Good Monday morning all you lovely ladies! It is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada so from us to all of you, whether you celebrate or not, happy Thanksgiving!
@changeforeverlj I followed your lead and weighed in a day early too ahead of our Thanksgiving meal! As you prep for that 20 minute run, I'm soooo impressed that you are excited! I was scared to death lol But felt sooooo accomplished when it was over!! I'm loving watching you love the program as much as I did!
@AlexandraFindsHerself1971 It sounds like you have a lot going on and a lot of responsibility on your shoulders! Good for you for prioritizing your health in the midst of all of that!
@Making_Impossible_Possible Congrats on sticking to it through the weekend!! And sounds like you've got an awesome plan for the week ahead!
@Candyn617 I wasn't around when you were last but I'm still thrilled to see you back! I can related to how easy it is to slip into old habits and to refocusing by reading boards for awhile! Looking forward to getting to know you better over the months to come!
@QuinnDXO Welcome! I only found this group this summer and it's been a lifesaver! Sounds like you have some difficult things going on right now so I'll give you the same unsolicited advice I give myself: please remember to be kind and patient with yourself...life is hard, we don't need to be harder on ourselves!
@KeriA Congratulations on the job!!! What a weight off your shoulders! I'm sure it's still a little stressful until you get settled in...but hopefully that stress will soon be behind you!!
@speyerj That's quite a whoosh, congrats!!
@mzsha90 I'm sorry for the loss of your Mom and can only imagine how difficult this time of year must be for you. I hope you find this group as rewarding as I do.
@kittengirl88 Zumba!! When it first started being a thing, we had a really great instructor and the classes were SO fun! I lost two dress sizes in six weeks one summer just doing zumba! Alas she moved away and the classes stopped...I will have to look into the online possibilities!!
@micwrites Wow, you have a LOT going on! Good luck with the house sale and ham string repair...and if it's your thyroid, I hope the docs can find you a solution quickly!
@Lasmartchika 204, you are getting closer and closer to Onederland! Great work!!
@msbrittanyhelene 242! That was my starting weight on June 1st so I've been in your shoes and I think if I can do it, anyone can! I have a lot more to go and am happy to have you and all the other ladies to do it with! You'll reach your goals before you know it!
@dprus2 Stress is a huge factor in weight loss. As a busy Mom, congratulations for taking the time to focus on you!
@torih941 There are all kinds of reasons for fluctuations, don't be disheartened!
@Tarzan37 I'm sorry about your grandmother. That is a very emotional time. I hope you give yourself some grace on the diet side as you handle it all.
@xofarrah Your routine certainly seems to be working! Getting closer and closer to Onederland!!
@shorepine working from home and homeschooling with a traveling husband sounds very stressful! Good for you for staying focused!!
As for me, I weighed in yesterday, ahead of our Thanksgiving feast!
Starting Weight June 1, 2020: 242
Starting Weight October 1, 2020: 199
Current Weight: 194
Goal weight October: 192 It is soooo within reach I can taste it!!
I'm slacking in my mindfulness goals but hope to get back on track with them this week! We got this, ladies!!5 -

I found a TON of options on Youtube for free! If you want to be Zumba buddies, add me as a friend and let's do it!

October GW: 189.9
9/21: 197.0
10/12: 193.8 (-3.2; I lost .5 lbs two weeks in a row and lost 2.1 this week!)

Whew - things got completely busy the last few weeks and I wasn't able to keep up with the end of the Setember thread. In addition to that, my eating wasn't ideal (nor was the tracking)..so I'm just glad the scale still moved despite that. I did not meet my September GW of about 191, but I'm still going in the right direction so I'll take it.
I'm at the end of an interview process for a new position so I've been reading up on stuff to be better prepared. If I get it, the first few months will probably be intense with just acclimating to the different clinical load. So I just want to make sure I get back to logging consistently and maintain my workouts despite the change in workload (fingers crossed I hear a final decision in the next few days!). I really want to lose another 15-20 lbs by the end of the year, but with holidays coming I have to really tighten up if I'm gonna make it.
Oh and just a workout update - I'm in week 3 of my strength program and still doing complimentary bike rides. Haven't missed a day!
Glad to see you ladies are all still kicking butt!7 -
Well I was told my salary and start date, gave a verbal acceptance and the paperwork is being prepared so I think it is official enough now. The salary is significantly more than my last job and the job title is at my level and not fudged like before.
This means I have 3 weeks to set up a home office, keep losing weight and getting fit. I will set up a routine to follow for when I start to work Nov 2nd so I will be able to continue to get exercise and cook at home. Today instead of exercise I will be bringing up boxes from my art room and take them to Goodwill. This way I will not just be setting up my home office but I will be setting up my art room for after I start to go into the office again when the City opens up.
Plan for the week:
• 2 strength training sessions. 3 walk/runs.
• Extra physical activity setting up home office. My office will be in a daylight basement room so lots of stairs.
• Drink my water
• Get enough sleep each night but start to get up at an earlier time. That means less late night reading.
• Figure out a system for meal planning, grocery shopping, that is easy to make meals at home.
• Figure out daily/weekly schedule for exercise that works for when I am working.
@QuinnDXO I hope your week goes well. Welcome.
@changeforeverlj Nice weight loss and exercise success!
@Candyn617 nice to see you back. That is what I did for a while I put checking in here 5-7 days a week as a goal. It helped.
@Making_Impossible_Possible I have a good feeling about this week too.
@AlexandraFindsHerself Hope your week goes well. Take care of yourself too.
@iloveeggnog I hope it was a great Thanksgiving. I don’t think I could deal with Thanksgiving and Halloween being in the same month. However you are looking good for your pre-Thanksgiving check in.
@kittengirl88 just before the pandemic our Y was going to have a new aquazumba teacher . Sometimes I do Zumba videos too but just the beginning ones which aren’t as fun. I use to do Zumba at my gym too.
@motivatedsister great job with September and October so far. Hope you get the new position.6 -
Got my touchup painting done upstairs and in the library. Also got the shelf and sign up and love the way my coffee corner looks now.

I just joined Fitness Pal again, and happened upon this thread. I had joined FP back in 2009 when I was at my highest of 465lbs. I went on to lose 220+, but then a couple years ago, things got stressful at home, and this year hectic at work and I completely fell off track during all of it.
This year in April I began trying to get on track with my weight again, I was 351lbs then. I'm now down to 325lbs. It's a process, and I have my moments but I'm trying to stick to it.10 -
@AlexandraFindsHerself1971 I have to say I absolutely love your coffee corner!0
-
@AlexandraFindsHerself1971 I have to say I absolutely love your coffee corner!
Thank you! I have a small kitchen so whatever I can get out of the kitchen helps, and that way no one is going "Oh, I just want a cup of coffee" while I'm trying to actually make food, and make me stop what I'm doing and waaiiiitttt while they piddle about with sugar and cream.
Hot tea is one of my secret weapons of weight loss. I have to drink it slowly, and it feels more indulgent. A tablespoon of cream is only about 50 calories but that will make it work in between meals so I can make it to lunch or dinner.
And at night I get hot tea and two butter cookies and it's a very nice way to wind down my day.

@iloveeggnog Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving! Is Canadian Thanksgiving similar to the US one? I was in New York for Thanksgiving once, it was very special. I loved trying out the pumpkin pie etc. Well, I did the 20 min run this am, got up at 5 am. I did it and I actually enjoyed it, in the end, I jumped for joy that's how excited I was!! I feel so motivated to carry on with week 6!
@AlexandraFindsHerself1971 Your coffee corner is fantastic!! I also love hot tea!
@KeriA I am celebrating your new job! Well done, new exciting stage in your life, I wish you well!
3 -
This is me, just finished my 20 min run, sunrise, feeling on top of the world!11 -
@changeforeverlj I am so proud of you!!!! Remember that feeling of accomplishment cause you earned it!!! That is the biggest step up there is in the couch25k program and many many people have to repeat weeks (not that there is anything wrong with that!) so reward yourself well!
Canadian Thanksgiving is relatively similar to the US version. Ours is pegged as more of a harvest festival. Families gather and have turkey with all the trimmings and pumpkin pie is often the dessert. Theirs is the kick off to the Christmas holiday season, though. Ours, thankfully 2 months out, is not! We go back to normal life until after Remembrance Day (Nov 11th) and then Christmas is fair game after that!3 -
@changeforeverlj what a gorgeous picture! Congrats!2
-
@AlexandraFindsHerself1971 That is such a wonderful corner!! I'm jealous!!
@kittengirl88 Zumba is always FUN!!0 -
@Lasmartchika, nice loss! And it sounds like you're hitting your goals.
@AlexandraFindsHerself1971, make sure to take care of yourself, too. That space looks great!
@micwrites, I agree. It is so nice to read stories of people struggling and succeeding. I love that visualize of a bungalow, you're taking the steps to get there.
@kittengirl88, welcome! I used to love doing Zumba at my old gym, it really gets you moving.
@mzsha90, so sorry to hear about your mom, I can only imagine the sadness during that time. Sending you warmth. Those are great goals to reach in order to better your health.
@MuttiNM, that sounds like a great day with your son. And kudos to you for setting the goal for yourself.
@speyerj, nice work! I really need to get a control on my late time snacking, incorporating more water instead.
@KeriA, you got this! I need to solidify my routine a bit more, too as well. Congratulations on the job, so awesome!
@QuinnDXO, hi! Welcome to this group. Great goals, everyone here will support you in that journey.
@changeforeverlj, great work, you are crushing your running goals! Amazing. And great photo, it looks beautiful!
@Candyn617, welcome back!
@Making_Impossible_Possible, wow I could have wrote what you did. I can do great during the week and I'm not sure what happens on the weekend. I'm really working on trying to control that, but it's hard.
@iloveeggnog, Happy Thanksgiving to you! Hope you enjoyed your holiday.
@amejias112, welcome! It definitely is a process.
This weekend was not my best, I slacked hard and just kind of ate and ate, even when I wasn't hungry. I'm feeling a bit disappointed and blah-like, just trying to get back on track. Hopefully the rest of the week will be a bit better.7 -
@torih941 - The weekends are SO hard for me!
I am having an issue though, and I'm not really sure what to do. I have been counting everything and sticking to my calorie limits, but I'm gaining! Only thing that has changed is I have started walking on the treadmill for 30 minutes every night (last night I so didn't want to, and 20min in I was ready to call it quits, but I did 30!), so I dont know if I'm holding onto water from that (I drink at least 64oz a day), or what.
I looked back at my diary, and maybe I'm eating too much salt. I decided on sandwiches this week instead of my usual salad, because as much as I love my salads, I dont wanna get burned out on em either. So I went with hard salami and buffalo style chicken deli meat instead. I have that planned for the week, and they're already made, so I'll stick to that for this week and will try something else next week and go from there.
I'm gonna keep on going though. This isn't gonna stop me!1 -
Hi, you all. I am starting back after getting lost 30ish lbs and stopped at 140 lbs with insanity. Six years later I have gained all the weight back plus more. I have gained 100 lbs in 6 years!! Unbelievable. I am currently around 238-240. I stopped checking. I need to do something I knew worked, so I dusted my insanity DVDs and got to work. Today was my second day. I am no way doing the full workout as I used to. I am modifying everything and I mean everything, some exercises I cannot do. So this alone is motivation to continue and make it my goal to start round 2 doing the full workout as I used to. Please I need all the motivation I can get. So if anyone wants to friend me please do.
🎃 Goal Weight: 150 lbs
🎃 10/12/20: 240 lbs
🎃 October Goals🎃
🍁 Lose inches of my body, I do not care to weigh in but I will on Mondays
🍁 Watch and log on my food no matter what
🍁 Continue with Insanity

So yesterday I started to clear out my art room where others keep putting things in. My son took it over when he still lived here and when he left my daughter cleared out his room and moved in putting his stuff in the art room. Yesterday I put things in another room we don’t use and store things in and brought up all the boxes she had put in there and sorted them.
I knew that Goodwill had opened up again but for a while they had long lines and they would close without notice when overwhelmed. I hoped things had settled down. That is what I did as soon as I got up and had breakfast today. I loaded up the boxes to be donated into the back of my car and went to the closest/easiest donation site. No line and just opened my back hatch and they took the boxes. Yay! I have wanted to do this all summer.
Now I have some boxes after sorting and some still in the room that I already know need to be kept that I can put away. I also have some work to do in the basement hallways later this week where people just pile things. Our last houses were much bigger but I wanted a house that would work for when we retire. Now we just have to get rid of things we don’t need any more since we are almost empty nesters and don’t need as much.
I have known for a while that getting rid of baggage is what weight loss is about and what decluttering is about and what getting your finances in order is about. They are all related. This year I/we have been working on all of this. Even with being on furlough I was paying off my credit cards. We just are now refinancing and getting rid of all consumer debt while interest rates are low. I have been losing weight, meal planning and cooking at home, setting up an at home exercise schedule. We have been as time allows decluttering as we could. This time for me is an opportunity to do the next big step in that decluttering work while getting more physically active. All of these things have been weighing me/us down. We have used this pandemic time to address all of them. I think of @AlexandraFindsHerself who is working to set up her new home as I do this. I/we have been setting up our renewed healthier life and home.
I am not as light as I want to be yet but I am lighter in every sense of the word and I am not stopping until I have all the work done that needs to be done.

@Motivatedsister good luck with the new job.. I have faith in ur ability to reach ur 15-20lbs weight loss goal by the end of the yr. Remember, if u really want it ull make it happen.
@KeriA congrats on the new job! It's good that u have time to plan for ur daily routine b4 u start working
@Micwrites That's great that ur pushing thru even with a ruptured hamstring 😬slow and steady still wins the race so keep it up and u'll be in ur new body and home in no time 😊👍🏾👍🏾
@Kittengirl88 Welcome! U'll definitely meet ur goal of moving more with zumba so that's a good investment. I need to get to movin more as well, but I've thankfully been able to still lose with mostly better eating choices and 95% water consumption (if not juice or alcohol).
@mzsha90 Sorry for ur loss. I too am an emotional eater. What helps me is to find something to replace the urge to eat: exercise, take a class to occupy ur time/ thoughts with other activities, visit a loved one or a something that gets u to leave ur comfort zone/home, even meal prep healthy&tasty snack alternatives
@speyerj Great job maintaining ur goal!👍🏾👍🏾
@QuinnDXO Welcome! As long as ur moving/walking ur doing good.
@changeforeverlj 66lbs is awesome!!! Congrats to ur accomplishment. I'm sure u got this next 33lbs by June
@Candyn617 I have been there b4 but the important thing is u are aware & refocusing on urself now. It's a process so start with baby step goals and b4 u know it u'll be feeling better looking back at ur accomplishments & will have gotten into ur groove. If u really want it u can it happen
@Making_Impossible_Possible Great job sticking to ur guns over the weekend & prepping ur meals! 👍🏾👍🏾 And yes too much salt could cause retention
@iloveeggnog Happy Thanksgiving!! And congrats for making it to ONEderland!! I'm sure u can knock those remaining 2lbs out to reach ur goal
@torih941 Aw Hun. What is causing u to feel down? Do u need a shoulder for support or an ear to listen? I'm here for u. May I suggest: try to focus on what u want for urself (& maybe a reminder of what u don't want to happen), then try to remove urself from ur "comfort zone" where u start eating, and replace eating with an activity. That way u can work towards "earning" a full meal to cut back on nibbling here & there. Also, meal prepping healthy snacks would definitely help. Hugs
@melissan84 I know how it is to look back and say Did I really gain all of it back plus more?? Ugh. BUT ur aware & back on ur health journey which is good. I used to watch this step aerobic tape that really helped me lose weight b4, but since I can't find the VHS tape (lol) so I went off of memory and freestyled it for 22min (tried for 30min, hopefully the next time I'll reach it)
Sooo i went to Las Vegas this past weekend for the 1st time to attend a friend's bday party so i was slacking on logging into MFP, BUT I'm proud to say i walked A LOT, and continued making healthy eating choices and today I'm weighing in at a weekly loss of 4.8lbs, total of 20.4lbs gone! Whoo hoo!! Another feel-good moment was when i wore a sleeveless, 1-shoulder, 1x shirt i thought i wouldn't be able to wear comfortably until getting under 200lbs. I was thinking when i bought it "Why am i doing this to myself? I'm just gonna be disappointed." But babeeee LET. ME. TELL. YOU. Ur girl was ROCKING that outfit! 🤸💃🏾😁 i never thought I'd be comfortable enough to wear such articles of clothing in public at this size, but since eating healthier & actually feeling lighter i guess I'm over that 😁

@remedieigotcha I bet your Vegas trip was sooo much fun, and what a victory to wear sleeveless! Great loss for the week

@KeriA I love your wholistic approach to losing weight, cleaning house, excercise etc! I completely agree with the way you are approaching weightloss, its about de-cluttering your life, a new clean, healthier beginning!
3 -
@iloveeggnog Thank you so much for your encouragement! Love having you ladies on my side. I think its lovely having your Thanksgiving spread apart from Christmas! We have holidays but nothing as significant as Thanksgiving! Christmas and Easter are our big ones.

@remedieigotcha, thank you for the supportive words and ideas. Sometimes I get a little overwhelmed with graduate school, my work, and trying to balance losing weight. It feels like a battle I won't win, but I know I just have to keep going and keep working on shifting my mindset. I am feeling a bit better and more focused today.4

Good morning, everyone, weigh-in Wednesday, whether I like it or not.
49 years old; 5'6"
SW: 236.4 (9/8/19)
9/30: 191.7
10:14: 196.0
10/31 goal: 185
My goal this month was to re-start my weight loss efforts, which stalled and had resulted in a gain since March. I was far from successful. On 10/2, my husband was readmitted to the hospital (he had a bike accident in early September and was in the hospital for 2 weeks with 5 broken ribs and a punctured lung, then home for 2 weeks). At the check up they could see his lung had deflated again and still had 2 holes, so he had to have thoracic surgery. He is doing well after the surgery and has his follow up appointment this Friday. I'm praying that everything is healing as it should. On top of this work has been very stressful and now the family we have been "bubbling" with was potential exposed to COVID so we have to figure out whether we need to quarantine or are at risk.
I did well the first week after the accident but I have been back to my old habits to cope with stress and uncertainty. I am giving myself some grace given the circumstances but I am still annoyed with how I could do so well for 7 months and lose nearly 50 lbs, and be in this position that I gained 10 back. I know if could have been worse and what is important is I am still here. But I am frustrated that I know what I need to do and what worked for me before and I am still having trouble executing.
Just a few shout outs -
@Candyn617 - welcome back! It's good to see you here!!
@torih941 - sending you hugs; I totally get it.
@changeforeverlj and @iloveeggnog and @speyerj - so impressed with what you all have accomplished! Seeing accomplishments like yours reminds me that despite this stressful time it is possible to take care of yourself and make progress - no excuses.
@KeriA - congrats on the new job and I am so happy that you are preparing for success to continue your progress as you move into this new phase.
@tarzan37 - I'm so sorry about your grandmother, and also your cat. Losing loved ones is so hard.5 -
Weigh in Wednesday
Highest weight: 435 (11/1/18)--lost 50 lbs. by the end of 2018 but got off track and gained back almost 31 lbs.
SW: 415.8 (4/17/19)
9/30: 201.0
10/7: 197.6
10/14: 195.8
10/21:
10/28:
10/31:
Oct. GW: 194.4
GW: 160 (then reevaluate)
Weekly exercise goals:
- bike ride or exercise bike 5 times per week - 5/5
- strength training 2 times per week - 2/2
- chair yoga 4 times per week - 4/4
- steps onto aerobic step platform twice a day at least 3 times per week - 3/3
Not too much going on here. My son and I did a second bike ride on Saturday. That one was about 26 miles on a gorgeous riverside trail through some really lovely fall colors. I think that trail is my favorite so far. Unfortunately, it's a couple hours from my house so I won't be riding it again any time soon.
I only have one trip to my parents scheduled this coming week so things have slowed down with their appointments and errands for the time being. The weather is supposed to be cold, windy, and rainy the next few days. I guess that means the exercise bike instead of biking outside. I can do cold, I can do windy (up to a point), but add in being wet to those two and I'm not there yet. Maybe someday I'll ride no matter the weather!
@aliciap0116 Sorry to hear that your husband was readmitted to the hospital. I hope you get positive news at his appointment on Friday. You definitely should give yourself some grace with all you're dealing with right now. Maybe just logging your food without trying for any kind of deficit will keep the logging habit going and you could go back to a deficit when things calm down for you. You have other priorities right now. Hugs and prayers to you and your family.2 -
@Making_Impossible_Possible - yes, starting a new exercise routine will lead to water retention. So will eating more carbs than usual. You mentioned switching from salads to sandwiches. It's not that carbs are bad for you, but when you eat more than you use to, you will hold on to more water. Just keep doing what you are doing. The whoosh will come.
@KeriA - SO insightful. Yes, the discipline, self-knowledge and self-confidence we gain in losing weight can easily be applied to other areas of our life. This can be a life changing exercise, in so many ways, if we apply these tools to other areas of our life that are holding us back.
@aliciap0116 - So sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he gets back on his feet soon. Please don't beat yourself up. 10 pounds is a mere blip on the radar in the grand scheme of things. Sometimes when everything is crazy focusing in on what you can control (your diet) might provide the structure and discipline that can get your through a rough patch. But if not, go easy on yourself and make a plan for when you can return to structure and discipline. Hang in there. Glad you keep coming back here.
@changeforeverlj - Nice job on that 20 minute run. Now the rest is easy. You just build on that accomplishment.2 -
@remedieigotcha, thank you for the supportive words and ideas. Sometimes I get a little overwhelmed with graduate school, my work, and trying to balance losing weight. It feels like a battle I won't win, but I know I just have to keep going and keep working on shifting my mindset. I am feeling a bit better and more focused today.
Oh Tori, I'm so sorry you feel this way some days. This sounds corny but don't underestimate the power of positive thinking (and not as Lou Reed said, "The Power of Positive Drinking' ) When you catch yourself thinking things like, "it's too much", or "I can't win this", try to turn the negative thought into a positive one like, "Yes, there is a lot to do, but I am strong and capable and I have the drive to succeed" and say it out loud to yourself or write it down, even if you don't believe it at the time. Keep practicing at it and eventually the negative thoughts will get less and less and you'll be able to more quickly replace them with positive statements that you really do hold to be true. Yes, it sounds like a Tony Robbins infomercial, but it really does work!3 -
@aliciap0116, so sorry to hear about your husband. I hope he’s still on the mend! I also hope the COVID scare is nothing but a scare.
@speyerj, thank you, I appreciate the positive words. I’ve been working on positive self-talk and it really does make a difference. And I made it to my workout class even though I didn’t want to go and just wanted to kind of “wallow” in the negativeness, but I made myself get dressed and move. I’m happy I did. I have a lot of outside stress going on, my mom has an upcoming surgery that is going to be pretty intensive recovery wise, and just puts a lot of extra stress on me with caretaking. Sorry for the vent session, but I appreciate all the support and hugs and positive thoughts.7 -
@AlexandraFindsHerself I love the coffee corner. We all need one of those now that so many are working from home. I have a small kitchen too. I really want an espresso machine but there is no room in my kitchen. You are giving ideas.
@amejias112 you have made a lot of progress. This group has really helped me. Welcome.
@everyone thanks for helping me celebrate my new job.
@torih941 I hope this week is going better. I know what you mean about battling on too many fronts. Sometimes it is just too much but other times after working on all of them something starts to give and then things get easier.
@Making_Impossible_Possible Yes I think you are doing the right thing and keep on going. Yes maybe limit the salt a bit. You are probably retaining water in your muscles. Are you measuring? How are your clothes. If you were staying the same weight it might be eating too little with the exercise but it doesn’t seem likely when you are gaining. I think you will have a big woosh eventually.
@melissan84 most of us know it isn’t unbelievable to gain easily and quickly. We also know it is usually difficult and slow to lose. You are wise to modify the workout. Be sure to get a good night sleep and drink enough water. Losing weight is mostly a matter of what you eat and finding a sustainable meal plan so when you lose you can maintain the loss. Exercise is really for your health and can help weight loss but also complicates it. So be ready to adjust things as you go along.
@remedieigotcha How nice to lose on a trip. Great NSV too.
@aliciap0116 I am so glad they found the holes and the surgery was successful. I am sorry it has been so stressful. I will be praying with you for complete healing and for you and your family going through this. Take care of yourself too. I hope work settles down and you get the COVID risk sorted well. You didn’t need that on top of your husband’s surgery. I just had a small surgery and you have to be tested and isolate before it. I am not sure it is time to lose yet but I hope you get the gain turned around for now. We expanded our bubble to include my daughter’s boyfriend. However he lives with only an uncle who is our age and is staying safe like we are.
@MuttiNM I am so glad you have your son to bike with. When my son lived at home he would go on runs and I would mostly walk around this great lake trail together. I decided that now that I have a job I will get a bike. It may take a while since they are in demand.
I am getting myself again down to my low and need to keep at it to get a loss. I am still working hard at the room so will not push the exercise until I get through the physical part of setting up my home office. I could drink more water but am getting in the sleep I need. Have a great rest of the week all!7 -
I'm so happy to have found this thread! I'm freshly post-partum from my second baby (two under two!) and I'm very motivated and excited to use my maternity leave to get my fitness and weight back on track.

My first major goal is back to Onederland at 199, but I've broken it up into several mini-goals. I'm hoping the post-partum whoosh continues for a bit longer and I'll drop into the two-twenties just from delivery, and then as soon as I'm cleared for exercise I'll start hustling to get down as far as I can before the calendar year is over. Since I'm breastfeeding I have to be mindful of cutting too many calories - I'll have to make healthy choices with what I do consume.
Other non-weight goals: get back to running! I'd like to be able to run 5K without stopping again, then work my way back up to half-marathons.5 -
Today's been rough for my boyfriend mental health-wise, and some of that rubbed off on to me. I'm just going to give myself a pass because I kept the emotional eating down to eating an extra 150 calories, and I will take rescue meds tonight and deal with the rest of it. (Problem is they put me to sleep. I don't want to go to sleep til bedtime.)6
