Congratulations! And what a lovely dress!

Just restarting losing weight.
I am tipping the scales at 353lbs and it would be nice to get that first 4lb out of the way to put me below 350lb.
My ultimate goal is rather more ambitious....to lose 128lbs13 -

Thank you. I've lost a total of 35lb since January and dropped 3 dress sizes. I just need to learn to keep the weight off now....always a bigger challenge than losing it for me!6 -

Oh yes, I really understand where you are coming from! There is a great threat on the forum offering inspiration for those who lost and gained again and are now losing again. There are a lot of us around.

I have lost and gained weight over the last 12 years, and gain it back from repeating the same habits. Compulsive eating and over eating (eating TERRIBLE FOOD)..not working out. I have finally come to that point where I want to spend the rest of my life in shape and stop the slacking. I'd like to be around 170-160 ( at 5ft 11 in) currently at 211 starting from 226. I had gained about 30 in a year...that woke me up. It's time to get serious. If I can quit smoking cold turkey, then I can get into shape AGAIN and stay there. I will be stoked just to get out of the 200s.7

Leah ~ you've got it! Just do what you know to do everyday. I got under 230 last month - now I'm trying to get under 220 this month... it'll be the first time I've been under 220 in many many years.
Good luck and got kick some butt.4 -

Hey brother - here to you hitting UNDER 350 soon! Looks like your on the right path being here. Break that big goal (of losing 128lbs) into mini-goals (such as those first 4lbs).
If you want it bad enough ~ you'll be strong enough to get it.

You got this! That's where I was when I started. I was 350 lbs and currently 212 lbs so just shy of 140 lbs lost. Next goal is to get out of the 200's and final goal is maybe 185. Feel free to add me if you'd like5 -

Today I weighed in at 167.6, BMI of 24.9. I am so happy and motivated to keep going. And I have the holiday weekend to do my closet cleanout! I know that sounds sad but I'm trying to make the most of a stay at home July 4th.
My next goal is to have lost 10% of my body weight, which will come at 166.1.
165.9! Although my brain is struggling to see it I have lost 10% of my body weight! Next mini-goal is to reach 75% of the way to ultimate goal weight. That'll be at 164.8. All the best to everyone working towards your goals, it's awesome ❤️6 -
I'm working on losing 5 pounds this month--almost half way there5

I have a pair of shorts hanging on the outside of my closet that I keep trying on and continue to do so until they fit the way I want them too. I'm within 50 lbs of my end goal!8

You'll get there. It's like they never fit....and then one day they do! I have this with a pair of old jeans. I try them on every two weeks

I've held at 210 all week and now my new mini-goal will be 208. Baby steps for me; I'm new to remembering I have a mini goal, and keeping it reasonable for me means something I won't forget while waiting to get there I can't remember where any of my bruises come from, either, but that's been true since I had my first child3
