    Rounds 101-111 in denial
    Round 112 SW 242 (4/27/20)
    Round 113 SW 238.6
    Round 114 SW 235.2
    Round 115 SW 231.8
    Round 116 SW 229.4
    GW: 199

06/06 229.4; steps 8264, fell asleep sitting up on the sofa instead of taking a walk. I think we were watching the Great British Baking Show when I crashed. It's always about food with me! Anyway, will try to start making up the lost steps this week. Foot hasn't healed which is a potential problem for a diabetic but it is slowly moving in the right direction. I am looking forward to this round, hope to leave the 230s far in the rear view mirror this month.

    06/07 - 6/10 out of town / funeral / road food / relatives' food

06/11 I'm back you lucky devils! Weight 228.4. Not sure how that happened because there hasn't been a healthy meal in days. Let's see what I can salvage of my momentum. Enjoy the day!

06/12 228.6. Blood sugar fine, food was under target, steps were okay (12792) so this is acceptable for the first day back. Looking forward to the weekend -- We need a break, even though it has been a short work week for me!

    06/13 This space for rent

06/14 229.8. Not my best day yesterday or my best round, to be honest. While real life issues have given me legit reasons to want to embrace apathy, I am not going to give in to the impulse. I'll do better. No need for to click the hug button here, I'm going to gut through this. (They really need to add a button to click here that says "Kick him in the *kitten*")

06/15 229.6. Good exercise, stayed within calories. This round has been a wake up call. Consider me wide awake for the next round. grrrrr! I hope to see everyone there.
