i think you will find that it is not so bad. some things are easier. others get harder. generally life gets more interesting and the pleasures i get from ordinary, every day life increases as the birthdays go by.
and if a birthday just brought you over the line... hope it was fun.1 -

My espresso machine arrived, having ordered it in May! I ground too course for the first shot with it, which was way too weak as a result. I accidentally nailed it with the second shot - a 30 second brew time got a ratio of 2:1 (liquid out: coffee in), which was exactly what I was aiming at. It was really nice.

So..last night wasn't too bad, sun went down and temps dropped to 95. Put 40 minutes in, knocked soome good intervals and was able to do it again this morning around 0430. Didn't get eaten by Tiger in my dreams last night1 -

Will this heat wave ever break? You'd think the kid afternoon thunderstorm would have helped. Ugh
I got to visit mom again, I'll need another covid test next week my current one runs out in a week. Another 60 minute workout too! Are knees supposed to make popping noises?2 -

Hey, I'm baaaack. I did MyFitnessPal years ago and it worked really well. I have gained some weight back due to recent health issues and I've found counting calories is the easiest way for me to lose weight, especially when I'm unable to workout right now. (I'm recovering from surgery) MyFitnessPal is the best calorie counting app out there (even tho their premium services used to be free back in the day, SIGH to greediness) Anyways, Good luck everyone and take care, Gen X rules! ✌️💚3

Great morning all. Az heat is a dry heat... was in Tucson for 3 years... and now.... I'm in a humid heat of central Alabama.... the humidity seems to suck every bit of energy out of me.
