09/14 Weight: 223.2, fasting blood glucose: 102.
09/15 Weight: 232.8, fbg 111. The weight fluctuation I don't mind. I do get nervous if the weight seems to be dropping too rapidly. The fasting glucose I'm concerned about, especially since I felt like I ate well yesterday. Oh well, new plan. Instead of tracking fbg weekly, track daily with religious food/exercise tracking. After 2 weeks, review data.
Big NSV: My calves fit into my knee high boots again. Thank goodness. Nothing more demoralizing than getting too big for your shoes.

09/15 188.6 again is good for me. I was expecting a stall after the drop from last round, and my dinner was quite salty last night. I also decided to eat a few more calories bc I was so very hungry. So I tried to eat at maintenance calories, I'm feeling better today and shooting for 1300 to maintain my downward trajectory

Female age 62 5' 4β - Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight β I'm working at it β it's a permanent way of life !
Challenge for this round will be the start of our fortnight's holiday 19th onwards, but goal for this round β to lose a pound. Phone calls and messages, and a garden visit from DED and her dogs. π¦ Water is up over 5% (having an analytical scale is very reassuring) which will go in a day or two. This is what maintenance is all about. The occasional indulgent day does little harm in the long run.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

70 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion... ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
We used to walk 5 miles a day. Recovered from back surgery then hip surgery!! Got back to walking then I sprained my ankle. UGH! I was down for 6 weeks with the ankle...sigh...now the smoke from the fires is keeping us inside.
The Shelter in Place has everyone freaked. We need to remain calm and respectful of each other.

09/14 141.0 I decided to incorporate my spoiler showing my round history. I finally feel like I've gained momentum in this process. I got way off track last round, Trying not to be an emotional eater, I found myself craving a drink at the end of the day. I have never been much of a drinker. I could count on my fingers how many drinks I have in a year, so this was alarming. So I had a snack instead and within a couple of days all my old bad eating habits were back. I don't have a solution right now - but I have to keep trying. I have special needs adults in my family who depend on me to be there for them 24/7. I need my health.

Female age 62 5' 4β - Achieved goal weigh of 125lb in summer 2016 by losing 66lb and have gradually gained between 7 and 11 since then; I don't want to gain any more, but would like to get back to my goal weight β I'm working at it β it's a permanent way of life !
Challenge for this round will be the start of our fortnight's holiday 19th onwards, but goal for this round β to lose a pound. Happy that the drop from yesterday has held so far. I spent the weekend dealing with some of the responsibilities on my plate, so that has helped my stress levels a bit.

I have moved to an IF 16:8 model, as I am finding if I have an early breakfast, then I am more hungry throughout the day. Still keeping it low carb as well, which really helps prevent snacking.

I'm finally settling into some good habits, and maintaining this new lifestyle is becoming easier. My husband is supportive, but still offers me treats that are high carb, which I medically need to control. He will get there at some point, but it is a test of my new habits.

09/14 188.4 My daughter's 16th Bday! She doesn't want cake but wants Domino's pizza for dinner. I'm going to try my best to make good choices. Also, how do you make time slow down???
09/15 188.4 Been the same weight for 4 or 5 days now. Still staying within my calorie budget and trying to avoid excess salt. Slow and steady wins the race, right?
09/16 188.4 again. I guess staying the same is better than gaining, even if it is frustrating!

9/14: 128.8..binged on Saturday and worked out like crazy yesterday to counter it. So sore today so going to try to get my 10,000 steps in and do a 30 minute body weight workout. I use CocoLime Fitness since I have chronic conditions.
09/15: 129.2...yesterday I put all my calories into the mfp and was trying so hard to stick to them but at the end of the night, I was so hungry and nauseous I ate a bigger later snack. Need to try harder today to stick to what I input in my calorie diary but at least my last snack was healthy plain oatmeal. I didnβt eat any junk yesterday but I still feel I eat too much healthy food I guess.
09/16...129.2 I donβt think I will ever loose these last few pounds again because I eat too much. I exercise every day for 1-2 hours either walking or doing a video but I know I probably eat too many calories. They are all one ingredient and super healthy foods but I hate being hungry after battling multiple eating disorders over the last 20 years. I get a little hungry and I panic and need to eat. It is that time of the month so hopefully that is adding a pound or so.
