At the moment, my mini-goals are number goals. I am going 5 lbs. at a time, so I love to see the number that brings me down to the lower 10 lb. range. I am 0.9 away from it now!7

Right now, my goal is to:
- track EVERYTHING I eat EVERY day and building the habit to do that daily.
- Weighing myself only once a week.
- Working out 6 days a week for 45 minutes - no matter how hot it is (No excuses!)
- Drinking more water and less coffee - though I have NO Idea how that's going to work once school starts!
- Lose 10 lbs by August 21st
I just want to meet my goals this time. I am tired of starting over again and again and again. It has to work this time, because I honestly have no other alternative.7 -

1. I want to be at about 62 lbs lost (I've lost 57 lbs so far). My son (who is 8) weighs about that much. He'll think it's amazing that I've lost as much as he weighs and it's a great visual for me.
2. I had set mini goals of 10% weight loss (instead of focusing on the big number). I'm currently working on my 3rd 10% goal. I have about 8 lbs to go for that one
This is a fantastic idea! I often get caught up on the big number, when I really should be focusing on smaller increments like 10% of the goal. Thank you for the idea, and best of luck to you!4 -

In size 8s and medium tops, even in unforgiving materials. Woo! Bday is in a couple of weeks and I'm 10lb to goal so that's a victory to me. I'm sure I'll benefit from going lower still but I'll cross that road later11 -

I'm at 207 and my focus right now is also getting under 200. We can do it !!7 -

Between now and onderland, to get into us sz. 14. I'm really close. 16's are starting to fall of. I can take them off without unbuttoning them...
Love that you have such amazing rewards for yourself. I'm going to start doing that as well. I have 8 pds to hit the one hundreds and I'm definitely going to celebrate. Congrats to you ! Think its time you got yourself some 14's. Fantastic work7 -
To wear a pair of shorts or a swimsuit. I haven't wore any of these for over 10 years as I hate my body that much.11

The next three pounds.8

Weight mini-goal: get under 160
Non-weight mini goal: log my food consistently for the next week6 -
I want to be able to wear the three pairs of jeans waiting in my drawer. Two weeks ago I couldn't get them zipped at all. Today I could get them half-zipped. Another couple weeks!9

I had a kid a year ago, and I'm just seriously starting to try and lose the lbs.
I've got a couple of mini goals- Lose 10 lbs (2.6 lbs to go!)
- Get back to Onederland (about 15 lbs to go)
I missed this thread...such a good source of motivation!10 -
I am pretty motivated right now since I am 1.4 lbs to be below 170. Have not been below 170 for years.18

I dunno. I lost 61 pounds here in '12 and didn't do maintenance so I gained 33 of them back. Just decided I didn't like the way I was looking so it was time to get rid of them. I've lost 16 of them so far. Definitely doing maintenance this time!16

I hit my last mini goal this morning, to get under 200. 199.8 but it still counts! My next goal is 174. It would be the first time in my adult life I would be just "overweight" and I think I can do it by the end of October if I stay the course.14

I have 1.75 lbs to reach a 25% loss of my starting weight. It seems like I've been within 5 lbs for WEEKS.10

I want to be at 215 by august 15th (my almost 8yr olds birthday). I’m at 227 right now but if I can get there I’m going to eat pizza and cake and not beat myself up about it. I’m not going to gorge on it or anything but still. Also I really really just want to get back under 2006

I'm a numbers type of person too. Right now I was to get under 220 by Aug 1st. It'll be the first time in years. You got this I've got this!!!2 -
