What Mini Goal is motivating you right now!

I had a kid a year ago, and I'm just seriously starting to try and lose the lbs.
I've got a couple of mini goals- Lose 10 lbs (2.6 lbs to go!)
- Get back to Onederland (about 15 lbs to go)
I missed this thread...such a good source of motivation!10 -
I am pretty motivated right now since I am 1.4 lbs to be below 170. Have not been below 170 for years.18

I dunno. I lost 61 pounds here in '12 and didn't do maintenance so I gained 33 of them back. Just decided I didn't like the way I was looking so it was time to get rid of them. I've lost 16 of them so far. Definitely doing maintenance this time!16

I hit my last mini goal this morning, to get under 200. 199.8 but it still counts! My next goal is 174. It would be the first time in my adult life I would be just "overweight" and I think I can do it by the end of October if I stay the course.14

I have 1.75 lbs to reach a 25% loss of my starting weight. It seems like I've been within 5 lbs for WEEKS.10

I want to be at 215 by august 15th (my almost 8yr olds birthday). I’m at 227 right now but if I can get there I’m going to eat pizza and cake and not beat myself up about it. I’m not going to gorge on it or anything but still. Also I really really just want to get back under 2006

I see it, it's right behind you. ;-)3 -

I'm a numbers type of person too. Right now I was to get under 220 by Aug 1st. It'll be the first time in years. You got this I've got this!!!2 -

- track EVERYTHING I eat EVERY day and building the habit to do that daily.
- Weighing myself only once a week.
- Working out 6 days a week for 45 minutes - no matter how hot it is (No excuses!)
- Drinking more water and less coffee - though I have NO Idea how that's going to work once school starts!
- Lose 10 lbs by August 21st
I just want to meet my goals this time. I am tired of starting over again and again and again. It has to work this time, because I honestly have no other alternative.
Great plan girl - I believe you'll make it!!! #sayYestocoffee lol

Good for you brother. Get back on it. I am wanting to keep dropping.... down 10, with 20 more to go.flmnbently wrote: »I hit my last mini goal this morning, to get under 200. 199.8 but it still counts! My next goal is 174. YEAH and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! SO very proud of you... and yes it DOES count. I want to get under 220 by August 1st. It'll be the first time in many many years.caitlinbrianne0817 wrote: »I want to be at 215 by august 15th (my almost 8yr olds birthday). Well... let's get busy girl. If you want it, you'll get it. Don't beat yourself up, just stand back up, dust yourself off and get back at it. My struggle was to overcome late night sweets (ice cream, cookies, brownies etc) I've been able to stop them... the first 4 days were the worst. But Caitlin, you CAN do it ~ I believe that you can.

My mini goal is to be closer to 200 than 300. As of this morning, I was 260.8.27

I had a partial knee replacement that is not healing correctly, two bulging discs, and spinal stenosis. I am hoping a 40 pound drop will delay the need for surgery. My friends and I did a "February Challenge," before lockdown helping me drop the first 6, yet I have stuck with it helping me to stay the course.14

Good luck and do what it takes Pogo ~ and you CAN do it!2 -
My next mini goal is reaching the 220’s. I was 236 at my last weigh in so I’m not too far away. Feels like very obtainable goal.8
-
My current mini goal is to lose 9 more pounds!! That would put me at 50 pounds lost (so far) and would hopefully also put me another size down in clothes. I am stuck in a plateau right now, so it may take a little time to happen.8
-
Mini goal is to hit 145lb which is my first goal weight. From there I need to figure out how much lower to go.6
-
I'm going to lose about 8 kg in the next few weeks or maybe a couple of months... Feel free to join my very empty friend list to help motivate me...6

Good for you! I can't believe the difference I feel in my knees, ankles, and back since losing 60 lbs. I know it's tough to exercise and lose weight while you're having joint pain, so kudos to you!7 -
mini mini goal log all food today July 21
mini goal under 225 (this morning I was 227.6), so just over 1% by August 16 -
165.9! Although my brain is struggling to see it I have lost 10% of my body weight! Next mini-goal is to reach 75% of the way to ultimate goal weight. That'll be at 164.8. All the best to everyone working towards your goals, it's awesome ❤️
Weighed in this morning at 163.9 so I have passed my threequarters-of-the-way mini goal. YAY. My spreadsheet tells me I've also passed the 20lb milestone! My next goal is to crack 10kgs lost (at 73.9kg/162.6lb) which is also my next Happy Scale increment. Chugging along 🚂13 -
My next Happy Scale milestone is 1.8 pounds away! I split all the weight I want to lose into 20 milestones.10

It's still mathematically possible to break through 100# lost by Labor Day & I'm working hard for it. It's more likely that I'll get to 100# later in September, but I'm pushing for Labor Day!12

Very nice 👍 but be careful that you do in healthfully.0 -
To lose .6 to get to 217. Was 217.6 this morning. Why 217? That gets me to a total loss of 150 lbs since Jan 2016. 150 lb loss is a huge accomplishment and it’s exciting and I’m gonna Def toot my horn about it.33

Looks like you're on track! Way to go, ... keep going.
Thanks.. Im doing my best weighed in today at 192.6
So happy that i have been sticking to it this time. I used mfp years ago and lost 60lbs. However after a divorce a new marriage and 2 more kids i added the weight right back. Lol but glad im staying motivated this time..6 -
I've broken through the barrier of 260, and now I have two goals: Losing three more pounds (256) will put me at 40 pounds lost. And, of course, 250 is a nice round number.12

Glad you're back on it. I know divorce is a huge deal breaker on doing healthy and right things. Sorry you had to go through that... but it sounds like you're doing better... at least I hope that you are.

I lost 20lbs officially today! That was a HUGE goal for me! I have about 20 more to lose! My mini goal to keep me motivated was to fit into my size 10 jeans, which I now do! My next goal is to get down to 158 (out of obese category). I'm currently 164lbs.22
